What to do if the FH65 headset produces no sound?

Check power first: the emitter and receiver must be plugged in/on. Ensure receiver batteries are charged and switch is ON. Also check that the emitter is connected to an audio source (TV, radio) and that the source volume is not at zero. As a last resort, plug a wired headset directly into the source to verify it works.

Why is the signal lost during use?

The infrared signal requires a direct line of sight between the emitter and receiver. Move away from the emitter if you are too close (less than 50 cm) or move closer if you are out of range (max 10 m). Also check battery status: if low, recharge the receiver in the charger.

The signal is intermittently interrupted, what to do?

Obstacles between the emitter and receiver can disrupt the signal. Move to restore visibility. Move the emitter away from other electrical devices (cordless phones, WiFi) that may cause interference. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

How to charge the receiver batteries?

Simply place the receiver in the designated charger. The charger LED flashes green/red during charging. After about 10 hours, the LED becomes solid green, indicating the batteries are full. You can leave the receiver in the charger to maintain the charge.

What is the maximum range of the FH65?

The range is about 10 meters in the same room, provided there are no opaque obstacles between the emitter and receiver. Walls and doors block the infrared signal.

Can I use the FH65 with any TV?

Yes, the emitter plugs into the headphone jack (3.5 mm) of your TV, radio, or other audio source. If your TV does not have a headphone jack, you can use an RCA or SCART adapter (sold separately).

How to adjust the volume on the headset?

Turn the dial on the side of the receiver: to the right to increase volume, to the left to decrease. Ensure the audio source volume is not too low.

What to do if the charger LED does not light up?

Check that the charger is plugged into a working power outlet. Ensure the receiver is correctly positioned in the charger (metal contacts aligned). If the LED remains off, the adapter or charger may be defective: contact customer service.

Can I use non-rechargeable batteries in the receiver?

No, the receiver is designed to use only the supplied rechargeable batteries. Using non-rechargeable batteries could damage the device and void the warranty.

How to clean the FH65 headset?

Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the exterior. Never immerse the device in water and do not use solvents or abrasive products. Keep charging contacts clean and dry.

USER MANUAL FH65 Fysic

The FH-65 is a cordless infra-red stethoset receiver system with which you can adjust the volume of your TV, radio, personal stereo and other hi-fi equipment to suit your individual needs. In addition, the system allows you to move around freely without the constrictions of cables within the room where the transmitter is placed.

The range is up to 10 meter in the same room in which the transmitter is located.

The receiver is powered by 2 rechargeable batteries. These batteries are charged by just placing the receiver in the included charger pod

INSTALLATION

Take the 12V power adapter and connect it with the DC 12V jack on the backside of the transmitter. Put the power adapter in a 230V AC wall

Connect the audio core you want to listen to.

The lamp will start flashing red/green, indicating quick charge.

After about 10 hours the lamp will light steady green, indicating trickle charge.

You might leave the receiver in the charger pod so that the batteries are charged the moment you want to use your headphone.

PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

FH-65 DOES NOT FUNCTION AT ALL:

• Problems with the power supply:

Check whether the power adapters are connected to the transmitter / receiver and if they are put in a 230V wall socket.

Check whether batteries are placed in the receiver and if they are fully charged.

Check whether the transmitter and receiver are switched-on.

• Problems with the sound source:

Check whether the transmitter is connected to a audio device.

Check the volume control of the connected audio-device.

Check whether the audio device is switched on.

SIGNAL DROPS:

• You are out of range of the transmitter:

Signals from the transmitter may reach your receiver directly or reflected by walls and ceiling. These signals however cannot pass closed doors and walls. Please make sure that the receiver can see the transmitter.

• The receiver is too close to the transmitter:

At distances of only a few centimeters the received signal is too strong to handle by the receiver. In such case please increase the distance

• The batteries in the receiver unit are (almost) empty:

Charge the batteries by placing the receiver into the charger pod.

The volume is set to 0 (zero):

Rotate the volume controller clockwise to increase the volume.

THE SIGNAL SOUNDS DEFORMED:

• Obstacles between the transmitter and receiver disturb the transmission:

Move yourself to obtain a clear sight between the transmitter and the receiver.

• Another electronic device (like a cordless (DECT) telephone) is used close to the transmitter:

If possible relocate the transmitter as far as possible from other electronic equipment.

Exhausted batteries may never be disposed of in household waste but must be handed in at your local depot for chemical waste.

If you notice a defect, consult the manual first. If this manual gives you no definite answer, consult your dealer with a clear description of your complaint. He will collect the device together with this guarantee card and the dated purchase ticket and he will take care of a prompt repair, respectively free sending to the importer.
