How do I make an emergency call?

Slide the help call key on the back of the device firmly upward. The phone will start dialing the three emergency numbers stored in sequence after a 5-second delay. To cancel, push the key back down. After the call is answered, the phone switches to hands-free mode and displays the predefined help message.

How to adjust the ringtone volume?

Go to Main Menu > Phone Setting > Sound Setting > Set Volume > Ring Tone Vol. Use the arrow keys to select the desired level (1-7) and press OK to confirm.

How to insert the SIM card?

Remove the battery cover and battery. Locate the SIM card slot, insert the SIM card with the gold contacts facing down and the cut corner aligned. Then replace the battery and cover.

How to charge the phone?

Connect the power supply unit to a wall outlet and plug the small connector into the charging socket on the phone. The battery indicator will show charging status. Use only the original charger (Output: 5V, 800mA).

How to set the direct dial keys (M1, M2, M3)?

Go to Main Menu > Set M1/M2/M3. Select the key you want to assign. Choose 'From Phonebook' and pick a contact. The key will now dial that number when held down in idle mode.

How to change the language?

Press M1 to open the main menu, navigate to Phone Setting > Display Setting > Language. Use the arrow keys to select your preferred language and press M1 to confirm.

How to unlock the keypad?

Press M3 (back key) followed by the # key. The key lock will be deactivated. To reactivate, set the auto key lock time in Phone Setting > Auto KeyLock.

How to set an alarm?

Go to Main Menu > Clock & Alarm. Select 'Alarm' and set the time. You can choose whether to enable the alarm and select the alarm tone. Press M1 to save.

How to add a contact to the phonebook?

In idle mode, press M1 to open the main menu, select Phonebook > Add New. Choose to save to SIM or Phone. Enter the name and number using the keypad, then press M1 to save.

How to restore factory settings?

Go to Main Menu > Phone Setting > Restore Factory Settings. Enter the password (default: 1122). Confirm 'ARE YOU SURE?' with M1. Note: Data on SIM card is preserved; phone settings are reset.

1 Important Safety Information GB

- Make sure than small children do not play with the packaging material (danger of suffocation). The device and its accessories may contain small parts that can be ingested. Information on Disposal

Packaging is reusable, or can be recycled. Please correctly dispose of packaging material no longer required. Should you detect any transportation damage when unpacking the device, please contact your dealer immediately.

This device may not be disposed of along with household refuse! Every consumer is obliged to deposit all electrical or electronic devices, no matter whether they contain harmful substances or not, at a collection point in his/her town or with a commercial dealer, so that it can be disposed of in an environmentally-friendly way.

4.7 Making an Emergency Call

NOTE

Save up to three emergency phone numbers that will be dialled in sequence in the case of an emergency. For reporting settings, see section 7.9.

Press the help call key on the back of the device and push it firmly upwards to trigger the emergency call.

The emergency call begins after a delay of 5 seconds. In this time you can prevent a possible false alarm by pushing the emergency call key back down again.

Your mobile phone dials in sequence the three emergency call numbers saved until the call is accepted. The phone then switches to the hands-free mode.

After the call, the phone emits an emergency ringtone. The display shows the predefined help message.

Fast Keys

Fast keys 2 to 9 are useful for getting to the most important menu items quickly. By pressing and holding down one of these keys, you call up the menu item assigned to it. For example, “Alarm”, “Select image”, etc...

SMS messages are short written messages. They can be entered, sent and received with mobile phones and some landline phones.

A signal tone and the message “1 New Message!” in the display indicate that a new SMS message has been received.

NOTE

A call can be accepted by pressing the accept call key even if the keys are locked. The lock is reactivated when the call is finished.
