Warranty The warranty period is 12 months for industrial use and 24 months for consumers. The warranty starts on the day of purchase of the appliance. The warranty exclusively applies to material or manufacturing defects. The original proof of purchase including the date of purchase must be submitted when applying a claim in the warranty period. The warranty does not cover any unauthorised use such as appliance overload, violent use, damage by a foreign person or an undesirable item. The failure to follow the Operating Instructions and assembly instructions and common wear and tear are also excluded from the warranty.

General safety instructions Check the appliance whenever it is to be used. If the safety equipment and/or blades are damaged or worn out, the appliance may not be used. The safety instructions must always be followed. Use the appliance only for the purposes specified in the Operating Instructions. Safety in the place of your work is your responsibility. Before starting the appliance, check the area to be cut. Remove any undesirable items you find. Be careful about undesirable items during your work. If you hit any obstacle when cutting, switch the appliance off (release the switch) and remove the obstacle. If the blades are blocked, switch the appliance off and remove the defect (thick branch, undesirable item) using a blunt item. Never use fingers – live blades may cause serious injury. Remove the battery before removing the defect. Blades run down for a while after switching the appliance off! Check the electric cable at regular intervals for damage and wear (fragile cable).The cable may only be used when in a perfect state. Work under good visibility only. Stand steadily when working. Never use the appliance when raining or in moist conditions. Protect the charger and the cable against damage and sharp edges. Any damaged cable must immediately be replaced by an electrician. Never use the appliance when raining. Do not let the appliance standing outdoors. The appliance may not be used in wet conditions. Wearing safety gloves is recommended when working with the appliance. Wear suitable working clothes such as gloves and non-slip shoes. Do not wear wide pieces of clothing. If the appliance is not being used, it must be fitted with a protective cover included in the supply to prevent any accidental contact with the blades. The appliance may not be overloaded. Do not use the appliance for works for which it has not been designed. The appliance must be regularly checked and serviced. Damaged blades to be always replaced in pairs. If the appliance is damaged by impact (falling on hard surface, etc.), it must immediately be checked by an expert. Treat your appliance carefully. Keep it clean and sharp to make sure cutting is efficient and safe. Follow the maintenance and cleaning regulations. The appliance has not been designed to be used by persons (including children) with physical, sensory or mental limitation.
