  • The iron must not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains.
  • The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before thewaterreservoirislledwithwater.
  • The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
  • When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable.
  • The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
  • Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age when it is energized or cooling down.

  • Always proceed with this operation with the plug disconnected from the current socket.
  • Make sure that the steam adjustment command (4) is in the position of dry ironing (see chart A).
  • Open the cover (3) and ll the tank through the appropriate hole without exceeding MAX level (11) indicated on the tank itself. Don’t ever put inside the tank any perfumed substances.
  • Close the cover (3). ADVICE:
  • If water if your area is particularly calcareous it is advisable to use distilled water.
  • Fill the tank with water.
  • Through the steam adjustment command (4) choose the desired steam supply (see chart A). NOTE:
  • When the iron is placed vertically during the ironing pauses the steam supply is automatically cut off.
  • When used for the rst time, some water drops can come out together with the steam. This is to be considered normal. Before ironing you clothing do some tests on an old cloth.
  • Put the steam adjustment command (4) in position of dry ironing. DRY IRONING
  • Push several the super-steam button (5): the iron will supply an instantaneous high power steam jet. NOTE:
  • Don’t consecutively push the button too many times to avoid coming of non steamed SUPER-STEAM FUNCTION
  • Check that the steam adjustment command (4) is in the position of dry ironing (see chart A).
  • Completely unroll the feeling cable (7), put the iron in a vertical position and connect the plug to the current socket.
  • With the temperature adjustment knob (9) select the temperature suitable for the type of fabric to iron (see chart B).
  • Thermostat indicator (8) switches on and will switch off when the plate has reached the selected temperature. At this point the iron is ready for use. ADVICE:
  • Iron rstly more delicate fabrics which require low temperature and then more resistant ones which require higher temperature;
  • Before starting with ironing pass the iron over a small internal area of your item of clothing to make sure that the selected temperature is suitable for that type of fabric. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS STEAM IRONING SPRAY FUNCTION
  • This function allows to wet the clothing during both steam and dry ironing.
  • To activate it push several time the spray button (6) e direct the water jet onto the most resistant creases.ENGLISH
  • To “liven up” the clothes hung on coat hangers, curtains etc. you can vertically use the iron:
  • Set the temperature adjustment knob (9) on MAX indication.
  • Hold the iron in vertical position at a distance of about 15-20 cm from the fabric.
  • Push the super-steam button (5) several times. Note:
  • Don’t consecutively push the button too many times respecting the pauses of some seconds between one operation and another after. IMPORTANT!
  • Don’t use this function on fabrics made of synthetic bres.
  • Maintain an adequate distance between the fabric and the ironing plate to avoid burning.
  • Use this function exclusively on clothes hung on coat hangers. Don’t ever try to iron the clothes worn by a person: the steam is very hot, you could cause serious burning. VERTICAL IRONING
  • Your iron is supplied with a self-cleaning system which allows to reduce the formation of limestone deposits. In order that it produces its benets it is necessary to regularly effectuate the operation, at least once a month. Proceed as following:
  • Set the dry ironing function.
  • Fill up the tank up to MAX level
  • Make the iron function as normal bringing the plate to the maximum temperature.
  • Disconnect the plug from the current socket when the iron is ready.
  • • Set the steam adjustment control (4) on the symbol ( ) “self cleaning”, pull out the rod with the steam adjustment knob and leave the iron in horizontal position over a sink or a bowl, until the tank is empty.
  • * Then insert the rod with the steam adjustment knob and rotate the control (4) until it is set to “0”.
  • • Afterwards connect the plug to the current socket and moving the iron above an old cloth, eliminate all the residue water present in the plate. IMPORTANT!
  • Pay attention not to get in contact with the water that is comes out from the plate since it is bowling and you could get burned. NOTE:
  • Before re-using the iron to iron the clothing, pass the cold plate on a dry cotton cloth. SELF-CLEANING SYSTEM water drops.
  • Use this function only with the temperature adjustment knob (9) set up to the steam function.
  • When the super-steam is used for the rst time, some limestone scales could come out so we advise you not to discharge the rst steam jets directly onto the clothing.ENGLISH
  • Disconnect the plug from the current socket.
  • Always put the steam adjustment command (4) in dry ironing position.
  • Leave the iron to completely cool down.
  • Place the iron in vertical position. AFTER USE IMPORTANT!
  • Before effectuating any cleaning operation, disconnect the plug from the current socket and wait until the iron is completely cooled down.
  • Clean the body of the iron only with a soft and dry cloth.
  • Regularly clean the plate using a normal non abrasive sponge in order not to ruin the plate surface.
  • Don’t use chemical or abrasive substances.
  • Don’t ever emerge the appliance in water or other liquid substances.
