① PRECAUTIONS IMPORTANTES

• Avoid serious injury or death from falling or sliding out, ALWAYS use child restraining system. Child may slip into leg openings and strangle.
• Stroller may become unstable if manufacturer's recommended load is exceeded, or if parcel bag or accessory other than that recommended by the manufacturer is used or hung from the stroller.
• To avoid stroller instability and tip-overs, maximum weight for the storage basket is 4.4 lbs (2 kg).
• Children and adults should stay away from moving parts while making stroller adjustments. Damage to fingers or extremities may occur when opening or closing.
• Care must be taken when folding or unfolding stroller to prevent finger injury from hinge areas. Make sure child is not in the seat or near the stroller when folding or unfolding.
• Stroller is for use with children who can sit up unassisted and is NOT recommended for newborns.
• DO NOT make any alterations or modifications to the stroller with products not supplied by the manufacturer as this may cause instability or structural damage not covered under warranty.

• ALWAYS exercise care when going over curbs or steps, and never use stroller for anything other than transporting your child. Push stroller at a normal walking pace only; faster strolling can cause a loss of control and injury to the child.

• DO NOT allow child to climb on, into, out of, or around stroller.
  DO NOT allow child to stand on the footrest.

• STRANGULATION hazard: Strings can cause strangulation! DO NOT suspend strings or toys from the canopy. DO NOT place stroller anywhere near cords from window blinds, draperies, phone, etc.
• This stroller is suitable for children up to 55 lbs (25 kg) and 41" (104.1 cm) tall.
• Avoid tip-over. Keep handles free of hanging bags and purses. Use storage baskets.
• The travel bag is for stroller storage only. Do not use for other purposes.

BATTERY INFORMATION

This product contains a coin battery. A coin battery can cause serious internal chemical burns if swallowed.

WARNING: Dispose of used batteries immediately. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium, lithium-ion) batteries.
• Insert batteries in the correct polarity position.
• Do not short circuit battery terminals.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from product. Dispose of batteries properly.

• Use caution when opening battery compartment as some batteries may leak, explode or catch on fire.

• Do not submerge in water or other liquids.

• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed before being charged.
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

NOTE: Requires four AA/LR6 batteries and coin cell battery. AA/LR6 Batteries not included. For longer battery life, use four AA/LR6 alkaline batteries and one CR2032 lithium coin cell battery. When lights become faint or do not turn on, it is time for an adult to change the batteries.

1. Set the stroller on the ground with the handles facing towards you.

1. Press the handle extension buttons, then pull upward to extend the handle arms.

2. Unfold the wheel frames.

1. Flip the canopy forward.

2. Lift the handles straight up.

USING THE BRAKES

TO UNLOCK: Step on the LEFT foot lever to unlock both rear brakes.

1. Flick the stroller forward until the base and wheels click into position.

TO LOCK: Step on the RIGHT foot lever to lock both rear brakes.

NOTE: Step on the foot levers to lock or unlock brakes. Do not try to pull up on the levers.

USING THE SAFETY HARNESS

Lock stroller brakes before seating or unseating your child. Always secure child using harness while seated.

1. Adjust shoulder strap height to be in line with your child's shoulders.
2. Slide the side buckle's top prong into the shoulder strap's anchor.
3. Insert the side buckle's tongue into the main buckle until it clicks.

Complete steps 1 and 2 for both sides.

1. Adjust the straps if necessary. The safety harness should be snug against your child's body but not too tight.

NOTE: For shoulder strap tightening, push strap through the buckle then pull tight.

TO RELEASE: Press the buckle release button to undo the safety harness.

ADJUSTING THE SEAT POSITION

The Night Owl Stroller comes with an adjustable recline fabric sling seat feature.

1. Locate the 3 zippers located on the back side of the fabric sling seat.
2. To recline fabric sling seat, unzip all 3 zippers. Zip them back up for upright position.

USING THE NIGHTLIGHTS:

Press the power button on crossbar to turn on the nightlight feature. Press once again to turn off.

NOTE: To preserve battery life, the nightlights will perform an auto shut off after approximately 90 minutes of usage. The nightlights will blink 10 times to indicate they are about to shut off. If more time is needed, simply press the power button to turn the lights back on. The auto shut off timer will reset back to 90 minutes.

NOTE: Expected Battery life is approximately 50 hours of usage.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

AA Batteries:

1. Locate the screw port on the underside of the battery compartment door. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the screw. Once the screw has been loosened, battery compartment door will loosen for easy removal.
   NOTE: Screw cannot be fully removed. It only needs to be loosened to remove battery housing and fully tightened to secure battery housing.
2. Insert two AA/LR6 alkaline batteries into the battery compartment, starting with the left battery compartment. Follow the "+" signs for proper installation.
3. Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws.
4. Repeat the above steps 1-3 for the second installation on the right side AA/LR6 battery compartment.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT:

CR 2032 Lithium Battery:

1. Locate the screw on the underside of the battery compartment door. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the screw. Once the screw has been removed, battery compartment door will loosen for easy removal.
2. Insert one CR2032 Lithium battery into the battery compartment with the "+" sign facing outward.
3. Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw.

1. Push the folded seat down to the ground. The rear wheels should fold forward under the seat.

1. Flip the canopy to the back.

1. Press the handle extension buttons, then shorten the handle arms.

1. Grasp the sides of the folded seat, then lift and tilt the front straight up. The front wheels should fold down into place.

NOTE: If wheels do not fold down, squeeze frame as shown to allow wheels to collapse.

1. Squeeze the frame release levers located directly beneath the handles, then fold the seat forward.

1. Fold the wheel frames inward. If necessary, turn the front wheels toward the seat.

1. Place the stroller on the ground with the handle side down. From above, enclose the stroller with the travel bag and then close the zipper.

CARE, MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING

Wipe with a clean damp cloth. Do not bleach. Do not Iron. Do not machine wash or dry.

Before each use, check for worn or damaged parts.

Always check that your child is securely restrained by the seat harness when seated and that the straps are not frayed or disconnected from the seat.

Remove and reinstall the batteries if LED lights are not responding, replace batteries as needed.

Munchkin's Night Owl Ultra Compact Stroller with Lights includes a 1-year limited warranty against defects from the date of purchase. In the event of a malfunction or defect during the in-warranty period, Munchkin, Inc. at its option, will replace or repair the product under warranty. Upon receipt of the product and proof of purchase with a valid date of purchase, the defective part will be immediately repaired or replaced and returned to you free of charge (USA only). Please send defective unit, proof of purchase and a description of the problem you have encountered to:
