This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. The device is designed solely for use in a domestic/private environment and not for professional use. Make sure that children and minors do not play with or use the device. Lanaform cannot be held liable in the event of accidental damage resulting from any use contrary to the instructions given in these instructions for use. Always follow these instructions when using this appliance. Do not use accessories that are not recommended by LANAFORM or that are not supplied with this equipment. Never let anything drop, and never insert any object, into any openings. Do not dismantle the device entirely. Do not wash the entire unit with water and do

not immerse it in water. Consult the cleaning instructions in this manual. If the device's electrical power cable is damaged, the device must be disposed of. The surface of the device may be very hot. Those who are insensitive to heat should take care when using this device. Do not store the product for long periods in a hot or humid environment. Use the device only with the correct mains voltage as shown on the device. Do not use the device at all if there is any damage visible. Do not catch or insert any part of your body, particularly your fingers, between the device's mobile massage elements or into the area where they are located.

⚠️ Fire hazard

Using this appliance incorrectly or failing to comply with these instructions could cause a fire in some cases. Never use the massage device for more than 20 minutes (risk of overheating) or leave it to cool down for at least 20 minutes before using it again. Never use the massage device unsupervised, especially when children are present. Do not use this device under a cover or cushion.

Never use the massage device in the vicinity of petrol or other flammable materials.

Handling

After each use and before it is cleaned, switch off the device and unplug it. Make sure that moving parts can always be moved unimpeded; Make sure you don't get your hair caught in the device; Do not allow the device to come into contact with pointed or sharp items; Do not bend the device or its cable; Keep the device away from nearby sources of heat such as ovens, radiators or direct sunlight; Never insert any items into the openings of the device; Switch off the device and unplug it from the mains when you want to remover or insert the massage tips.

Electrocution

As with any electrical device, this massage device must be used

cautiously and with care to avoid any risk of electrocution. Use the device only with the correct mains voltage as shown on the device; Do not use the device at all if there is any damage visible to it or to its accessories; Do not use the device at all during a storm. If the device is faulty or breaks down, switch it off and unplug it immediately, if necessary. Do not hold and never carry the device by its power cable. Keep cables away from hot surfaces. Do not open the device at all. Do not touch the device at all if it has fallen into water and the power cable is plugged in to a power supply source. Unplug the power supply cable immediately. Do not use the device if it or its accessories show any signs of damage. Do not hit or drop the device. Only use the device inside, in rooms protected from any humidity; Use the device only with dry hands; Do not use the device at all in the bath, shower or close to washbasins that are full; Do not use the device at all in a swimming pool, jacuzzi or sauna; Do not use the device at all outside.

Presentation

Thank you for choosing the Body Tapping device. With its three massage heads, you can adjust your massage to the area targeted. Massages can have a relaxing or stimulating effect and are recommended in the event of muscle spasms, aches and pains or fatigue. The Body Tapping device provides a powerful and intense massage for the back, neck, shoulders, arms, thighs and calves. The device is intended solely for personal use and not for medical or commercial purposes.

Area of use

The Body Tapping device is designed to massage different parts of the body. It is not a substitute for medical treatment. Do not use the device if you are concerned by one or more of the following warnings:

• Its use is prohibited on animals
- Its use is prohibited in the event of a slipped disc or pathological changes to the vertebrae
- Its use is prohibited for massages in the area of the heart if you wear a pacemaker. In this case, consult your doctor before hand regarding the other parts of the body
- Its use is prohibited on skin and swollen and burnt parts of the body presenting with inflammation or injury
• Its use is prohibited during pregnancy
- Its use is prohibited on the face (eyes), larynx or other particularly sensitive parts of the body
• Its use is prohibited when sleeping
- Its use is prohibited after taking drugs or alcohol (limited sensory perception)
- Its use is prohibited on bones (joints, backbone)
• Its use is prohibited in a vehicle

If you are not sure that the massage device is suitable for you, consult your doctor.

Check that the appliance is turned off before plugging in the power cable.

Instructions for use

01 Choose the most appropriate massage head for the area you want to massage. To do this, loosen the product's massage head in an anti-clockwise direction. Then screw the head you have selected on to the product in a clockwise direction.

① The round massage head (4) is suitable for gently massaging the neck and trapezius muscles.

① The pin massage head (5) is suitable for intensely massaging the thighs and middle of the back.

① The pointed massage head (6) is suitable for more accurate massaging of the lower back and calves.

02 Connect the power cable (7) to a socket.

03 Press the stop/start button (3) up for strong intensity (3a) or down for low intensity (3c), depending on your preferences.

- We recommend starting with the lowest intensity and increasing it if necessary.

04 You can be standing up, sitting or lying down; you massage yourself or massage another person.

05 Slide the device over the area to be massaged, holding it with one or both hands.

Do not massage any part of the body for more than three minutes.

06 After using the device (for up to 20 minutes at the most), switch it off and let it cool down.

Maintenance

Before cleaning the device, unplug it and let it cool down. Always clean the device with a slightly damp cloth.

• Before cleaning it, unplug the device.
- Clean the device using only the method shown. No liquid should be allowed to penetrate the device at all, or its accessories;
- Wait until the device is completely dry before using it.

Storage

Keep your device out of the reach of children in a dry place and away from any sources of heat.

Diagnosis

Advice on waste disposal

The packaging consists entirely of environmentally-friendly materials that can be taken to your local waste sorting centre to be used as secondary materials. Cardboard can be placed in a paper collection container. Packing film must be taken to your local sorting and recycling centre. When you are no longer using the device, dispose of it in an environmentally responsible manner and in compliance with the statutory requirements.

Limited warranty

LANAFORM guarantees that this product will be free from any material and workmanship defects for a period of two years from the date it was purchased, other than as specified below.

The LANAFORM warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear on this product. In addition, the warranty on this LANAFORM product does not cover damage caused as a result of any abusive, inappropriate or incorrect use, accident, attachment of any unauthorised accessory, modification of the product or any other situation of whatever kind, beyond the control of LANAFORM.

LANAFORM shall not be held liable for any type of incidental, consequential or special damage.

Any implied warranties of the product's fitness for purpose are limited to a period of two years from the original purchase date on presentation of a copy of the proof of purchase.

Upon receipt, LANAFORM will repair or replace your device, as appropriate, and return it to you. The warranty may only be used at the LANAFORM Service Centre. Any maintenance and repair work carried out on this product by any person other than the LANAFORM Service Centre will invalidate this warranty.
