Before any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect hood from the mains by removing the plug or disconnecting the mains electrical supply. Always wear work gloves for all installation and maintenance operations. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not be allowed to tamper with the controls or play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. The premises where the appliance is installed must be sufficiently ventilated, when the kitchen hood is used together with other gas
combustion devices or other fuels. The hood must be regularly cleaned on both the inside and outside (AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH). This must be completed in accordance with the maintenance instructions provided in this manual. Failure to follow the instructions provided in this user guide regarding the cleaning of the hood and filters will lead to the risk of fires. The flaming of foods beneath the hood itself is severely prohibited.
1.SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The use of exposed flames is detrimental to the filters and may cause a fire risk, and must therefore be avoided in all circumstances.
Any frying must be done with care in order to make sure that the oil does not overheat and ignite.

CAUTION: Accessible parts of the
hood may become hot when used with cooking appliances.
For lamp replacement use only lamp type indicated in the Maintenance/Replacing lamps section of this manual.

WARNING! Do not connect the
appliance to the mains until the installation is fully complete.
With regards to the technical and safety measures to be adopted for fume discharging it is important to closely follow the regulations provided by the local authorities.
The ducting system for this appliance must not be connected to any existing ventilation system which is being used for any other purpose such as discharging exhaust fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels. Do not use or leave the hood without the lamp correctly mounted due to the possible risk of electric shocks.
Never use the hood without effectively mounted grids.
The hood must NEVER be used as a support surface unless specifically indicated.
Use only the fixing screws supplied with the product for installation or, if not supplied, purchase the correct screws type.
Use the correct length for the screws which are identified in the Installation Guide.
In case of doubt, consult an authorised service assistance centre or similar qualified person.

WARNING! Failure to install the screws or fixing device in accordance with these instructions may result in electrical hazards.
2. USE
The hood serves to aspirate the fumes and vapors resulting from cooking.
The attached installation manual indicates the version to be used depending on the model you have, the suction version with
external evacuation or filtering with internal recirculation
3. INSTALLATION
The mains power supply must correspond to the rating indicated on the plate situated inside the hood. If provided with a plug connect the hood to a socket in compliance with current regulations and positioned in an accessible area, after installation. If it not fitted with a plug (direct mains connection) or if the plug is not located in an accessible area, after installation, apply a double pole switch in accordance with standards which assures the complete disconnection of the mains under conditions relating to over-current category III in accordance with installation instructions.
Warning! Before re-connecting the hood circuit to the mains supply and checking the efficient function, always check that the mains cable is correctly assembled.
The minimum distance between the supporting surface for the cooking equipment on the hob and the lowest part of the range hood must be not less than 50cm from electric cookers and 65cm from gas or mixed cookers. If the instructions for installation for the gas hob specify a greater distance, this must be adhered to.
4. MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION! Before performing any maintenance operation, isolate the hood from the electrical supply by switching off at the connector and removing the connector fuse.
Or if the appliance has been connected through a plug and socket, then the plug must be removed from the socket.
The cooker hood should be cleaned regularly (at least with the same frequency with which you carry out maintenance of the fat filters) internally and externally. Clean using the cloth dampened with neutral liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive products.
DO NOT USE ALCOHOL!
Warning! Failure to carry out the basic cleaning recommendations of the cooker hood and replacement of the filters may cause fire risks. Therefore, we recommend observing these instructions.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any damage to the motor or any fire damage linked to inappropriate maintenance or failure to observe the above safety recommendations.
4.1 Grease filter - The grease filter must be cleaned once a month using non aggressive detergents, either by hand or in the dishwasher, which must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle. INFORMATION AND SAFETY
Before any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply by unplugging it or switching off the household mains switch. For all installation and maintenance operations, use protective gloves. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision. The room must be sufficiently ventilated when the cooker hood is used simultaneously with appliances that use gas or other
fuels. The hood must be cleaned regularly, both internally and externally (at least once a month), and in any case, maintenance must be carried out in accordance with the maintenance instructions given in this manual. Failure to follow the instructions regarding the hood and filter cleaning will lead to a risk of fire. Strictly forbid flambéing food under the hood.
1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The appliance must be installed in accordance with the regulations and can only be used in well-ventilated areas. Every installation must be carried out in such a way as to prevent the oil from overheating and igniting.
WARNING: When the appliance is in operation, the accessible parts of the aspirator may become hot.
For replacing the lamp, use only the type of lamp specified in the section on maintenance/replacement of the lamp in this manual.
Warning! Do not connect the appliance to the electrical power supply until the installation is completely finished.
When disposing of the appliance, follow the technical and safety regulations applicable for its disposal. It is important to follow the rules given by the local authorities. The exhaust air must not be discharged into an active flue used for fumes created by appliances that burn gas or other fuels. Do not use the aspirator without a correctly installed filter to avoid the risk of electric shock.
Never use the aspirator without a correctly installed grille! The aspirator must never be used as a support surface unless explicitly stated. Use only the fixing screws provided with the product for mounting, and ensure they are the correct type. Use the correct length for the screws as specified in the mounting section. In case of doubt, consult
the authorized technical support center or a qualified professional.
WARNING! Incorrectly installed screws for fixing may lead to the risk of electric shock.
2. USE
The aspirator is used for extracting vapors from cooking. The accompanying mounting instructions indicate which version can be used for the model you have, including the version with external exhaust.
The exhaust air is expelled through a pipe with a circular cross-section.

3. INSTALLATION
The main electrical connection must correspond to the voltage shown on the rating plate inside the aspirator. If the aspirator is not equipped with a plug, connect it to the mains in accordance with the wiring diagrams, placing it in an accessible position even after installation. If it is not equipped with a plug (direct connection to the electrical supply), the connection must still be made in an accessible position, even after installation. Use a bipolar switch in accordance with the standards that ensure complete disconnection from the electrical supply under conditions of overvoltage category III, in accordance with the installation instructions.
!Warning! Before (re)connecting the aspirator to the electrical supply, always check that the power cord is correctly installed.
The minimum installation height of the hood above the cooking surface for electric hobs should not be less than 50 cm, and for combined or gas hobs 65 cm. If the installation instructions for the gas hob specify a greater distance, this must be taken into account.
4. MAINTENANCE
Warning! Before any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the hood from the electrical mains by removing the plug or by switching off the main household circuit breaker. The hood must be cleaned regularly (at least with the same frequency as the maintenance of the grease filters) both on the inside and on the outside. For cleaning, use a cloth dampened with neutral liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive sponges. Do not use alcohol!
Warning! Failure to follow the instructions for cleaning the hood and replacing the filters may lead to a risk of fire. It is recommended to follow the suggested instructions. No liability will be accepted for any damage or motor failure or fire caused by improper maintenance or failure to follow the above instructions.
4.1 Grease filter - The grease filter should be cleaned monthly with neutral detergents, either by hand or in a dishwasher at low temperature and with a short cycle. By washing in a dishwasher, the grease filter may lose its shine, but its filtering characteristics remain unchanged.

4.2 Type 20 LONG LIFE - Filter with active charcoal that can be washed
The charcoal filter can be washed every two months in hot water with neutral detergent and in a dishwasher at 65°C (to avoid overload in the dishwasher, the washing cycle should be done without dishes inside).
Rinse it in running water without damaging the filter, then remove the excess water from the inside of the plastic part and place it in the oven for 10 minutes at 100°C for complete drying.
Replace it every 3 years and whenever the fabric is damaged.
4.3 Type 15 - Active charcoal filter THIS IS NOT WASHABLE
The saturation of the charcoal filter occurs after more or less prolonged use depending on the type of cooking and the regularity of cleaning of the grease filter. In any case, it is necessary to replace it at least every 4 months.
It cannot be washed or regenerated.
