Water Dispenser

(in some models)

The water dispenser is a very useful feature that provides cold water without opening the refrigerator door. Since you won't have to open the door frequently, you'll save energy.

BEKO CN151920D - (in some models) - 1

Using the water dispenser

Push the arm of the water dispenser with your glass. The dispenser will stop operating once you release the arm.

When operating the water dispenser, maximum flow can be obtained by pressing the arm fully. Please remember that the amount of flow from the dispenser depends on how far you press the arm.

As the water level in your glass or container rises, slightly lessen the pressure on the arm to prevent overflow. If you press the arm lightly, the water will drip; this is quite normal and not a malfunction.

Filling the water dispenser's tank

The water tank filling reservoir is located inside the door rack. Open the reservoir cover and fill it with clean, potable water. Then close the lid.

BEKO CN151920D - Filling the water dispenser's tank - 1

BEKO CN151920D - Filling the water dispenser's tank - 2

Warning!

  • Do not fill the water tank with any liquid other than water, such as fruit juices, carbonated beverages, or alcoholic drinks, which are not suitable for use in the water dispenser. The water dispenser will be irreparably damaged if these kinds of liquids are used. The warranty does not cover such usage. Some chemical substances and additives contained in these drinks or liquids may damage the water tank.
  • Use clean and pure potable water only.
  • The capacity of the water tank is 3 liters; do not overfill.
  • Push the arm of the water dispenser with a rigid glass. If you are using disposable plastic glasses, push the arm with your fingers from behind the glass.

Cleaning the water tank

  • Remove the water filling reservoir inside the door rack.
  • Remove the door rack by holding from both sides.
  • Grab the water tank from both sides and remove it at a 45° angle. Clean the water tank by removing its lid.

Important:

Components of the water tank and water dispenser should not be washed in a dishwasher.

Water tray

Water that drips while using the water dispenser accumulates in the spillage tray.

Take out the plastic strainer as shown in the figure.

With a clean and dry cloth, remove the water that has accumulated.

CAUTION: Connect only to a potable water line.

Dual cooling system:

Your refrigerator is equipped with two separate cooling systems to cool the fresh food compartment and freezer compartment. Thus, air in the fresh food compartment and freezer compartment do not get mixed. Thanks to these two separate cooling systems, cooling speed is much higher than other refrigerators. Odors in the compartments do not get mixed. Also, additional power saving is provided since the defrosting is performed individually.

Freezing fresh food

  • Wrap or cover the food before placing them in
  • Hot food must cool down to room temperature before putting it in the refrigerator.
  • The foodstuff that you want to freeze must be fresh and of good quality.
  • Foodstuff must be divided into portions according to the family's daily or meal-based consumption needs.
  • Foodstuff must be packaged in an airtight manner to prevent them from drying even if they are going to be kept for a short time.
  • Materials used for packaging must be resistant to cold and humidity and must be airtight. The packaging material of the food must be of sufficient thickness and durability. Otherwise, food hardened due to freezing may puncture the packaging. It is important for the packaging to be closed securely for safe storage of the food.
  • Frozen food must be used immediately after thawing and should never be re-frozen.
  • Please observe the following instructions to obtain the best results.
  • If the fridge has a quick freeze function, activate it when you want to freeze food.
  • Do not freeze too large quantities of food at one time. The quality of the food is best preserved when it is frozen right through to the core as quickly as possible.
  • Take special care not to mix already frozen food and fresh food.
  • Make sure raw foods are not in contact with cooked foods in the fridge.

Never use gasoline, benzene or similar substances for cleaning purposes. We recommend that you unplug the appliance before cleaning. Never use any sharp abrasive instrument, soap, household cleaner, detergent and wax polish for cleaning. Use lukewarm water to clean the cabinet of your cooler/freezer and wipe it dry. Use a damp cloth wrung out in a solution of one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to one pint of water to clean the interior and wipe it dry. Make sure that no water enters the lamp housing and other electrical items. If your cooler/freezer is not going to be used for a long period of time, unplug the power cable, remove all food, clean it and leave the door ajar. Check door seals regularly to ensure they are clean and free from food particles. To remove door racks, remove all the contents and then simply push the door rack upwards from the base.

Never use cleaning agents or water that contain chlorine to clean the outer surfaces and chromium coated parts of the product. Chlorine causes corrosion on such metal surfaces.

Protection of plastic surfaces

Do not put the liquid oils or oil-cooked meals in your cooler/freezer in unsealed containers as they damage the plastic surfaces of your cooler/freezer. In case of spilling or smearing oil on the plastic surfaces, clean and rinse the relevant part of the surface at once with warm water.

Indicator panel

Indicator panels may differ depending on the model of the product.

(In some models)

This is a very useful device that allows you to get chilled water without opening the refrigerator door. Since the refrigerator door is opened less often, energy is saved.

BEKO CN151920D - (In some models) - 1

Using the water dispenser lever

Press a glass against the lever of the chilled water dispenser. If you release the lever, the dispenser will stop working.

To get the maximum water flow, press the lever all the way down. Note that the harder you press the lever, the greater the water flow from the dispenser.

As the tank empties, the water flow may weaken. Press the lever harder to prevent water from dripping. If you press the lever lightly, water may drip. This is quite normal and is not a sign of malfunction.

Filling the chilled water dispenser tank

The water tank capacity is located inside the refrigerator door. Open the water tank lid and fill the tank with clean drinking water. Then close the lid.

BEKO CN151920D - Filling the chilled water dispenser tank - 1

BEKO CN151920D - Filling the chilled water dispenser tank - 2

Attention!

Do not fill the water tank with anything other than drinking water. Liquids such as fruit juices, carbonated and alcoholic drinks are not suitable for use in the chilled water dispenser. Using any such liquids may damage the chilled water dispenser and put it out of order. Damage caused by improper use is not covered by the warranty. Such drinks may contain chemicals or additives that can damage the water tank.

Use only fresh, clean drinking water. - The water tank capacity is 3 liters. Do not overfill it. - The chilled water dispenser lever can be pressed with a glass made of hard material. When using a disposable plastic cup, press the lever behind the cup with your fingers.

Cleaning the water tank

Remove the water tank, which is located inside the refrigerator door. - Remove the door shelf by lifting it from both sides. Take out the water tank at a 45-degree angle, holding it from both sides. Remove the lid from the tank and wash it.

Important note

The water tank and the chilled water dispenser must not be washed in the dishwasher.

Water dripping from the cooler is collected in a tray for water collection.

Remove the plastic mesh as shown in the figure.

Wipe the accumulated water with a dry cloth.

WARNING! Connect only to the drinking water supply.

Crisper light

(on some models)

In fruits and vegetables stored in containers with light, the photosynthesis process continues, as it is stimulated by light in the visible range. Thus, they retain freshness, and the vitamin content in them increases.

BEKO CN151920D - (on some models) - 1

Rotating container

If you need to place tall bottles, cans, or boxes on the lower shelf, the container can be moved to the right or left (fig. 1).

To remove products from the container, take it by the right edge and turn it (fig. 2).

To put products in the container or to remove it empty, turn it 90 degrees, lift it, and pull it towards you (fig. 3-4).

BEKO CN151920D - Rotating container - 1

To preserve the quality of products placed in the refrigerator, they must be frozen as quickly as possible.

According to the Turkish Standards Institute (determined for appropriate measurement conditions), it is required that within 24 hours at an ambient air temperature of 32°C, for every 100 liters of freezer compartment volume, 4.5 kg of products can be frozen to a temperature not exceeding -18°C.
