- Clean the extractor hood with a damp cloth or a neutral detergent.
4. CONTROL ELEMENTS

The symbols on the control panel are described below.
- The hood is designed to be installed above a gas hob. The minimum distance between the hob and the lower part of the hood must be 650 mm (for gas hobs, the distance must be at least 650 mm; for electric hobs, it may be less, but follow the instructions in the installation manual).
- If the distance between the gas hob and the hood is less than the minimum specified, the hood must be installed with a safety device. For further details, refer to the technical specifications in the installation manual.
The drain valve, electric pump, and the pump's operating instructions must be followed. The first group of instructions is intended for the safe installation and operation of the device. The drain valve has a minimum diameter of 120 mm and must be installed together with the drain pipe. The pipe must be as short as possible. The drain pipe must be installed with a slope towards the drain. The drain valve must not be installed in places where there is a risk of freezing (e.g., in unheated rooms). If the drain valve is installed together with electric pumps (e.g., submersible pumps), it must be installed in such a way that the pumped liquid does not flow back into the pump. To prevent this, a check valve must be installed at the outlet. If the device is used with pumps that are not electrically powered, a check valve must be installed to prevent backflow, with a minimum pressure drop of 0.04 bar. The device must be installed away from heat sources or open flames.
The drain valve must not be installed in a location where it can be damaged.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard. Do not connect the device to a socket that is not properly grounded. If the device is used in industrial settings, it must be maintained according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
WARNING: Before installing the drain valve, remove the protective caps. Do not use the drain valve with flammable or explosive materials. WARNING: Do not install the device in areas where flammable or explosive materials are present, as this may cause electric shock or fire. - Do not look directly into the light source (e.g., UV lamps) with the naked eye. - Do not place the device under the drain valve; it may leak. 8. Do not use the device if it is damaged or if it has physical, sensory, or mental impairments, or
If the device is used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, they must be supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the device. Children must not clean or maintain the device without supervision.
- Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device. If the device is used by persons with physical, sensory, or mental impairments, or without proper knowledge, they must be supervised or instructed in its safe use.
It is possible to use the device together with other electrical appliances.
After the indicated time, clean and/or replace the device (if necessary). Refer to the "Maintenance and Cleaning" section. If the drain valve is used together with pumps that operate on gas or other types of fuel, the installation must be carried out in accordance with the instructions (see the manual).
The suction side of the aspirator.
- Connection to the mains must be made in accordance with the rules for cable use. For devices of class I, check that the household electrical supply has appropriate protective earthing.
- Connect the aspirator to an exhaust duct with a minimum diameter of 120 mm. The duct route must be as short as possible.
- The air exhaust regulations must be followed. Do not connect the aspirator to a duct that carries flammable gases (boilers, heaters, etc.). If the aspirator is used together with devices that do not run on electricity (e.g., gas appliances), adequate ventilation must be provided in the room to prevent backflow of exhaust gases. When the aspirator is used together with appliances that do not run on electricity, the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 0.04 mbar, to prevent backflow of exhaust gases into the room from the aspirator.
- Air exhaust
It is used for exhausting gases from appliances that run on gas or other fuels.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its authorized service agent. Connect the plug to a socket that matches the regulations and is located in an accessible place. Regarding the technical and safety measures for gas exhaust, it is important to strictly follow the local regulations.
WARNING: Before cleaning the aspirator, remove the anti-grease filters. Use only soft cloths for cleaning the aspirator.
