How to charge the battery of the BSS82SIL1 vacuum?

You can charge the battery in three ways: with the provided charging cable, in the base station (after wall mounting), or with the included fast charger. Only use the original charger. Charging time to reach 80% is approximately 4 to 5 hours depending on battery capacity.

What is the runtime of the vacuum?

The runtime depends on the mode and battery used. With a 4.0 Ah battery, you can get up to 65 minutes in standby mode with a non-electric accessory, 50 minutes with the electric brush in standby mode, 20 minutes in auto mode, and 10 minutes in turbo mode.

How to clean the filter of the vacuum?

To clean the filter unit, turn off the appliance and remove the dust container. Remove the lint filter and the slat filter. Never expose them to liquids. You can tap them or gently brush them to remove dust. Reinsert them correctly before replacing the container.

What to do if the error display lights up red?

If the Δ symbol lights up red for about 10 seconds, refer to the Troubleshooting chapter of the manual. Possible causes include improperly installed, discharged, overheated battery, or overheated appliance. Follow the steps: check the battery, charge it, or let the device cool down.

Notes

• Like every Li-ion battery, the batteries from the Power for ALL 18 V series wear out over time, meaning that the battery capacity and the runtime decrease. This is a natural aging process and not the result of a material error, manufacturing error or material defect.

• You can delay the natural wear by using the following measures:

• Only charge the battery in the temperature range between 0^ and 45^ .

• Only store the battery in the temperature range between -20 °C and 50 °C.
• Do not store the battery for an extended period of time if it is fully charged or fully discharged.

• Check whether any household wiring could be damaged in the installation area.

• Do not install the base station horizontally or vertically above, below or next to a socket.
