Press and hold the power switch for 3 seconds to turn the device on or off.

Do not touch the screen before the device has fully started. If the problem persists, use the reset button located on the side.

Can I use the GPS with an athermic windshield?

Yes, the SiRF III receiver is designed to work behind athermic windshields. You can also use the included external TMC antenna if needed.

How to adjust volume and brightness?

From the main menu, press the + or - buttons to adjust volume. For brightness, press 'Bright' then adjust with + or -.

What multimedia file formats are supported?

The player supports MP3 audio files, MP4 videos, and images (standard formats). Insert an SD or MMC card into the slot to access files.

How to recharge the GPS battery?

Use the included car adapter by connecting the USB cable to the GPS and the adapter to the cigarette lighter. The charging indicator lights up.

Brief introduction of hardware

Standard Package

Before getting started with your GPS, check to see that your INVION GPS-3V4 package includes the following items (if you are missing any parts, please contact your INVION dealer immediately):

(1) Power button: press and hold for 3 seconds to turn the GPS unit on or off.

*Tip1: Do not touch the touch screen before the unit starts up completely; otherwise, the touch screen may fail to work.

Connect to Car Power

1. Connect the USB plug of the car power adapter to the USB port on the side of the GPS Unit.
2. Connect the car cigarette lighter plug of the car power adapter into the car cigarette lighter socket.

Top Menu

1. Press the POWER button to turn on the GPS unit.
2. The "Top Menu" screen will be displayed.

NOTE: During navigation or other operations, quickly pressing the POWER button will display the "Top Menu" screen.

Volume

1. Tap (+) or (-) on the "Top Menu" screen to adjust the volume.
2. Tap on the screen to mute the sound. The following will be displayed on the screen:

Bright

Tap Bright on the "Top Menu" screen to display the "Bright" menu.

1. Tap (+) or (-) on the screen to adjust the brightness of the screen.
2. Tap Back on the screen to return to the "Top Menu" screen.

Entertainment

You can play the audio, video or picture files stored in SD or MMC memory cards.

1. Insert the SD or MMC memory card into the card slot.
2. Tap Entertainment on the Top Menu to change to Media player mode. The SDMMC DISK folder will be displayed.

1. Tap SDMMC DISK folder to open it. The folder list will be displayed.

1. Tap a folder (Picture, Music, or Film) to open it; or tap a file to play it.

To Play an Audio or Video File

1. Tap the Music or Film folder to open it.

1. Select and tap the file to play it.

NOTE:

While a video is playing, tap the video screen area to toggle between the two screen sizes.

To View a Picture File

1. Tap the Picture folder to open it.

1. Select and tap the file to view it.

NOTE:

While displaying a picture, tap the picture screen area to toggle between the two screen sizes.

The following buttons appear on the Folder screens.

Tap to return to the Top Menu.
Tap to display the entertainment interface.

Tap to scroll up the folder list or file list.

Tap to scroll down the folder list or file list.

Tap to show the file list in thumbnail mode.

Tap to show the file list in list mode.

Tap to return to the folder list.

The following buttons appear on the Audio and Video Media screens.

Tap to play a file or all files repeatedly.

Tap to play the files in random order.

Tap to play the previous file.

Tap to pause the playback.

Tap to resume the playback.

Tap to play the next file.

Tap to stop the playback.

Tap to return to the file list.

The following buttons appear on the Picture Media screens.

Tap to view the previous picture.

Tap to play the picture slideshow continuously.

Tap to view the next picture.

Tap to rotate the current picture 90^ clockwise.
