Never use the power cord to lift up, carry or unplug the appliance. - Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance. - Do not allow the power cord to hang or to come into contact with the hot surfaces of the appliance. - Keep the appliance away from heat sources and sharp edges.

- Do not use the appliance in the “Choppin” function for more that 10 seconds continuously, or making cycle for moret han 1 minute, in that case the break must be at least 30 seconds. Instructions for use Before use: - Before using the product for the first time, we recommend running it just with water. - Before using the product for the first time, clean the parts that will come into contact with food in the manner described in the cleaning section. Filling with water (for cooking function): - You must fill the water compartment before turning on the appliance. - It is essential to have filled the deposit with water to be able to work with steam. - Open the lid of the filling mouth. - Fill the deposit taking care to observe the level indicated. - Close the lid. Use: - Take the length of cable required out of the housing. - Connect the appliance to the mains. Cooking: - Turn the appliance on, by using the on/off
-The pilot light (D) comes on. - Select the appliance function desired. - Work with the food you want to process. - Once the water has boiled the appliance will switch off automatically. Once you have finished using the appliance: - Stop the appliance by releasing the on/off switch. - Unplug the appliance from the mains. Chopping: - Put the food to be prepared in the chopping container and attach the cover firmly. -Turn the appliance on using the on/off switch - Stop the appliance when the food reaches the desired texture. Accessories: Spatula: -Useful to remove the food from the jar Cleaning - Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task. - Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry. - Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance. - Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water.
How to deal with lime scale incrustations:
- For the appliance to work correctly it should be kept free of limescale or magnesium incrustations caused by the use of hard water. - To prevent this kind of problem, we recommend the use of water with low lime or magnesium mineralisation. - However, if it is not possible to use the kind of water recommended above, you should periodically remove the limescale from the appliance: - Every 6 weeks if the water is “very hard”. - Every 12 weeks if the water is “hard”. - To do so, we recommend the use of the specific product Taurus Decal, which can be found in specialised shops and authorised technical services. - A specific anti-lime scale product should be used on this kind of product. - Homemade solutions are not recommended in the decaling of this appliance, such as the use of vinegar. Anomalies and repair - Take the appliance to an authorised technical support service if problems arise. Do not try to dismantle or repair without assistance, as this may be dangerous. - If the connection to the mains has been damaged, it must be replaced and you should proceed as you would in the case of damage.
