How to adjust the playback speed (Pitch)?
Activate PITCH mode with the PITCH ON/OFF button (LED on). Use the PITCH FADER slider to vary the speed by ±10%. For a temporary variation, hold down the PITCH + button (increase by 16%) or PITCH - button (decrease by 16%) as long as you press.
How to create a loop?
During playback, press the LOOP button once to set the start point. Press LOOP again to set the end point. The loop repeats. To cancel, press LOOP again.
How to use the Cue function?
In PAUSE or SEARCH mode, press CUE to mark a point. The display shows 'CUE'. During playback, press CUE to return to that point and pause. Hold CUE to listen to the point; release to resume normal playback.
How to program the track order?
Press PROGRAM to activate the mode. Use the SKIP buttons to select a track, then press PROGRAM to add it. Repeat up to 30 tracks. Press PLAY to start. To clear the program, hold PROGRAM for 2 seconds.
What to do in case of condensation on the laser lens?
If the unit is moved from a cold to a warm environment, condensation may form. Plug in the unit without turning it on and wait about 1 hour for the condensation to disappear.
How to clean the discs?
Use a soft cloth and specific disc cleaning products. Wipe from the center to the edges. Do not touch the surface with dirty or wet hands. Store discs in their case after use.
How to connect the unit to a mixing console?
Use RCA cables (Line Out) to connect the charger to the Line/Stereo inputs (CD/TAPE/VIDEO) of the mixing console or preamp. Also connect the controller to the charger via the supplied DIN cable.
How to activate Relay mode?
Set both players to SINGLE mode (SINGLE/CONTINUOUS button). Press RELAY. The players will alternately play one track from each side. Press RELAY again to deactivate.
Can I play a scratched or warped disc?
No, severely damaged discs (scratched or warped) should not be inserted. This could damage the unit. Make sure your discs are in good condition.
How to use the Auto Start function?
Connect the AUTO START input of the controller to the CONTROL OUT output of a fader-start compatible mixing console. Opening the fader starts playback; closing it pauses.
