Frequently Asked Questions - BV 2300 ATIKA

How to start the BV 2300 vacuum?
Before starting, make sure the collection bag is properly installed and the zipper is closed. Plug the device into a grounded outlet with a 30 mA residual current circuit breaker. Set the switch to the suction or blowing position, then turn on the device.
What to do if suction is weak?
First check if the collection bag is full (empty it if necessary). Make sure the tube is not blocked. For models with speed adjustment, increase the speed. Also check that the extension cable has sufficient cross-section (at least 1.5 mm² for max 25 m).
Can I vacuum wet leaves?
It is not recommended to vacuum wet leaves as they are harder to pick up and may clog the device. It is better to collect leaves in dry weather as soon as they fall.
How to clean the collection bag?
Empty the bag after each use. Shake it and brush it. If heavily soiled, hand wash in soapy water (at least once a year). If the zipper is stiff, rub the teeth with dry soap. Replace the bag if damaged.
What is the warranty for the ATIKA BV 2300 vacuum?
The warranty is 2 years from delivery, covering defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover damage due to misuse or normal wear (turbine, bag). Repairs must be carried out by the manufacturer or an authorized service center.
What types of debris can I vacuum or blow?
The device is designed for light, dry materials: leaves, grass, small branches, small pieces of paper. Never vacuum metal, stones, glass, liquids (especially flammable), burning or smoking objects.
How to adjust the speed of the vacuum?
The BV 2300 model allows progressive adjustment of the rotation speed between 6000 and 13000 min⁻¹. Use the adjustment knob to adapt the suction or blowing power as needed.
What safety precautions should I take?
Always wear safety goggles, ear muffs, gloves, and non-slip shoes. Do not wear loose clothing. Ensure no person or animal is within 5 meters. Never point the tube at people or animals. Unplug the device before any maintenance.
How to store the vacuum after use?
Unplug the device. Clean it with a cloth or brush (no water or solvents). Store in a dry, locked place out of reach of children. For long-term storage, perform a thorough cleaning.
Where to find spare parts for the BV 2300?
Use only original ATIKA spare parts. Contact the manufacturer or an authorized service center. Repairs must be carried out by the service center. Do not use non-original parts.
