MAINTENANCE AND CARE
General Check the functions of the baby stroller regularly. Check the stability of the frame, tightness of the screws, function of the locking devices, mount of the wheels and the function of the brakes. From time to time, check the condition of the sewn seams of the cushion covers and examine the plastic parts. Damaged or worn parts should be immediately replaced. This applies to parts that are broken, torn, faulty or worn out. Only use original hauck replacement parts. Do not expose your baby stroller to extreme sunlight, as this may cause fading of the fabric covers and plastic parts. Cleaning the covers Remove the cover from the frame by loosening or opening the necessary straps, snap fasteners or screws. Before washing, read the care instructions on the attached label. To gently clean the cover, clean it uniformly with a moist cloth. If the cushion material cannot be removed from the cover, be careful not to soak the cushion when cleaning the cover. If there are no plastic, wood or metal parts on the cover, you can wash the cover in a washing machine at 30° C and spin dry at medium speed. Hang the cover on a line to dry, but not in the direct blazing sun. Do not dry the cover in an automatic dryer, as it may shrink. Wait until the covers are completely dry before putting them back on the cushions and back in the baby stroller. Cleaning the frame Always dry the baby stroller with a soft cloth after using it in the rain or snow. To clean the frame use mild soapy water or lukewarm water. Dry with a soft cloth. Plastic parts can be cleaned with commonly available cleaning agents. Maintenance of the wheels Clean and apply petroleum jelly or anti-corrosion spray to protect against rust and build-up of corrosive residues regularly. In winter, remove salt residue immediately. Remove dirt from the wheels and axles regularly.
