SOMMAIRE

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

- All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.

- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance.

- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

- Never immerse the appliance in water. Do not touch the water!

- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any type of danger.

- Do not use the juicer if its cord, plug or housing is damaged, nor after it malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any way.

- Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow the cable to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop.

- The device is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

- Turn off and unplug the juicer from the mains supply when not in use and before cleaning it. Pull from the plug, not the cord, to disconnect it from the outlet.

- This product is designed only for household use. It is not suitable for commercial or industrial use. Do not use outdoors.

• Do not use any accessory that has not been recommended by Cecotec, as they might cause injuries or damage.
• This device can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out by children without supervision.
• Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children.
• Keep this appliance and its power cable out of reach of children under the age of 8.
• Place the juicer on a dry, flat and stable surface.
• Do not use the appliance under the following circumstances:
• On or near a gas or electric hob, in heated ovens, or near open flames.
• On soft surfaces (such as carpets) or where it may tip over during use.
• Outdoors or in areas with high humidity levels.
• Disconnect the appliance immediately under the following situations:
• The juicing cone does not operate properly.
• The juicer is not being used.
• Before cleaning it.
• Do not use the product for more than 15 seconds or more than 10 cycles. Wait 15 seconds between uses.
• Do not let the product unsupervised while it is plugged in. Unplug it after use or when you leave the room.
• To ensure the correct operation of the device, cleaning and

maintenance tasks must be carried out according to this instruction manual. Turn off and unplug the appliance before moving and cleaning it.

- This product has been designed for soft fruits. Using it with hard fruits could damage it.

- No liability is accepted for any eventual damage or personal injuries derived from misuse or non-compliance with this instruction manual.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance includes a safety package to protect it during transport. Take the juicer out of the box and store the original box and other elements in a safe place, this will help you prevent product damage when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Plastic wrapping can cause suffocation hazards for babies and young children. Make sure all packaging materials are out of reach of children.
• Inspect all parts of the appliance for visual damage. Unwind the power cable completely and inspect it for damage. Avoid use if the citrus juicer or its cord have been damaged or are not working properly. In case of damage, contact the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec for advice, repairs or returns.
• Clean the product following the Cleaning and maintenance section indications.
• Make sure you have read and understood all instructions and warnings in this instruction manual.
• Pay particular attention to the safety instructions on previous pages.

3. OPERATION

1. Plug the power cord (fitted to the juicer base) to the power supply and remove the transparent cover.

2. Place the squeezing cone so that it adjusts to the fruit to be juiced. If you want to juice smaller citrus fruits, such as lemons, use the small juicing cone. To do so, pull on the large cone to remove it. They are mounted by a piece-fitting system.

3. Cut the citrus fruits into halves and press one of the parts against the juicing cone. The cone will rotate automatically. Repeat this proceeding as many times as necessary. Remember that the juicer features a two-direction rotating system that juices fruits to their maximum. This system switched the rotating direction each time the fruit is pressed against the cone.

4. Hold the container's handle with one hand and pour the juice into a different container.
5. This product is equipped with 2 juicing cones. If you want to juice large citrus fruits, use the large juicing cone by placing it on top of the smaller one.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Unplug the product and remove the filter and the juicing cones.
2. Hold the juicer's base with one hand and turn the container anticlockwise to detach it from the base.
3. Clean all the detachable parts (except the base) with soapy water. They can also be washed in the dishwasher.
4. Clean the juicer's base with a damp cloth to clean fruit residues. Do not immerse the product's base into water.
5. Assemble the transparent cover and store the product in a fresh, dry place.

6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
