- Connect your appliance to a 10/16 A socket fitted with an earth contact and check that your installation complies with the standards in force and is compatible with the power and voltage levels indicated on your appliance.
- We recommend you connect the appliance to an installation that has a device with a residual differential current with a breaking current that does not exceed 30mA.
- Never place your appliance either on or near an electric or gas cooking plate, or in an oven.
- Never leave the cable hanging in a position where someone might trip up on it.

- Never leave your appliance running unattended, and do not leave it within reach of children or people who are not responsible.
- In order to prevent the appliance from falling or being damaged, never place your appliance on supports that are unstable, not level, flexible or fragile (oilcloth, glass, varnished wood, etc.).
- Never place your appliance near a wall or under a cupboard (the steam could damage them).
- Only use the steam baskets provided with this appliance.
- Do not use any liquid other than water in the tank. Cord: Before you use the unit each time, you must examine the power supply cable carefully. If it is damaged, you must not use the appliance. In order to avoid any danger, the cord should only be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service, or a qualified person approved by the manufacturer. This appliance complies 89/336/EEC and 93/68EEC. with Directives 73/23/EEC,
- In order to avoid any danger, do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor or if it shows visible signs of damage. Should this have happened, return it to the after-sales service.
- Do not touch the baskets and the cover when cooking is under way as they are hot.
- Never remove the cover during cooking.
- Never use the appliance without the juice collector.
- Be careful of the steam that comes out of the baskets and the cover - it is very hot.
- To remove the cover when cooking has been completed, use kitchen gloves and be careful. Proceed slowly, allowing the steam to escape gently, as it is very hot and could burn you.
- Unplug your appliance when cooking has been completed.
- Never submerge the appliance in water.
- Do not move your appliance when it is operating.
- Before any cleaning operation, unplug the appliance and let it completely cool down.
- This appliance is solely for domestic use. Any professional use that is inappropriate or does not comply with the user instructions does not invoke either the warranty, or the manufacturer’s liability. 2 Start-up
- Place your product on a flat, stable surface.
- Once you have removed the cover, the baskets and the juice collector and have fitted the accelerator ring, pour water into the tank up to the maximum level.
- Put the juice collector in place.
- Prepare the steaming basket or baskets separately by placing the food to be cooked in them.
- Put any steam basket in place, or place them in order from smallest to largest if you want to use several.
- Put the cover securely in place.
- Connect the cord. Immediate cooking
- Switch on the On/Off button - the red indicator will light up.
- Select the cooking time chosen using the + and – buttons (minimum of 5 minutes, maximum of 1 hour 35 minutes).
- When the cooking time is up, a buzzer will sound. The green indicator will light up and your apparatus will automatically switch to warming mode.
- To switch off the warming mode, press the On/Off button (0/1).
- Always use kitchen gloves when handling the cover and the baskets, and when removing the cooked food. Start-up and use Delayed start
- Using the + and – buttons, set the cooking time chosen (minimum of 5 minutes, maximum of 1 hour 35 minutes).
- Press the “delayed start” button to set the cooking start time for 1 minute to 12 hours later.

- When unwrapping your appliance, make sure you carefully remove all the packing.
- Rinse the tank and wash the baskets and cover in warm water with a bit of dishwashing liquid.
Depending on the region where you live, the water will have a greater or lower level of calcium in it. You may have to remove scaling more frequently, depending on the amount of calcium. Be careful not to pour water on the electrical components. Never soak your appliance in water.
- Validate all the settings by pressing the validation button.
- The red indicator will light up and cooking will start at the preset time.
- When the cooking time is up, a buzzer will sound. The green indicator will light up and your apparatus will automatically switch to warming mode.
- To stop the warming mode, press the On/Off button (0/1). Always use kitchen gloves when handling the cover and the baskets, and when removing the cooked food. If necessary, you can add cold water while the apparatus is in operation, without removing the baskets. Fill the tank with a jug, via the external spout.(8) General warranty conditions The warranty covers any manufacturing fault or materials defect. It does not cover:
- Breakage of the apparatus due to dropping it or impacts suffered by it.
- Damage caused by abnormal use of the appliance or incorrectly plugging it in. This appliance is subject to a 2-year warranty (parts and labour). Appliances that have been used (even once) will not be exchanged, but they will be restored to perfect operating condition. In order to fully maintain your warranty rights, fill in section 2 of the warranty form and send it to our Warranty Service within 30 days of purchase. Carriage costs: During the warranty period, you will only have to pay for carriage costs for returning the product to the factory. We will send the product back to you at our expense as soon as possible. Please note that in the event of misuse, the warranty will be declared null and void. Professional or semi-professional use: This apparatus is not designed for such use and no warranty will be granted for it. Cleaning Always unplug your appliance and leave it to completely cool down before cleaning it. Never use abrasive sponges, solvents, scouring or caustic oven powder, which could seriously damage your product.
- External body: clean using a damp cloth, and dry properly.
- Tank: clean using a damp sponge.
- Clean all the other items in a dishwasher. Scaling removal: After every tenth time you have used it, fill the tank with distilled vinegar diluted in water (1/3, 2/3). Leave it to act for an hour (cold) and then operate it without the baskets or the diffuser, but with the acceleration ring, for 10 to 15 minutes. Switch it off, unplug it and let it cool down completely before emptying out the diluted vinegar into the kitchen sink. Rinse several times using tap water.
