2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

NOTE: charge the desktop fan before use.

1. Place the fan on a dry, level, and hard surface.
2. Plug the fan into a mains socket.
3. To switch on the fan, turn the knob to the right.
4. To switch it off, turn the knob to the left until the fan stops.

Speeds

• To select the fan speed, the more you turn the knob to the right, the higher the speed.
• On the contrary, the more you turn the knob to the left, the lower the speed.

Modes

Use the knob to choose one of the available modes.

• First, switch on the fan by turning the knob to the right.
• Press the knob once to activate Oscillation mode. The fan will start oscillating.
• If you press the knob again, Oscillation mode will be deactivated.
• Press the knob twice in succession to activate Natural mode.
• If you press the knob twice again, the fan mode will change to Normal mode.
• To switch off the fan, turn the knob to the left until the fan stops.

Charging cable

• Connect the Type C charging cable to the back of the fan. Fig. 3
• While the fan is charging, a red indicator light will switch on, as shown in Fig. 4.
• This indicator will switch off when the battery is fully charged.

Adjusting the tilt level

You can adjust the tilt level to your liking. To do so, you have to manually move the fan up or down until to an angle of 70° to adjust the desired tilt level.

WARNING

The appliance is equipped with a built-in, non-removable lithium polymer battery. Do not place near fire or immerse in water. There is a risk of spontaneous combustion, so do not expose it to the sun or leave it in a place where the temperature is too high.

NOTE: if the fan is not used for a long period of time, the battery may be damaged. We therefore recommend that you charge it at least once every three months. Charge it before using the fan.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Before cleaning the product, unplug it from the power socket and make sure that the fan is not running and that the blades are completely stopped.
2. Then, remove the grille to clean the dust. The front grille is the only part that can be removed. To remove it, turn it counterclockwise. See Fig. 6. You can clean it with a damp cloth.

NOTE: do not clean the main fan unit with water, simply use a dry cloth.

1. Once you have finished and the blades are completely dry, reassemble the grille in place.
