Select memory in Memory mode & Recall mode. Fast recall of memory location. Clear contents of the user memory in Recall mode.

GET STARTED IN 2 STEPS

1 - INITIAL SET-UP Insert 1 piece 9V alkaline battery (6LR61 or equivalent) not included, into the battery snap. The battery compartment is located at the back of the scale.

Conversion Unit Setting

If you wish to change the measuring units from metric to imperial or vice versa (i.e. KG/CM-ST/INLB/ IN), simply adjust the conversion switch located on the under-side of the scale.

OPERATION Insert 1 piece 9V battery into the battery snap. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface Position your feet to contact maximally the platform This ensures the best contact between your feet and the transparent contacts.

WEIGHT-ONLY OPERATION

1. With the automatic on function, simply step onto the scale; stand still while the scale computes your weight. 2. Your weight will be displayed on the LCD.

3. The scale turns off by itself after use.

Remove batteries is the product is not being used for a long time.

2 - SCALE INITIALIZATION The scale needs to be initialised at the first time of use, each time it has been moved or after battery replacement. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface.

Press briefly and sharply with your foot in the middle of the platform. The display will show “ ”, then the scale automatically turns off. Your scale is now ready for use. Note: it is recommended to take weight and body fat measurements at a constant time period daily for example: from 6 am to 7 am daily.

As soon as you hear the loud beep, step on the scale with bare feet.

BODY FAT AND TOTAL BODY WATER MEASURING OPERATION N A

1. Press the button to enter body fat mode.

The height figure will be blinking.

Press [ ] / [ ] button to increase/decrease height input. Press button to confirm height input. The age figure will be blinking.

Step on the scale with bare feet. Stand still while the weight is being computed. The screen displays the weight for 2 seconds and starts computing body fat and body water.

7. The screen displays “half zeros” to show the progress in measurement.

Press [ ] / [ ] button to increase/decrease age input. Press button to confirm age input. The gender icons will be blinking. 4. Set Gender: Press [ ] / [ ] button to toggle between male and female icons. Press button to confirm. The normal/athlete mode icon will be blinking. 5. Set Normal or Athlete Mode:

N A Press [ ] / [ ] button to toggle between normal (N) and athlete (A) mode icons.

N.B. : The Athlete Mode selection is only available to those aged 18 or older. For those age 17 or under, this step is automatically by-passed. Press button to confirm all the settings with 1 long beep. R icon will be displayed. The height and age figures will be sequentially displayed on the toggle screen.

The body fat and total body water measurements finish with 1 long beep.

Stay on the scale. The percentage body fat, the percentage total body water, and the weight will be displayed sequentially 4 times.

N A N A N A The scale turns off automatically after 8 seconds or after stepping off the scale.

The product features 4 personal memory settings.

This allows users to store and recall their own height, activity level, age and gender for frequently using. A. To Store Settings into Memory 1. Follow steps 1 - 5 in the section Body Fat and Total Body Water Measuring Operation. 2. Select Memory Location: Press [ ] / [ ] button to select the memory location (0 to 4) and the memory figure will be blinking. 3. Press to store the settings to the desired memory location. One long beep sounds when the setting is completed M icon will be shown on the screen, the data is memorized.

4. Then repeat operations 6 to 7 explained in the section Body Fat and Total Body Water Measuring Operation. B. To Recall Settings from Memory 1. Press and hold the button for 2 seconds when the scale is off. This activates the memory recall (Recall Mode). In Recall Mode, the screen displays the memory location, height, age, gender and normal/athlete selection on the screen sequentially after 2 seconds.

4. If the selected memory is occupied, press button to confirm your memory selection.

5. Then repeat operations section Body Fat and Measuring Operation.

PROBLEM SOLVING Display

Initialization error. Step off the scale.

Remove then reconnect the battery. Restart initialization as explained above.

Instability error. Repeat measurement again, stand still while computation is in process.

Overload warning. Remove the weight immediately otherwise permanent damage to the scale will occur.

3. Then repeat operations 6 to 7 explained in the section Body Fat and Total Body Water Measuring

Contact error. Impedance cannot be measured. Please make sure that you are standing still on the scale and maintain maximum contact between your feet and the metal contacts. You may need to moisten your feet to improve the contact.

1. Follow step 1 in the section of To Recall Settings from Memory

Measured body impedance is beyond the technical limit. Moisten your feet may help to improve the contact.

Percentage total body water is out of range. Moisten your feet may help to improve the contact.

2. Press both [ ] / [ ] button at the same time to clear the contents of the selected memory.

Low battery. Replace it.

C. To Fast-Recall Settings from Memory

1. While the power is off, press [ ] / [ ] to toggle between memory locations. The scale will show just the number of the location. Press to confirm the selected location. 2.

R icon will be displayed on screen. The screen displays the height, age, gender and normal/athlete selection on the screen sequentially after 2 seconds.

To turn the scale off, press and hold button for 2 seconds. Or, if no key has been pressed for 15 seconds, the unit turns off automatically.

WARRANTY This product is guaranteed for 2 years against material and manufacturing defects. During this period, such defects will be repaired free of charge (proof of purchase must be presented if the scale is under warranty). This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, improper use or negligence.
