GB Preparing the coffee

1. Fill an adequate amount of cold water for the desired number of cups into water container. The number of cups already filled can be seen on the outside of the water tank on both sides (maximum 12 cups). 2. Place a paper filter (size 1 x 4) into the filter funnel and fill it with coffee powder (approx. 1 teaspoon for 2 cups). 3. Place the pot on the hot plate and close the lid of the water tank. 4. Shift the switch to position I. (The LED in the switch lights up). The brewing process lasts approximately 10-15 minutes. At the end of the brewing process, please wait until the filter too is empty. Once there is no more coffee in the pot, the can be removed. 5. The appliance is equipped with a drop stop that prevents that the coffee drips on the hotplate when the can is removed. Put the can back into place and the stop is activated again. If you wish to keep the remaining warm, the switch must be left in the I position. The hotplate keeps the coffee warm until the switch is shifted to O. Setting of the Time Press the HOUR button. The time on the hour display will move from one figure to another each time the button is pressed. By keeping the button pressed, the setting is much faster, as the hour display will run automatically. To set the minutes proceed as described above with the only difference that the button marked with MIN needs to be pressed. Setting of the Timer Press the timer button and keep it pressed. Then proceed as described above for the setting of the time. Set the desired time for the timer with the HOUR and MIN buttons. The display now shows AUTO. Press the Start button. The LED on the Start button turns green. The appliance starts automatically at the set time. The LED in the Start button turns red. To stop timer mode, press the Start button twice. The LED turns red first and then is shut off completely. Switching Off The machine is switched off when the switch is in the O position. (The LED in the switch is off.)
