How to use the CLATRONIC IC 2800 ice crusher?

Make sure the switch is set to 0. Plug in the appliance, then turn it on before pouring ice cubes into the filling slot. Do not exceed the maximum quantity and never insert fingers or utensils into the crusher.

Can I crush partially melted ice cubes?

It is recommended to use solid ice cubes. Melted ice cubes can impair crushing and damage the appliance. Always use whole, hard ice cubes.

How to clean the ice crusher?

Always unplug the appliance. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth. The ice bowl and container are washable with soapy water. For the interior of the crusher, use a brush as the blades are sharp.

What to do if the appliance does not work?

Check the power outlet and ensure the switch is not stuck. If the problem persists, contact customer service as the appliance contains live parts that should not be repaired by the user.

What is the warranty period of the CLATRONIC IC 2800?

The warranty is 24 months from the date of purchase for material or manufacturing defects. Keep the receipt as proof.

Can I use flavored ice cubes or with fruit?

• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors (except if it is designed to be used outdoors). Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately. Do not put it in water.
• When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull on the plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
• Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always switch the machine off or remove the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead).
• To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that the cable is hanging low and that children do not have access to the appliance.

Operation

1. Take the device and the accessories out of the box. Remove any packaging materials that may be present. Then clean the accessories as described in the "Cleaning" section.
2. Attach the accessories as shown in the diagram.
3. Please ensure that the switch (3) is set to "0".
4. Connect the machine to a correctly installed 230V, 50 Hz power socket.

Important: First start the motor and only then add the ice cubes.

Do not overfill the crushing equipment.

Do not insert your fingers or other objects into the crushing gear!

There is a danger of injury.

1. Switch on the machine.
2. Fill the bowl (2) with ice cubes.

Now add ice cubes slowly to the grinding section through the filler tube.

Important: First start the motor and only then add the ice cubes.

Do not overfill the crushing equipment.

Do not insert your fingers or other objects into the crushing gear!

There is a danger of injury.

1. The crushed ice is collected in the collection vessel (1).
2. When you would like to stop the crushing process, switch the device to "0".
3. Transfer the crushed ice from the collection vessel to the vessels you wish to use.

Cleaning

• Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socket.
• For cleaning the outside of the machine use only a damp washing-up cloth.
• Do not use any sharp or abrasive detergents.
• The collection vessel, the bowl and the lid can be cleaned in soapy water.
• Please use a brush to clean the grinding mechanism.
• Caution: The grinding mechanism contains sharp edges. Danger of injury!
• Please allow all parts to dry thoroughly before storing the machine away.

This device has been tested according to all relevant current CE guidelines, such as electromagnetic compatibility and low voltage directives, and has been constructed in accordance with the latest safety regulations.

The device supplied by our Company is covered by a 24 month guarantee starting on the date of purchase (receipt).

During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its accessories *) ascribable to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated free of charge by repairing or, at our discretion, by replacing it. The guarantee services do not entail an extension of the life of the guarantee nor do they give rise to any right to a new guarantee!

Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.
