Make sure the DHW tank connection is enabled in the settings. If the system is not connected, the quick menu displays differently. Enable the option from the main menu.

How to activate silent mode?

In the quick menu, select the 'Silent mode' icon. The mode starts about 1 minute after activation. It reduces operating noise, ideal at night.

How to force emergency domestic hot water?

In the quick menu, select 'Force emergency DHW'. Activate it to use the tank's electric heater. Note: this mode deactivates if 'Force heating' is activated.

The remote control is locked, how to unlock it?

Press any key. The screen requests a 4-digit code. Enter the custom code. If forgotten, from the stop screen, hold ▲, ▼ and ↓ for 5 seconds, then select 'Reset' to reset the code to 0000.

How to program automatic start and stop?

Use the 'Weekly prog.' function in the quick menu. Select 'Yes' to enter clock programming. You can set up to 6 programs per day with time, mode and temperature. If your system has 2 zones, repeat for zone 2.

What to do in case of an error on the device?

Check the displayed error code. In the quick menu, select 'Initialize error codes' to restore previous settings. Make sure all units are stopped before. If the error persists, contact a professional.

How to defrost frozen pipes?

Use the 'Force defrost' function in the quick menu. Confirm with ↓. The system automatically defrosts the pipes. Only use in case of verified freezing.

What is the difference between normal heating and turbo heating?

The 'Turbo Heating' mode allows reaching the set temperature faster by temporarily increasing power. It starts about 1 minute after activation and deactivates automatically.

Where to find the serial number and purchase date for warranty?

The serial number is on the label on the side of the outdoor unit. Keep the purchase invoice as proof of date. For any claim, contact your installer or Panasonic after-sales service.

How to use the Quick Menu

After the initial settings have been completed, you can select a quick menu from the following options and edit the setting.

② Use ▲ ▼ ▶ ▷ to select menu.
③ Press to turn on/off the select menu.

• If the system is not connected to the tank (Tank Connection is OFF), the Quick Menu screen will be displayed as right. Make sure the Tank Connection is ON.

Force DHW

Select this icon to turn the Tank DHW on or off.

Press to confirm your selection.

• Force DHW is turned off.
• Force DHW is turned on.

Note:

• Force DHW is disabled when Force Heater is turned on.
• When Force DHW is turned off, operation & mode should change back to the previous memorized status.

Powerful

Select this icon to operate the heating/cooling system powerfully.

Press to confirm your selection.

(The powerful operation starts approximately 1 minute after is pressed.)

Note:

• Powerful is disabled when operation is turned OFF.

Quiet

Select this icon to operate quietly.

Press to confirm your selection.

(The quiet operation starts approximately 1 minute after is pressed.)

Force Heater

Select to force the Heater on.

Press to confirm your selection.

(The Force Heater mode starts approximately 1 minute after is pressed.)

• Force Heater is disabled whenever operation is already on and 'Disabled due to operation ON!' will be displayed.

Weekly Timer

Select this icon to delete (cancel) or change the pre-set Weekly Timer.

Press to confirm your selection.

Select "Yes".

• If you select "No", the screen will return to the Main Screen.

• Timer setup: Select Timer setup to edit the Weekly Timer.

• Timer copy: Select to copy a timer setting.

If all 6 patterns are not preset, this screen will be displayed.

② Set the hour and minutes of the Timer.
③ Select ON/OFF of the Timer.

Press to confirm your selection.

Select to restore the previous settings when error has occurred.
