Noise and vibration data:
Measured values for noise are determined in ac- cordance with EN 60745. The A-weighted noise level of the electrical power tool are typically:
Sound pressure level: 60 dB[A] Sound power level 71 dB[A]
Uncertainty K: 3dB Wear ear protection!
Evaluated acceleration, typical: Hand / arm vibration a, = 2,6m/s° Uncertainty K = 1,5m/s°
EN CZ The vibration level given in these
instructions has been measured in accordance with a standardised measurement procedure specified in EN 60745 and can be used to compare devices. Different uses of the device give rise to different vibra- tion levels and in many cases they may exceed the values given in these instructions. lt is easy to under- estimate the vibration load if the electrical power tool is used regularly in particular circumstances.
Note: If you wish to make an accurate assessment ofthe vibration loads experienced during a particular period of working, you should also take into account the intervening periods of time when the device is switched off or is running but is not actually in use. This can result in a much lower vibration load over the whole of the period of working

FN LAINE Read all the safety advice
and instructions! Failure to observe the safety advice and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and / or serious injury.
KEEP ALL THE SAFETY ADVICE AND INSTRUC- TIONS IN A SAFE PLACE FOR FUTURE REFER- ENCE! THE TERM “ELECTRICAL TOOL" USED IN THE SAFETY ADVICE REFERS TO ELECTRICAL TOOLS POWERED BY MAINS ELECTRICITY (BY MEANS OF À MAINS LEAD) AND ELECTRICAL TOOLS POWERED BY RECHARGEABLE BATTER- IES (WITHOUT A MAINS LEAD).
a) Keep your working area clean and well lit. Untidy or poorly lit working areas can lead to accidents.
b) Do not work with the device

2. Electrical safety
To avoid danger to life from electric shock:
a) The mains plug on the device must match the mains socket. The plug must not be mod in any way. Do not use an adapter plug with devices fitted with a protective earth. Unmodified plugs and matching sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.
General safety advice for electrical power tools
Avoid touching earthed surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ovens and refrig- erators with any part of your body. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed Keep the device away from rain or moisture. Water entering an electrical device increases the risk of electric shock.
n Do not use the m lead for
any purpose for which it was
ie not intended, e.g. to carry the device, to hang up the device or to pull the mains plug out of the mains socket. Keep the mains lead away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts ofthe device. Damaged or tangled mains leads increase the risk of electric shock. When working outdoors with an electri- cal power tool always use extension ca- bles that are also approved for use out. doors. The use of an extension cable suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock. Use a residual current device (RCD) for protection if operating the electri- cal power tool in a moist environment is unavoidable. The use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
Remain alert at all times, watch what you are doing and always proceed with caution. Do not use the device if you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. One mo- ment of carelessness when using the device can lead to serious injury.

Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves clear of mov- ing parts. Loose clothing, jewellery or long hair can become trapped in moving parts.
1f vacuum dust extraction and collec- tion devices are fitted do not forget to check that they are properly connected and correctly used. The use of these devic- es reduces the hazard presented by dust
Careful handling and use of electrical power tools
Do not overload the device. Always use an electrical power tool that is intended for the task you are under- taking. By using the right electrical power tool for the job you will work more safely and achieve a better result.
Do not use an electrical power tool if its switch is defective. An electrical power tool that can no longer be switched on and off is dangerous and must be repaired

General safety advice for electrical power tools / Operation
When not in use always ensure that electrical power tools are kept out of reach of children. Do not let anyone use the device if he or she is not famil- t or has not read the instructions and advice. Electrical power tools are dangerous when they are used by inexperienced people.
Look after the device carefully. Check that moving parts are working prop- erly and move freely. Check for any parts that are broken or damaged enough to detrimentally affect the functioning of the device. Have dam- aged parts repaired before you use the device. Many accidents have their ori- gins in poorly maintained electrical power tools. Keep cutting tools clean and sharp. Carefully maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to jam and are easier to control.
Use the electrical power tool, accesso- ries, inserted tools etc. in accordance with these instructions and
advice, and the stipulations drawn up for this particular type of device. In doing this, take into account the working conditions and the task in hand. The use of electrical power tools for purposes other than those intended can lead to dangerous situations.

© Applying wax/polish With the terry bonnet
1. Always use high quality products for waxing.
n Follow the working methods given on the packaging.
2. Apply the wax/polish direcily on the working surface of the terry bonne
D Spread the wax/ polish so that it forms a thin, even, complete coating over the terry bonnet Note: Too much wax does not necessarily achieve a better finish and you will have to spent more time later removing the coating.
3. Spread the wax evenly right up to the edge of the terry bonnet
© Switching on the device and waxing/polishing the paintwork
Note: The paintwork to be polished must be care- fully cleaned and completely dry. lf necessary, use a paintwork cleaner. Use products that are appro- priate for the demands on and condition of your paintwork. Heavily oxidised paintwork will require the use of a special cleaner. For this use a combined product [cleaner + wax].
1. Place the car polisher on the surface to be pol ished. Note: To avoid the splattering of wax or polish, do not switch the appliance on yet. Dab the appliance a few times at various points on the area to be buffed. In this way you can ensure that excess wax/ polish is once more distributed evenly over the terrycloth bonnet and the area to be buffed.
2. Take both appliance grips [I] firmly in your hands and switch the appliance on by pressing the ON/OFF switch [3] (see also Fig. B).
3. Guide the waxer/polisher evenly over the paintwork [see Fig. C). Note: Do not press on the waxer /polisherl The sel£weight of the car polisher alone applies sufficient pressure for the waxing / pol- ishing process.
4. Switch the appliance off before you remove it from the area being buffed. To do this, release the ON//OFF switch
cn Any difficult to reach corners or recesses may have to be completed later by hand. Take the terry bonnet [5] off the car polisher and use the bonnet for the corners and recesses.
© Polishing or removing wax with the synthetic polishing bonnet
Note: The wax/ polish must be allowed to dry on sufficiently to produce the best polishing performance. Otherwise any polish that is still fluid will be smeared by the polishing bonnet.
oi Use the synthetic polishing bonnet [6] for final polishing or removing the wax.
o When working, always follow the instructions for use of the wax/ polish.
