B HOW IT WORKS
Your Zibro Clima dehumidifier draws in air through the front panel onto a refrigerated cold grill. As the air passes over a cold surface, moisture condenses and collects into a front loading removable high capacity 5-litre water container. The drier, slightly warmer air is then expelled back into the room through the front upper grill. The Zibro Clima dehumidifier fights condensation, mould and dampness throughout the house. – And is also great for drying the laundry! Save energy: did you know it takes less heat to warm dry air than damp humid air!
C POSITIONING YOUR DEHUMIDIFIER
The first time that you use this dehumidifier please ensure that it has been standing for 24 hours in an upright position before it is switched on.
Your Zibro Clima dehumidifier will begin to protect your home from the harmful effects of excessive moisture as soon as it is turned on. Excessive moisture will travel throughout your home, in the same way that cooking smells spread to every room in the house. For this reason, the dehumidifier should be positioned in a central and clear location so that it can draw this moist air from all over the home. A warm hallway or landing is an excellent position for your dehumidifier. If possible, leave interior doors partly open. Alternatively, if you have a serious problem in one area you can begin by positioning the dehumidifier close to this area and later moving it to a more central point. Do not place directly against a radiator or other heat source.
For the most efficient use, outside doors and windows should be kept closed when the dehumidifier is operating.
When positioning your Zibro Clima dehumidifier, ensure that it is placed on a level surface clear of any obstacle that may limit the air movement.
If you move the unit, it should first be switched off and the water tank emptied.
D CONTROLS

ON/OFF
Turn the knob (III) clockwise to switch the unit on and to select the humidity control level. The unit is switched off by turning the knob all the way anticlockwise.
Humidity Control HUMISTAT
Turn the humidistat control knob (III) clockwise to maximum setting. The dehumidifier will switch on and run continuously. When a comfortable level of humidity is reached, turn the knob slowly anti-clockwise until the unit switches off. The dehumidifier will now automatically maintain the humidity at this level.
Fan Speed Control
The dehumidifier features a two speed fan control. When the unit is switched on, the fan will start running in low speed. Select the desired speed with this switch.
WATER FULL indicator
When the water container is full, the WATER FULL indicator light will illuminate and the unit will automatically shut off. It will also beep several times to advise you hat the tank is full. See instructions for emptying the water container. The WATER FULL indicator light will also illuminate and the unit will beep if the water container has not been properly inserted or if it has been removed.

IMPORTANT
Remember not to use this dehumidifier in temperatures below 4°C .
E EMPTYING THE WATER CONTAINER
When the water container is full the WATER FULL indicator light (I) will illuminate and the unit will automatically shut off. Wait a few minutes to allow the water to finish draining into the water container.
To remove the water container, disconnect from the mains, pull out and lift the water container by the handle and carry it away for emptying. Gently replace the container and close the lower front panel. When the tank is properly inserted, both the hole and the float mechanism in the container will be located directly beneath the drainage spout and the WATER FULL indicator light(I) will go out.

It may be more convenient to set up the dehumidifier for continuous drainage with the following procedure:
- Remove the water container from the unit;
- Click the supplied spout (the long end depressing the microswitch) firmly in place;
- Place an appropriately sized drainage pipe over the spout inside the housing;
-
Place the other end of the pipe in a drain, ensuring that:
-
it is not twisted, folded, or otherwise likely to obstruct the water flow,
- the spout is not under the water level of the drain;
There must be a gradual downward slope from the spout to the drain.

NOTE
In very cold weather conditions precautions should be taken to prevent the drainage pipe from freezing.
To return to water container use, take the spout out and replace the water container.
G CLEANING
Disconnect from the mains power supply.
Clean regularly with a common, non abrasive, household detergent, without solvents.
