1. Important safety instructions
- Follow instructions for use. This document provides important product operation and safety information regarding this device. Please read this document thoroughly before using the device and keep for future reference.

This device may only be used for the purposes described in these instructions. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage caused by incorrect application.

Never touch the metal mesh in the nebulising head with your hands or foreign objects.
- This device should only be used with original accessories as shown in these instructions.
- This device comprises sensitive components and must be treated with caution. Observe the storage and operating conditions described in the «Technical specifications» section.
- Only use the medication prescribed for you by your doctor and follow your doctor's instructions with regard to dosage, duration and frequency of the therapy.
- Not intended for use in an oxygen rich environment, for use with flammable agents, nor flammable anaesthetics.
- The USB-C cable is for recharging only, the adapter must comply with IEC 60601-1 standard requirements.
- Do not use in dusty or dark places.
- Do not keep the medicine in the liquid cup for a long time or carry it.

Do not use this device near high frequency electromagnetic transmitters. Electromagnetic interference exceeding the requirements of IEC 60601-1 may affect the performance of nebuliser.

If the device is stored in an overheated or supercooled environment before use, the device shall be placed in a normal temperature environment 2 hours in advance to make it consistent with the indoor temperature during use before reuse.
- The nebuliser is not suitable for respiratory anesthesia and artificial respiration system.
- If the patient has diabetes or other medical conditions, consult a doctor before using this device.
- If the patient has contusion, burn, inflammation, trauma or sensitive site, please do not use this device.
- If the patient is not feeling well during use, please stop using it and consult your doctor immediately.
- The use of suspended or high concentration liquid is prohibited.
- The device can be used by multiple persons, but the accessories which are in direct contact with the human body (mouthpiece, mask) must only be used by the same person to prevent cross-infection.
- Do not use this device if you think it is damaged or notice anything unusual.

Ensure that children do not use this device unsupervised; some parts are small enough to be swallowed. Be aware of the risk of strangulation in case this device is supplied with cables or tubes.

Use of this device is not intended as a substitute for a consultation with your doctor.

No modification to the device is permitted.
2. Preparation before use
Remove all packaging materials and ensure that all accessories are complete.
Prior to using the device for the first time, we recommend cleaning it as described in the section «Cleaning and disinfecting»
This device uses a rechargeable battery inside or USB cable as power source. Ensure the battery is charged before use, or connect the USB cable to the device and a power bank or adapter with proper USB port. Power bank and adapter are NOT included in the set of this product. Please use an adapter compliant with IEC 60601-1standard only. The indicator light flashes blue during recharging. When the battery is fully recharged, the indicator light stays on. The device can work for more than 60 minutes after being completely recharged. If the product is not used for a long time, it should be recharged every 6 months.

When the indicator light flashes this indicates that the power is insufficient, please charge; when charging, please make sure that there is no drug or water in the liquid cup, to prevent leakage. Please put the unit away from any heat source when charging.
3. Using the device for the first time
-
Snap the nebuliser lock ①-B upward to open the nebulising head ⑫.
-
Fill the medication as per your doctor's instructions into the drug storage area ⑬. Ensure that you do not exceed the maximum level.
- Press the nebuliser lock ①-B downwards; a «click» sound indicates that the nebuliser cover ①-A is closed correctly.
- Do not use high viscosity, volatile drugs, as this may cause damage to nebuliser diaphragm.
- Do not use oily drugs; only alcohol-containing water-soluble products and saline diluted drugs can be inhaled, otherwise bronchospasm may occur.
- The inhalation time for each treatment should not exceed 25 minutes.
- Connect the mouthpiece or a face mask as shown in picture ⑭ and ⑮.
- The mouthpiece ⑦ gives you a better drug delivery to the lungs.
- Choose between adult ⑨ or child face mask ⑧ and make sure that it encloses the mouth and nose area completely.

Start the nebulisation by pressing the ON/OFF button ④; the indicator light ⑤ will light up green.

A green light indicates speed level 1, which is a normal speed mist.
- Press the ON/OFF button ④ a second time, and a solid blue indicator light ⑤ will show, indicating speed level 2, which is a faster speed mist.
- Breathe in and out calmly during the therapy. Sit in a relaxed position with the upper body upright. Do not lie down while inhaling. Stop inhalation if you feel unwell.
- To stop the nebulisation during the therapy, press the ON/OFF button ④; otherwise the device will automatically shut down, when the liquid has been fully used.
- Remove the mouthpiece ⑦ or mask ⑨ / ⑧.
- Press the nebulising head opening button ⑪ on the rear of the main unit ③ and gently pull the nebulising head ① out.
- Empty the remaining medication from the nebuliser and clean the device as described in the section «Cleaning and disinfecting»
When the liquid is getting low, you may tilt the device a little towards yourself in order to make full use of the residual liquid.
The maximum tilting angle of the device is 45° while nebulising.



Do not shake the device during operation. This may cause the device to malfunction and/or shut down.
4. Cleaning and disinfecting
Cleaning
Before and after each use of the device, please clean and disinfect all necessary parts. The atomizing components shall be specially assigned for special use, and cross use is not allowed.
- Remove the lower fitting and the liquid cup before cleaning.
- The main unit is not waterproof, the shell only needs to be wiped with a soft, dry cloth.
- Accessories cleaning (mouthpiece, masks): clean with warm soapy water (not exceeding 80°C) or mild detergent, and then rinse thoroughly with tap water.
- Nebulising head cleaning: inject about 8 ml warm water (50 \~ 60 °C) into the liquid cup, restart and spray the water in the liquid cup, and then clean it with pure water.
After cleaning, put all the accessories separately in a clean and dry place to dry.

- Do not use microwave oven and other high temperature equipment to dry products and accessories.
- Do not use fabric or cloth to clean the nebulising head to avoid affecting the atomization effect.
Disinfecting
After each use, it is necessary to disinfect the components such as the nebulising head, the masks, the mouthpiece. The method is as follows:
Thermal disinfection
Do not boil the main unit, nebulising head and masks. Put the mouthpiece in boiling water for 5 – 10 minutes for disinfection. The mouthpiece should be removed and dried after the disinfection.
Alcohol disinfection
Remove the nebulising head from the main unit and pour about 2 – 5ml alcohol (75%) into the liquid cup. Close the liquid cup. Keep the alcohol in the liquid cup for at least 10minutes. In order to play a more effective role in disinfection, please gently move the alcohol in liquid cup. Then use pure water to repeat the above practices. The surface of the mouthpiece and mask should be thoroughly swept with 75% medical alcohol, then keep in a clean environment to dry.

CAUTION: In case of infection, all accessories must be disinfected before use, and medical alcohol or boiling water shall be used for disinfection, and it is important to keep in mind that the disinfectant residue must be removed from the accessories, so as to ensure the next safe use. Rinse thoroughly with pure water and dry in a ventilated area before storing.

CAUTION: The cleaning and disinfection of the device shall be only carried out during shutdown.
5. Maintenance, care and service
- If not used for a long time, it is recommended to clean the device before using again.
- The device does not require professional hygiene. We recommend replacing the nebulising head, face masks and mouthpiece every 6 months (depending on the usage). Order all spare parts from your dealer or pharmacist, or contact Microlife-Service (see foreword).
6. Malfunctions and actions to take

7. Guarantee
This device is covered by a 2 year guarantee from the date of purchase. During this guarantee period, at our discretion, Microlife will repair or replace the defective product free of charge.
Opening or altering the device invalidates the guarantee. The following items are excluded from the guarantee:
• Transport costs and risks of transport.
- Damage caused by incorrect application or non-compliance with the instructions for use.
• Damage caused by accident or misuse.
- Packaging/storage material and instructions for use.
- Regular checks and maintenance (calibration).
- Accessories and wearing parts: Batteries, masks, mouthpiece.

Compensation is limited to the value of the product. The guarantee will be granted if the complete product is returned with the original invoice.
