7 First steps for installation
Unscrew the 2 or 4 screws (A) on the back of the washing machine and remove the 2 or 4 spacers (B), as shown in drawing 1. Then, as shown in drawing 2, cover the 2 or 4 holes using the caps in the instruction bag.

8.1 Adjusting the feet before mounting the cabinet door
Level the washing machine by using a spanner to turn the feet nuts clockwise/anti-clockwise. Adjust the feet to the desired height, making sure they adhere firmly to the floor (drawing 1). Finally, lock the nuts (drawing 2).

NOTE: The four adjustable feet allow the height of the washing machine to be adjusted from 820 mm to a maximum of 840 mm. Once the adjustment is complete, be sure to lock the locknut against the bottom of the plate to ensure stability.

8 Washing machine installation instructions
8.2 Checking the correct height of the washing machine inside the cabinet
Measure the distance, if any, between the start of the cabinet doors and the highest point of the washing machine, then mark this exact measurement on the cabinet door to be attached to the washing machine.
This will enable you to position the installation template correctly before drilling the cabinet door in step 8.3.

8.3 Positioning the installation template on the back of the cabinet door
Once the opening direction of the cabinet door has been established, lay the installation template provided against the back of the cabinet door. Using a set square, mark with a pencil the exact measurement taken in step 8.2 and position the installation template following the direction of the arrows. Secure it with paper tape before proceeding to step 8.4.

9 Water and electrical connection
9.1. Connecting the inlet hose
Connect the inlet hose supplied with the washing machine to the back of the appliance. Then connect it to the tap using only the hose supplied with the washing machine.
WARNING: Do not re-use old hose-sets.

NOTE: Some models may include one or more of the following features:
- HOT&COLD: Set-up for connection to the water mains with hot and cold water, ensuring greater energy savings. Connect the grey hose to the cold water tap and the red hose to the hot water tap. The appliance can also be connected to cold water only; in this case, the start of some programmes may be slightly delayed.

- AQUASTOP: A safety device built into the inlet hose, which blocks the flow of water in the event of hose deterioration. If this happens, a red mark will appear in window "A", indicating the need to replace the hose. To remove the ring, press the anti-unscrewing device "B".

- AQUAPROTECT - INLET HOSE WITH PROTECTION: Should water leak from the primary internal hose "A", the transparent containment sleeve "B" will prevent the water from escaping, allowing the washing cycle to be completed. At the end of the cycle, replace the inlet hose by contacting the Technical Assistance Centre.

9 Water and electrical connection
9.2. Correct positioning of the drain hose
⚠ WARNING: When placing the washing machine against the wall, make sure that the drain hose has no bends or constrictions.

Appliance disposal
This appliance is marked in accordance with the European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
WEEE contains both pollutants (which can have a negative impact on the environment) and raw materials (which can be reused).
Therefore, it is necessary to subject WEEE to appropriate processing operations in order to safely remove and dispose of pollutants and extract and recycle raw materials. Every citizen can play a decisive role in ensuring that WEEE does not become an environmental problem.
It is enough to follow a few simple rules:
- WEEE should never be disposed of in unsorted rubbish bins.
- WEEE must be delivered to waste collection centres (also called ecological islands, recycling plants, ecological platforms...) set up by the municipalities or urban hygiene companies; in many places, a home pick-up service for bulky WEEE is also provided.
In many countries, when buying a new appliance, one can hand over the WEEE to the shopkeeper, who is obliged to collect it free of charge ("one-for-one" collection) as long as the new appliance is of the same type and performs the same functions as the returned one.
