- Upon connecting the water heater to the electric mains, care must be taken to connect the safety lead.
- If there is a possibility that the temperature in the premises may fall below 0°C, the water heater must be drained (observe the procedure outlined in section V, subsection 2 "Water heater's piping connection").
- During use (water heating mode), dripping of water from the safety return-valve's drainage opening is normal. The opening must be left open to the atmosphere. Measures should be taken to lead and collect the leakages in order to prevent damage, ensuring that this is in conformity with the requirements described in p. 2 in paragraph V.
The valve and the elements linked to it must be protected from freezing.
- During heating, the appliance may produce a hissing noise (the boiling water). This is common and does not indicate any damage. The noise increases over time due to the accumulation of limestone. To remove the noise, the appliance must be cleaned of limestone. This type of cleaning is not covered by the warranty.
- In order to ensure the water heater's safe operation, the safety return-valve must undergo regular cleaning and inspections for normal functioning (the valve must not be obstructed), and for regions with highly calcareous water, it must be cleaned of accumulated lime scale. This service is not provided under warranty maintenance.
All alterations and modifications to the water heater's construction and electrical circuitry are forbidden. If such alterations or modifications are established during inspection, the appliance's warranty shall be null and void. IV. DESCRIPTION AND PRINCIPLE OF WORK
The appliance consists of a body, flange at the bottom side / for water heaters intended for vertical mounting
- The body consists of a steel reservoir (water tank) and housing (outer shell) with thermal insulation placed in-between made of ecologically clean high density polyurethane foam, and two pipes with thread G 1/2" for cold water supply (marked by a blue ring) and hot water outlet pipe (marked by a red ring).
- The flange is outfitted with: electric heater and thermostat. The water heaters with glass-ceramics coating are outfitted with a magnesium protector.
The electric heater is used for heating the water in the tank and is managed by the thermostat, which automatically maintains the set temperature.
The thermostat has a built in overheating safety device, which switches off power to the heater when the water temperature reaches excessive values. In the event this device is tripped, please consult a service station.
The magnesium protector provides additional corrosion protection to the internal tank of heaters outfitted with glass-ceramics coating.
The safety-return valve prevents the appliance's complete emptying in the event the cold water supply is interrupted. The valve protects the appliance from pressure increases higher than the allowed value during heating (pressure increases upon an increase of temperature), via release of excess pressure during the drainage opening.

ATTENTION! The presence of other /old/ safety return-valves
may lead to a breakdown of your appliance and they must be removed.

ATTENTION! The safety-return valve cannot protect the
appliance in the event of water mains pressure in excess of the acceptable pressure stated for the appliance.
V. MOUNTING AND SWITCHING ON

ATTENTION! Qualified
technicians must perform all technical and electrical assembly works. A qualified technician is a person who has the competence according the regulations of the country in question.
Mounting
We recommend the mounting of the device at close proximity to locations where hot water is used, in order to reduce heat losses during transportation. In the event the device is mounted in a bathroom, the selected location must exclude the possibility of water spray contact from the showerhead or portable showerhead attachment.
Special Cautions
- The supply socket must be earthed reliably. The rated current of the socket shall not be lower than 10A. The socket and plug shall be kept dry to prevent electrical leakage. Inspect frequently whether the plug contacts well with the socket. Inspect method is as follows: insert the power supply plug into socket, after using for half an hour, shut down the unit and pull the plug out, and inspect the plug whether it scalds hand. If it scalds (over 50°C), please
change another well-contacted socket to avoid the plug being damaged, fire or other personnel accidents result from bad-contacting. 2. The installation height of the supply socket shall not be lower than 1.8m. 3. The wall in which the electrical water heater is installed shall be able to bear the load more than two times of the heater filled fully with water without distortion and cracks. Otherwise, other strengthening measures shall be adopted.
- The pressure relief valve attached with the heater must be installed at the cold water inlet of this heater (see Fig.1), and make sure it is not exposed in the foggy. The water may be outflowed from pressure relief valve, so the outflow pipe must open wide in the air; The pressure relief valve need to be checked and cleaned regularly, so as to make sure it will not be blocked.

FIG 1
- When using the heater for the first time (or the first use after maintenance), the heater can not be switched on until it has been filled fully with water. When filling the water, at least one of the outlet valves at the outlet of the heater must be opened to exhaust the air. This valve can be closed after the heater has been filled fully with water. During heating, there may be drops of water dripping from the pressure release hole of the multifunction valves. This is a normal phenomenon. If
there is a large amount of water leak, please contact customer care center for repair. This pressure release hole shall, under no circumstances, be blocked; otherwise, the heater may be damaged, even resulting in accidents.
- The drainage pipe connected to the pressure release hole must be kept sloping downwards. Since the water temperature inside the heater can reach up to 75°C, the hot water must not be exposed to human bodies when it is initially used. Adjust the water temperature to a suitable temperature to avoid scalding.
- Unscrew the thread screw on the multifunction safety valve, and lift the drain handle upwards (see Fig. 1) to drain the water from the inner tank.
If any parts and components of this electrical water heater are damaged, please contact the customer care center for repair.

VII. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
- This electrical water heater shall be installed on a solid wall. If the strength of the wall cannot bear the load equal to two times the total weight of the heater filled fully with water, it is then necessary to install a special support.
In case of hollow brick walls, ensure to fill them with cement concrete completely.
- After selecting a proper location, determine the positions of the two installation holes for the expansion bolts with hooks (determined according to the specifications of the product you select). Make two holes in the wall with the corresponding depth using a chopping bit that matches the size of the expansion bolts supplied with the machine. Insert the screws, make the hooks point upward, tighten the nuts to fix them firmly, and then hang the electric water heater on them (see Fig. 2).

- Install the supply socket in the wall. The requirements for the socket are as follows: 250V/10A, single phase, three electrodes. It is recommended to place the socket on the right above the heater. The height of the socket from the ground shall not be less than 1.8m (see Fig. 3).

- If the bathroom is too small, the heater can be installed at another place without sun-scorched and rain-drenched. However, in order to reduce the pipeline heat losses, the installation position of the heater shall be as close as possible to the location where it is used.
FIG 3
Pipelines Connection
- The dimension of each pipe part is G1/2"; The maximum pressure of inlet should use Pa as the unit; The minimum pressure of inlet should use Pa as the unit.
- Connection of pressure relief valve with the heater on the inlet of the water heater.
- In order to avoid leakage when connecting the pipelines, the rubber seal gaskets provided with the heater must be added at the end of the threads to ensure leak-proof joints (see Fig. 4).

- If the users want to realize a multi-way supply system, refer to the method shown in Fig. 5 for connection of the pipelines.

Please be sure to use the accessories provided by our company to install this electric water heater. This electric water heater cannot be hung on the support until it has been confirmed to be firm and reliable. Otherwise, the electric water heater may drop off from the wall, resulting in damage to the heater, or even serious accidents of injury. When determining the locations of the bolt holes, it shall be ensured that there is a clearance of not less than 0.2m on the right side of the electric heater, to facilitate the maintenance of the heater, if necessary.
VIII. USAGE
- First, open any one of the outlet valves at the outlet of the water heater.
- Then, open the inlet valve. The water heater gets filled with water.
- When water flows out of the outlet pipe, it implies that the heater has been filled fully with water, and the outlet valve can be closed.

During normal operation, the inlet valve shall be always kept open.
- Insert the supply plug into the supply socket; the two indicator lights will light up at this time. The thermostat will automatically control the temperature.
- When the water temperature inside the heater has reached the set temperature, it will switch off automatically. When the water temperature falls below the set point, the heater will be turned on automatically to restore the heating.
IX. PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
Under normal use of the heater, under the influence of high temperature, lime scale (the so-called lime scale layer) is deposited upon the heating element's surface. This worsens the heat exchange between the heating element and water. The heating element's surface temperature increases (as in boiling water). The thermoregulator begins to switch on and off more frequently. A "deceptive" activation of the thermal protection is possible. Due to these facts, the manufacturer recommends preventive maintenance of your water heater every two years by an authorized service center or service base. This protective maintenance must include cleaning and inspection of the anode protector (for water heaters with glass-ceramic coating), which shall be replaced with a new one if need arises. Each preventive maintenance of the said type must be entered in the appliance's warranty card and must outline the date of performing the preventive maintenance, the company performing the preventive maintenance, the name of the person performing the preventive maintenance, and the signature.
Non-fulfillment of the above requirement may terminate the free of charge maintenance of your boiler. In order to clean the appliances, use a damp cloth. Do not clean with abrasive or solvent content detergents. Do not pour water over the appliance.
Before starting cleaning or maintaining the equipment, be sure to disconnect the device from power supply.
The manufacturer does not bear the responsibility for all consequences caused by not obeying the instructions given hereby.
If the heater is not used for a long time, especially in regions with low air temperature (below 0°C), it is necessary to drain water from the heater to prevent damage to the water heater due to water freezing in the internal tank (refer to Cautions in this manual for the method to drain away the water from the inner container).
Thermal switch
The water heater is equipped with a thermal switch, which cuts off power supply of the heating element upon water overheating or its absence in the water heater. If the water heater is connected to the mains, but water is not heated and the indicator doesn't light up, then the thermal switch was switched off or not switched on. To reset the water heater to the operating condition, it is necessary to:
- Cut off the heater power supply.
- Remove the plate of the side/lower cover.
- Press the button located at the center of the thermal switch, see Fig. 6.
- If the button is not pressed and there is no clicking, then you should wait until the thermal switch cools down to the initial temperature.

FIG 6
WARNING
Non-professionals are not allowed to disassemble the thermal switch to reset. Please contact professionals to maintain. Otherwise our company will not take responsibility if any quality accident happens because of this.
