FR Mode d'emploi
Before using the appliance, read the following instructions carefully and keep this manual for future reference. The appliance must only be used by persons familiar with these instructions.
Connection to the mains supply
Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label of the appliance. This product complies with all binding CE labelling directives.

Important safety instructions
• In order to avoid hazards, and to comply with safety requirements, repairs to this electrical appliance or its power cord must be carried out by our customer service. If repairs are
needed, please send the appliance to our customer service department (see appendix).
- To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the appliance with liquids or immerse it.
- Clean the attachments in the rinse water or dishwasher. For detailed information on cleaning the appliance, please refer to the section Cleaning and care.

- in case of any malfunction,
- during cleaning,
- when there is no supervision,
after each cycle of use.

The appliance may only be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance and fully understand all dangers and safety precautions involved.
Children must not be permitted to operate the appliance. The appliance and its power cord must be kept well away from children.
Children must not be permitted to play with the appliance.
This appliance is intended
for domestic or similar applications, such as - in staff kitchens in shops, offices and other similar working environments, - in agricultural working environments, - by customers in hotels, motels etc. and similar accommodation, - in bed-and-breakfast type environments.
- Caution: Keep any packaging materials well away from children – such materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. of suffocation.
- Every time the appliance is used, the main body including the power cord as well as any attachment fitted should be checked thoroughly for any defects. Should the appliance, for instance, have been dropped onto a hard surface, or if excessive force has been used to pull the power cord, it must no longer be used: even invisible damage may have adverse effects on the operational safety of the appliance.
- Caution: After switching off, always wait until the motor has come to a complete standstill. Do not touch any moving parts.
- Do not allow the housing or the power cord to touch hot surfaces such as
hotplates, or come into contact with any open heat sources.
- When removing the plug from the wall socket, never pull on the power cord; always grip the plug itself.
- Never touch the mains plug with wet hands.
- Do not touch any moving parts during operation, and do not insert any implements (e.g. dough scrapers or cooking spoons) into the bowl unless the motor has come to a complete standstill.
- Keep your hair, hands, and loose clothing away from moving parts, openings, and vents to avoid entanglement.
- No responsibility is accepted if damage results from improper use, or if these instructions are not complied with.
Before using for the first time
Before the appliance is used for the first time, all attachments and accessory parts must be cleaned as described in the section Cleaning and care.
Short-term operation
The hand blender is designed for a short-time operation of 5 minutes (KB 5). This means that the hand blender should not be operated continuously for more than 5 minutes. Switch off the appliance afterwards and allow the motor to cool down for 20 minutes.
Switch settings
- The hand blender features a stepless switch.
- Position 0: Off
- Bottom switch position: For mixing light and liquid mixtures or when stirring in any ingredients • Medium & top switch position: For stirring and kneading
- For heavy and tough dough mixtures, the top switch position must be used.
Turbo setting
With the appliance switched on, maximum speed may be obtained for short periods by pressing the turbo button regardless of the speed level selected.
Selecting the attachments
Beater attachments
- Suitable for light and liquid mixtures such as crèmes, mixing dough, mashed potatoes, egg white or cream etc.
Dough hooks
- For heavy, kneading-type dough.
- The dough hook with the integrated plate must be inserted into the larger opening ( ) on the left, with the other dough hook inserted into the right opening ( ).
Operation
- Insert the selected attachments into the openings on the underside of the blender and push them gently upwards until they lock into place.
- Depending on the quantity of ingredients, use a sufficiently deep bowl.
- Any bowl, round container or glass is suitable, provided it is scratch-proof and the attachments can rotate freely inside.
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Once the attachments are fitted, take the blender in hand and position the attachments inside the container filled with the ingredients.
- Use the switch to turn the appliance on.
- Once processing is finished, or if you wish to interrupt the operation, switch off first and wait until the motor has come to a complete standstill before lifting the attachments out of the mixture.
Ejecting the attachments
- Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before any attachments are ejected.
- The attachments are automatically detached (△) when the release button is pressed.
Cleaning and care
- Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply.
- To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the appliance with liquids or immerse it.
- Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the housing.
- The beaters and dough hooks can be cleaned in the rinse water or dishwasher. After cleaning, dry thoroughly.
Recipe for testing institutes
350 g Flour
5 g Salt

200 ml Water
Blending procedure:
- 15 seconds on bottom switch position
- 30 seconds on medium switch position
- 3 minutes, 30 seconds on top switch position
