How to connect the BH20 earbuds to my phone?

Open the charging case and remove the earbuds. Enable Bluetooth on your phone, then select "Acme United BH20" from the device list. The earbuds will connect automatically after the first pairing.

What to do if the earbuds do not turn on?

Make sure the charging case is sufficiently charged. Place the earbuds in the case and check that the charging contacts are clean. If the problem persists, reset the earbuds by pressing and holding them for 10 seconds.

How to clean the BH20 earbuds?

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the outside of the earbuds. For the silicone ear tips, remove them and rinse with warm water, then dry completely before reattaching. Never use chemicals or water on the electronic parts.

What is the battery life of the earbuds?

The earbuds provide up to 6 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. The charging case provides 3 additional charges, bringing total battery life to approximately 24 hours.

Are the BH20 earbuds water resistant?

Yes, they are IPX4 certified, meaning they resist sweat and splashes. They are not designed to be submerged in water.

Can I use the earbuds independently?

Yes, each earbud can work independently for calls or music. Simply remove one earbud from the case and connect it to your device.

How to change the ear tips?

Gently pull the silicone ear tip to remove it from the earbud. Choose the appropriate size (S, M, or L) and push it firmly onto the earbud stem until it is securely attached.

Are the BH20 earbuds compatible with Android and iOS devices?

Yes, they are compatible with any Bluetooth device, including Android and iOS smartphones, tablets, and computers.

How to reset the earbuds to factory settings?

Place both earbuds in the charging case. Press and hold the touch buttons on both earbuds for about 10 seconds until the LEDs flash red and white. The earbuds will be reset and ready to pair.

What to do if the sound is distorted or choppy?

Make sure the earbuds are snugly inserted in your ears and the ear tips are clean. Check that you are within 10 meters of your device and no thick obstacles block the signal. Reset the Bluetooth connection if necessary.

Welcome to using this Bluetooth stereo headset, BH20. Please read this user's manual carefully before use.

Introduction

You can enjoy music wirelessly by using BH20. It has the following features:

Charging the headset

The headset comes with a built-in rechargeable battery, prior to using it, it is recommended to charge the battery fully for the first time.

When the headset has low power, a red LED flashes twice and the headset emits three "Dong" tones every 20 seconds. Please recharge the battery of the headset.

Connect the USB cable to a computer USB port and the USB cable plug to the charging jack of the headset. Red LED is on while charging. It takes about 3 hours to charge the battery fully. When charging is complete, the red LED will be off.

Note: In order to save power, the headset will turn off automatically if no devices can be connected after 5 minutes.

How to enter pairing mode

Remark: Pairing mode will last 2 minutes. If no devices can be connected after 2 minutes, it will return to standby mode automatically.

Pairing the headset with a Bluetooth cell phone

Prior to using the headset for the first time, you have to pair it with a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone. The pairing procedures are subject to different models of cell phones. Please refer to your cell phone user's manual for further information. The general pairing procedures are as follows:

1. Place the headset and Bluetooth cell phone where they are easily viewable, no more than 1 metre apart;
2. Enter the headset's pairing mode (please refer to "How to enter pairing mode);
3. Activate your cell phone's Bluetooth function and set your cell phone to search for Bluetooth devices within range, and select "BH20" from the list of devices shown;
4. According to the indication, enter password or PIN No.: "0000";
5. If prompted by your cell phone to connect, select "Yes" (this will vary among cell phone models);
6. After successful connecting, a blue LED flashes twice or three time every 4 seconds.

You should now be able to make and receive a call using the headset.

Remarks:

• If pairing has failed, please turn off the headset first and then re-pair according to steps 1\~6 mentioned above.
• After pairing is successful, the headset and the cell phone will remember each other, they will no need to re-pair next time. The headset can remember 8 paired devices. When the number of paired devices exceeds 8, the first one will be replaced.
• Every time the headset is turned on, it will connect to the last connected device automatically. If you want to pair it with other devices, please turn off the Bluetooth function of the last connected devices first and pair the headset with the new device according to steps 1\~6 mentioned above.

When the headset doesn't connect to a device supporting HFP, double click MFB button, it will connect to last connected HFP device.

When the headset doesn't connect to a device supporting A2DP, short press MFB button, it will connect to last connected A2DP device.

Remarks:

Before connecting to a Bluetooth device, please turn on the Bluetooth device's Bluetooth function. On some Bluetooth devices, take some Nokia cell phones for example, you have to allow automatic connecting in the cell phone's settings. Please refer to your cell phone's manual for further information.

Wearing the headset

The headband of the headset is foldable and retractable, please adjust according to the actual use. Letter "L" of the headset represents left ear, letter "R" of the headset represents right ear. Please wear the headset according to the indication.

Why does the red LED flash twice every 20 seconds?

The headset is low on power, it needs to be recharged.

Why isn't the red LED on when charging?

a) Please make sure the charger connects well with the headset;
b) When you didn't use the headset for a long time, the battery may dry up. At this time, you have to charge the battery for 30 minutes, and then the red LED will be on.

How far is the effective range between the headset and Bluetooth cell phone?

According to the Bluetooth standard, the max. controllable range of Class II headset is 10 metres. It varies in different environments.

What to do when my cell phone cannot search and find the headset?

The cell phone will not find the headset if the headset and cell phone are not under the pairing mode. Make sure the headset is in the pairing

mode and in the effective working range, and then the headset can be paired and connected.

Why can't I hear the voice from the headset?

a) Make sure the headset is turned on;
b) Ensure the volume of the headset is not too low or mute;
c) Make sure the headset connects well with your cell phone;
d) Ensure the distance between the headset and your cell phone is in the normal working scope.

Why is there no voice when making a call with the headset?

a) Make sure your cell phone is in a strong signal area;
b) Ensure the headset is in the function range.

Why can't I remotely control the pause, play, previous track and next track functions with the headset when playing music?

The function needs the Bluetooth device paired with the headset to support AVRCP (Audio / Video Remote Control Profile). Please make sure your cell phone or Bluetooth transmitter supports AVRCP profile.

Care and maintenance

Read the following recommendations before using the headset. Following these you will be able to enjoy the product for many years.

• Do not expose the headset to liquid, moisture or humidity to avoid the product's internal circuit being affected.
• Don't use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the headset.
• Do not expose the headset to extremely high or low temperature as this will shorten the life of electronic devices, destroy the battery or distort certain plastic parts.
• Don't dispose of the headset in a fire as it will result in an explosion.
• Don't expose the headset to contact with sharp objects as this will cause scratches and damage.
• Don't let the headset fall down onto the floor. The internal circuit might get damaged.
• Don't attempt to disassemble the headset as it may get damaged if you are not professional.

1. Warranty period

Warranty enters into force starting with the day when the buyer acquires the product from the seller. Warranty period is indicated on the package of the product.

2. Warranty conditions

The warranty is valid only by providing an original document of the product acquisition and this warranty sheet, which includes name of the product model, product purchase date, name and address of the seller.

If it is noticed during the warranty period that the product has faults and these faults where not caused by any of the reasons when the warranty is not applied as indicated in the paragraphs below, manufacturer undertakes to replace the product.

The warranty is not applied to regular testing, maintenance and repair or replacement of the parts which are worn out naturally.

The warranty is not applied if damage or failures occurred due to the following reasons:
