Safety In this chapter you receive important safety information regarding the handling of the appliance. This appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations. The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations. Requirements on the installation site For safe and flawless operation of the appliance, the installation site must comply with the following requirements: ■ When setting it up, place the appliance on a firm, flat and horizontal surface. ■ Do not operate the appliance in a hot, wet or very humid environment or close to combustible material. ■ The mains power socket must be easily accessible, so that the power cable can be easily disconnected in the event of an emergency. IMPORTANT ► For sealing use only film made from HDPE (high density polyethylene) and LDPE (low density polyethylene). ► The foil thickness must be between 30-50 μ (0.03 - 0.05 mm). The quality of the seal varies depending on the type and thickness of the film. ► Do not heat the supplied film, for example in a water-bath or similar. IMPORTANT Possible damage to the appliance. ► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaners as they may damage the surface of the housing. ► Do not use hard or sharp objects to remove the glue residues from the sealing wire . If you do, the sealing wire or the isolation could be damaged.
