IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury when using your appliance, follows these basic precautions.

DANGER or WARNING: risk of child entrapment.

Junked or abandoned appliances are dangerous ...even if they just sit in the garage a few days.

Before you throw away your old thermoelectric cooler: take of the door, leave the shelves in place so that children may not easily climb inside.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Never clean appliance parts with flammable fluids. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.

Do not store or use gasoline or any other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.

Do not store food in thermoelectric cooler, as interior temperature may not get cool enough to prevent spoilage.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Children should not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance should not be made by children without supervision.

- If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

- Disposing of the appliance

To avoid damage to the environment or human health caused by the uncontrolled disposal of electrical waste, recycle appliance responsibly to promote the reuse of material resources. Disposal must be done safely in public collection points provided for this purpose.

- Installation and commissioning:

The device must be installed on the ground, on a level surface, making sure that the vents are properly identified.

Never attempt to replace or repair part or component of the appliance by yourself, ask the aid of a professional and qualified staff if necessary.

- Handling

Always handle the appliance with care to avoid damaging it.

- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

  • the corners reserved for staff kitchens of shops, offices and other working environments;

    • bed and breakfast type environments;
    • catering and similar non-retail applications.

- Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload refrigerating appliances.

- Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant increase of the temperature in the compartments of the appliance.

- If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to prevent mould developing within the appliance.

- Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.

- Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.

- Do not use with a programmer, timer, separate remote-control system or any other device that switches on.

- WARNING: When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.

- WARNING: Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies at the rear of the appliance.

INSTALLATION YOUR THERMOELECTRIC COOLER

Before using your thermoelectric cooler:

  • Remove the exterior and interior packing
  • Before connecting the appliance to the power source, let it stand upright for approximately 2 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling during transportation.
  • Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.
  • Place your appliance on a floor that is strong enough to support the appliance when it is fully loaded. To level your appliance, adjust the front legs at the bottom of the appliance.
  • For recedes installation away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.) Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption.
  • Extreme cold or hot ambient temperatures may also cause the appliances not to perform properly. The unit must be placed in a room where the temperature is between 10-32°C.
  • The appliance is for indoor use only. Not designed for placement in garage or basement.
  • Caution: Please keep the appliance away from substance, which can cause ignition.

ELECTRIC CONNECTION

WARNING: Improper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical shock. If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by an authorized Products service center.

This unit should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this unit is equipped with a 2-pin plug which mates with 2-pin wall outlets to minimize the possibility of electrical shock. Do not cut or remove the ground wire from the power cord supplied under any circumstances.

Use of extension cords is not recommended.

This unit requires a standard 220-240V/50HZ electrical outlet with 2-pin plug.

The cord should be secured behind the thermoelectric cellar and not let exposed or dangling to prevent accidental injury.

Inside LED light can only be replaced by manufacturer.

USING YOUR THERMOELECTRIC COOLER

The thermoelectric cooler is built for operating under climate class N (16-32°C). However, for an optimal function as well as energy consumption, it is recommended to install the appliance in a place where the ambient temperature is between 16-25°C.

HOW TO SET TEMPERATURE

CONTROL PANEL FOR GZ-18S

There are three touch buttons on the control panel:

  • Press ⬆ and ⬇ to increase or decrease the setting temperature by 1°C (temperature range is 11-18°C).
  • Press button turns on or off the interior light.
  • Press ⚠ and ⚡ together and hold for 3 seconds to change temperature display from Celsius to Fahrenheit.

Note:

• This product is designed for maximum cooling of 14^ C below ambient temperature.
- When the ambient temperature is around 25^ C or less, unit can maintain a temperature range between 11-18^ C.

Upper Zone Lower Zone

There are six buttons on the control panel. When facing the control panel, buttons on the left side is to control upper zone, buttons on the right side is to control lower zone.

  • Press and to increase or decrease the setting temperature by 1^ C (temperature range for upper zone is 7 - 18^ C , and for lower zone is 11 - 18^ C ).
  • Press 🖼 button turns on or off the interior light.
  • Press and together and hold for 3 seconds to change temperature display from Celsius to Fahrenheit.

Note:

• This product is designed for maximum cooling of 14^ C below ambient temperature.
- When the ambient temperature is around 25^ C or less, unit can maintain a temperature range between 11-18^ C.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning your thermoelectric cooler

Unplug the thermoelectric cooler and remove your products inside.

Wash the inside with a warm water and baking soda solution. The solution should be about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of water.

The outside of thermoelectric cooler should be cleaned with mild detergent and warm water.

Moving your thermoelectric cooler

Remove all the items inside. Securely tape down all loose items inside your thermoelectric cooler. Turn the leveling legs up to the base to avoid damage. Tape the door. Be sure the thermoelectric cooler stays in the upright position during transportation.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

You can solve many common thermoelectric cellar problems easily, saving you the cost of a possible service call.

DISPOSAL

  1. Please remove the door before you dispose your thermoelectric cooler.
  2. Do not dispose this product as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such waste separately for special treatment is necessary.
  3. Information regarding disposal of the appliance
    Flammable insulation blowing gases should be disposed appropriately. Take the cabinet to a recycling plant for flammable insulation blowing gases.
