SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the multicooker, read this instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
- Use the multicooker for intended purpose only, as it is stated in this instruction manual. Mishandling the unit can lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property.
- Before using the unit, examine the power cord and the power cord connector located on the unit body closely and make sure that they are not damaged. Never use the unit if the power plug, power cord or power cord jack is damaged.
• Before switching the unit on make sure that voltage of the mains corresponds to unit operating voltage. - Power cord is equipped with "euro plug"; plug it into the socket with reliable grounding contact.

Do not use adapters for plugging the unit in.

Make sure that the power cord is properly inserted into the corresponding connector of the multi-cooker, and the power plug is inserted in the socket.
- Use only the supplied power cord, do not use a power cord of other units.
- Correct work of the unit is possible at the height of 0-2,000 meters above the sea level.
• Use only the removable parts supplied with the unit. - Place the unit on a flat heat-resistant surface away from sources of moisture, heat and open flame.
- Place the unit with free access to the mains socket.
• Use the unit in places with proper ventilation. - Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.
- Do not place the unit close to walls and furniture.
- Free space above the multicooker should be at least 30-40 cm.
- Avoid contact of the power cord with hot and sharp subjects. Avoid damaging the isolation of the power cord.
- Do not touch the multicooker body, power cord or power plug with wet hands.
- Do not immerse the unit, the power cord and power plug into water or any other liquids.
- If the unit was dropped into water, unplug it immediately, and only then take it out of water. Apply to the authorized service center for the further use of the unit.
- Do not insert foreign objects into steam release openings, and make sure that foreign objects do not get between the lid and body of the multicooker.
- Do not leave the operating unit unattended. Always unplug the unit when you are not using it.
- To avoid burns do not bend over a steam release opening. Be very careful when opening the multi-cooker lid during and after the cooking. Danger of burns by hot steam!
- When the multicooker is operating in “Roasting” mode, do not bend over the unit to avoid burns by splattering hot oil.
- Do not use the unit without installed bowl and also without liquid and/or products in the bowl.
- Follow all the recommendations for amount of dry products and liquids.
- Do not remove the bowl during operation.
• Do not cover the unit. - Do not carry the unit during operation. Use the carrying handle; unplug the unit and let it cool down preliminary.
- The body and inner parts of the unit heat up during the operation. Do not touch them with open body parts or bare hands, if you need to take the hot bowl out, use thermal protective potholders.
• Clean the unit regularly. - Do not allow children to use the unit as a toy.
- For children safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags, used as a packaging, unattended.
- Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!

- This unit is not intended for usage by children or disabled persons unless they are given all the necessary and understandable instructions by a person who is responsible for their safety on safety measures and information about danger that can be caused by improper usage of the unit.
• Children and disabled people can use the unit under supervision only. - Do not use the unit outdoors.
- Never pull the power cord, when disconnecting the unit from the mains, take the plug and remove it carefully from the socket.
- Never use the unit if the power cord or the power plug is damaged, the unit works improperly or after it was dropped. Do not try to repair the unit by yourself. Contact an authorized service center for all repair issues.
- Use the multicooker and its removable bowl (3) for the intended purposes only. Do not use the cooking bowl (3) with other heating units or cooking surfaces.
- Do not replace the bowl (3) with any other container.
- Always make sure that the heating element (13) surface and the bottom of the bowl (3) are clean and dry.
- Do not use the bowl (3) for mixing products. Never chop the products in the bowl (3) to avoid damage of non-stick coating.
- Never leave or keep any foreign objects in the bowl (3).
- Stir the products in the bowl (3) only with the spatula (17). You can also use wooden, plastic or silicon accessories.
- Do not use metal objects that can scratch the non-stick coating of the bowl (3).
• Do not tap on the inner surface of the bowl (3). - After cooking dishes with spices and seasonings wash the bowl (3) immediately (see chapter “Cleaning and care”).
- To avoid damage of the non-stick coating do not put the bowl (3) into cold water right after cooking; let it cool down preliminary.
- The bowl (3) is not intended for washing in the dish-washing machine.
Before the first use
- Unpack the unit, remove any stickers and package materials that can prevent unit operation.
- Place the unit on a flat, dry, heat-resistant surface away from water, moisture and open flame. Distance to the nearest surfaces should be at least 30-40 cm.
Attention! Do not place the unit near bath tubs, kitchen sinks or other containers filled with water.
Note: After unit transportation or storage at low temperature it is necessary to keep it for at least two hours at room temperature before switching on.
- Open the multicooker lid (6) by pressing the button (2).
- Remove the protection screen (5) by pressing the clamps (4).
- Press the steam valve (11) from the inner side of the lid and take it out, then dissemble it by turning its lower part to the position 🔒.
- Wash all the removable parts (steam valve (11) parts, protection screen (5), bowl (3), steam cooking basket(19), soup ladle (15), spatula (17) and measuring cup (16)) with a soft sponge with some neutral detergent, then rinse and dry.
- Wipe the unit body with a damp cloth. Let the unit dry.
- Combine the valve parts by matching ledges on the lower part with grooves on the upper one and turn the lower part clockwise till locking (position ☐).
- Install protection screen (5) and the steam valve (11) back to its place.
Using of the multicooker
- Put the necessary products into the bowl.
Note: Make sure that the products and liquids level doesn't exceed the maximal mark and is not lower than the minimal level. The maximal mark for porridges (except rice) is 3 l, maximal mark for other products and liquids - "CUP".
- Place the bowl (3) in the process chamber. Make sure that the bowl (3) is placed evenly and is in secure contact with heating element (13) surface.
Note:
Do not use the bowl (3) for washing cereals and chopping products, this can damage the non-stick coating.
Wipe the outer surface and the bottom of the bowl (3) dry before use. Make sure that there are no foreign objects, dirt and moisture in the process chamber and on the bottom of the bowl.
In the middle of the heating element (13) there is a temperature sensor (14). Make sure that the movement of the sensor (14) is not limited.
- If you steam products, insert the basket (19) with products and pour water in the bowl (3) so that boiling water doesn't reach the bottom of the basket (19).
- Close the lid (6) until click.
- Insert the power cord into the connector (8), insert the power plug (18) into the socket.
- To choose an automatic cooking program, press the "MENU" button (26) repeatedly till indicator of the corresponding program appears on the display. Indicator will light up on the display.
- Cooking time in different programs is set by default, but it can vary within the set range. To change cooking time press the "TIME" button (22), then set the time with the "HOURS" (20) and "MINUTES" (21) buttons (see Table 1).

Press the "START" button (25) to start cooking.

Watch the food during cooking, if necessary stir the products with a plastic soup ladle (15) or spatula (17), intended for using with non-stick coating.
Attention! To avoid burns by hot steam and oil be very careful when opening the multicooker lid (6), be very careful, don't bend over the unit and don't place your hands above the bowl (3)!
Don't use metal objects which can scratch the bowl (3) or make cracks.
Do not open the lid (6) during baking.
- When cooking is finished you will hear 5 sound signals, the unit will switch to the keep warm mode, operation time in this mode will be shown on the display starting from "Oh" and indicator 📋.
Note: Despite the unit keeps the ready dish warm for 12 hours, it is not recommended to leave the food in this mode for too long, because this may lead to changing of taste and color of the products.
Do not use the keep warm function for heating up the products.
After steam cooking do not remove products with bare hands, use kitchen tools.
- To switch the selected mode off press the "Keep warm/STOP" button (24).
Control panel buttons (10)
Every pressing of the control panel buttons (10) is accompanied by a short sound signal.
"HOURS» (20) and "MINUTES» (21) buttons
Use the buttons (20) and (21) to set the cooking time in programmed modes of the multicooker and to choose the cooking end time in “Delayed START” mode.
Current time setting
Press and hold the "HOURS" (20) or "MINUTES" (21) button for about 3 seconds, there will be a short sound signal, and digital time values will be flashing on the display (9).
Set the current time (24 Hr) by consequently pressing or holding the "HOURS" (24) and "MINUTES" (21) buttons.
To finish time settings press the "START" button (25).
The current time will appear on the display (9) and the divisional dots “:” will be flashing.
"Time» button (22)
This button is intended to enter the cooking time setting mode in your chosen program.
"Delayed START" Button (23)
You can preset the time by which the cooking process is to be finished with the help of this function. This function is available in the following modes: "Yogurt", "Porridge", "Stewing", "Soup", "Rice", "Steaming", "Cereal".
- Select one of modes indicated above by pressing the "MENU" button (26).
• You may change cooking time of the product.
Note: In delayed start mode product cooking time should be not less than the cooking time set by default. Press the "TIME" button (22), and then set the time with the "HOURS" (20) and "MINUTES" (21) buttons (see Table 1).
- Press the "Delayed START" button (23), sign will start flashing on the display.
- Press the "HOURS" (20) and "MINUTES" (21) buttons to set the cooking end time.
- Press the "START" button (25) to switch the delayed start function on, sign will be constantly flashing on the display.
Example
If the duration of the chosen program is 30 minutes, and the dish should be cooked in 3:30, the unit will remain in standby mode for 3 hours, and current time and “ ” sign will be shown on the display. When the cooking start time is reached, you will hear a sound signal, “ ” sign will disappear, countdown of the cooking time will start and the sign will appear. The cooking process will start and it will end up in 30 minutes.
"Keep warm/STOP» Button (24)
After the cooking ends the unit will be switched to the keep warm mode automatically. You can activate the keep warm function by yourself. To do this, press the "Keep warm/STOP» button (24) once, operation time in this mode starting from "0h" and indicator will be shown on the display.
The ready dish can be kept warm up to 12 hours. To switch the keep warm mode off press the "Keep warm/STOP" button (24) one more time.
Note: This function is not intended for heating up the products.
"START" Button (25)
Use the button to switch the program on and keep settings of the current time.
Press the "START" button (25) once to launch the chosen program, [icon] indication of the unit operation mode will light up on the display. When the set cooking time is up, the cooking mode will be switched off automatically and the «Keep warm» mode will be activated.
To switch the selected mode off press the “Keep warm/STOP” button (24).
"Menu» Button (26)
Press the button (26) repeatedly to choose one of the programmed cooking modes: "Rice", "Steaming", "Cereal", "Roasting", "Reheat", "Soup", "Baking", "Stewing", "Porridge", "Yogurt". You may change cooking time of the product. Press the "TIME" button (22), and then set the time with the "HOURS" (20) and "MINUTES" (21) buttons (see Table 1).

- In the "Roasting" mode the unit operates similarly to a stove, the user has to watch the food during cooking and switch the unit off by himself when the food is ready.

All recipes are non-regulatory as the required amount and proportions of the ingredients may vary depending on local peculiarities of the food and altitude above sea level.
"Yogurt" Button (27)
Make the tastiest natural yogurt of milk and leaven. Use yogurt or prebiotics as a leaven, which you can buy at the pharmacy. Yogurt making recipes in more detail you can look up in the «Recipe book».

- Pour leaven and milk in proportion 1:10 into the yogurt cups (28) and insert the cups into the bowl (3).
Note:
Use natural yogurt with minimum shelf-life free of additives and coloring agents as a leaven. You can make leaven by yourself from special bacteria leaven (you can find it in a drugstore or in health food stores) following the instructions attached.
- Choose the "Yogurt" program, set the cooking time in the range from 6 to 8 hours.
Attention!
Do not move the unit during its operation.
- Put the ready yogurt in the refrigerator in order to prevent bacteria growth.
You can add fruit, jam and honey in the ready natural yogurt.
Dough proofing
Also the temperature mode of this function is perfect for dough proofing.
Dough proofing is a stage of dough making which takes place right before baking. During the proofing the dough ferments intensively, restores its structure and grows in size significantly. One of the main conditions of successful process is absence of draughts and maintenance of constant temperature (about 40^ C) and air humidity level. In factory conditions special cabinets are used for this. You can create professional conditions for dough proofing at home, using the multicooker VT-4207 in the "Yogurt" mode.
Example:
400 g of flour
350 ml of milk (can be mixed with water)

1.5 teaspoons of yeast powder
1.5 tablespoons of butter
Mix all dry ingredients, then add milk. Whisk the mixture in a mixer thoroughly, put it into the bowl. Press the "Menu" button (26) and select the "Yogurt" mode. Time of yogurt making is within the range of 6-10 hours (6 hours by default).
To set the dough proofing time press the "TIME" button (22), and then set the "10:00" time with the "HOURS" button (20). Then press "MINUTES" button (21), "0:00" time indication will be shown on the display. Now set necessary dough proofing time using "HOURS" (20)
and "MINUTES» (21) buttons (recommended time is 1 hour). Press the "Start" button (25) to start operation of this mode.
Note: For the best result do not open the lid of the unit till the mode operation is finished.
Cleaning and care
- Unplug the unit and let it cool down.
- Wipe the unit body (1) and the lid (6) with a damp cloth.
- Wash all removable parts with a soft sponge with some neutral detergent, then rinse with running water.
- Dry the bowl (3), protection screen (5) and steam valve (11) carefully before installing them to their places.
- Never use abrasives and coarse sponges.
- Do not immerse the unit, the power cord and power plug into water or any other liquids.
