TROUBLESHOOTING
| PROBLEMS SOLUTIONS | |
| The vacuum-packer machine doesn't switch on | Make sure the machine is correctly connected to a socket with an earth connection.Make sure the power cable isn't damaged. Don't use the machine if the cable is damaged. |
| The vacuum-packer machine doesn't complete the creation of a vacuum in the bags | To take in and seal correctly, the edge of the bag must be on the sealing bar. Check that the open side of the bag is in the basin, and that the bag isn't wrinkled on the sealing bar.In the case of bags on a roll, make sure the first seal is complete and that there is no discontinuity in the seal. For the vacuum procedure to be carried out properly, the machine and bag must be clean, dry and free of residue. If necessary, clean the surface of the sealing bar and then try again. |
| The bag is no longer held up once it has been sealed. | Sharp objects may produce small holes in the bags. To avoid this, cover the sharp edges with a paper napkin. You are advised to round the edges of hard foodstuffs such as cheeses. Some foods may release gases if they aren't suitably treated or frozen before being vacuum packed, and this will cause them to deteriorate. If this happens, you are advised not to eat the food. Throw it away. |
| The vacuum-packer machine doesn't take the food up properly from the containers | The accessories tube may not be properly connected. Make sure the tube is fully inserted in the jar lid and the accessory connection, then try again.Leave enough space in the upper part of the jar.Make sure the jar and lid aren't damaged; small cracks sometimes form in the containers. When this happens, the container is no longer airtight and mustn't be used. |
| In some cases, a program might undergo an error and cause a machine fault | Switch the machine off and take the power cable out of the socket. Reconnect the power cable and switch the machine back on. |
DISPOSAL

The packaging of the appliance is made of recyclable materials. Dispose of the packaging in accordance with the environmental protection regulations.
Pursuant to Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), the crossed bin symbol on the appliance or its packaging indicates that the appliance must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its useful life. The user must therefore take the appliance to an appropriate recycling centre for electrical and electronic equipment. Alternatively, instead of handling the disposal, the user can hand over the appliance to the retailer when a new, equivalent one is
purchased. The user can hand over electronic products measuring less than 25cm to retailers of electronic products having a sales area of at least 400m^2 free of charge and with no obligation to buy. Appropriate separate collection for the subsequent procedure for the decommissioned appliance for recycling, which includes treatment and environmentally friendly disposal helps prevent adverse effects on the environment and health and promotes reusing and/or recycling materials that the appliance consists of.
