I have performed the calc ‘n clean. When I squeeze the steam pad on the iron itself there is a clicking sound but no steam.

After the Calc'n Clean procedure, the boiler has been drained and rinsed. A clicking sound with no steam usually means the boiler is empty or the pressure has not built up yet.
Please check the following points:
- Make sure the boiler cap (item 8 in the manual) is screwed back on firmly. If it is loose, no pressure builds up and no steam comes out.
- Fill the water reservoir again, then wait at least 5 minutes for the boiler to heat up and reach operating pressure.
- Once the ready indicator light is on, press the steam button briefly a few times to prime the circuit before using it normally.
If after these steps the iron still clicks without producing steam, the steam valve may be stuck. In that case, contact Bosch customer support with your proof of purchase.
