Quels types de signaux TV puis-je recevoir avec le Pinnacle PCTV 7010iX ?

Vous pouvez recevoir la TV numérique terrestre (DVB-T), la TV numérique satellite (DVB-S), la TV analogique (PAL/SECAM/NTSC) et la radio FM.

Combien de chaînes puis-je regarder ou enregistrer en même temps ?

La carte permet de recevoir jusqu'à 4 chaînes simultanément selon la configuration : par exemple 2 DVB-T + 2 DVB-S, ou 1 analogique + 1 DVB-T + 2 DVB-S, etc.

Quels sont les prérequis système pour utiliser cette carte ?

Il faut un processeur Pentium D 3.0 GHz ou équivalent AMD, 512 Mo de RAM, 20 Go d'espace disque, une carte graphique et une carte son compatibles DirectX 9, et Windows XP (Home, Pro ou Media Center Edition 2005) avec le dernier Service Pack.

Puis-je connecter une antenne satellite directement ?

Oui, la carte dispose d'un connecteur F pour antenne satellite. Vous devez brancher votre parabole sur cette entrée pour recevoir la DVB-S.

Comment améliorer la réception DVB-T ?

Utilisez de préférence une antenne de toit. Pour une antenne intérieure, placez-la près d'une fenêtre, en hauteur, loin des écrans, et orientez-la vers l'émetteur. Activez l'alimentation de l'antenne si nécessaire via l'entrée 1.

Puis-je utiliser la carte pour numériser des cassettes VHS ?

Oui, grâce à l'entrée vidéo analogique (mini-DIN 7 broches avec adaptateur S-vidéo/composite et audio), vous pouvez connecter un magnétoscope et capturer vos cassettes.

La carte est-elle compatible avec Windows 10 ?

La notice indique une compatibilité avec Windows XP uniquement. Pour les systèmes plus récents, il est possible que des pilotes non officiels existent, mais Pinnacle ne les fournit pas. Vérifiez auprès du fabricant.

Comment installer physiquement la carte ?

Déchargez les décharges électrostatiques, éteignez le PC et débranchez-le. Insérez la carte dans un slot PCI Express libre en appuyant uniformément, puis fixez-la avec la vis. Refermez le boîtier et rebranchez le tout.

Que faire si la télécommande ne fonctionne pas ?

Assurez-vous d'avoir installé le récepteur IR (câble fourni) sur le connecteur IR de la carte et que les piles sont en bon état. Vérifiez également que le logiciel supporte la télécommande.

Puis-je utiliser la carte sans antenne extérieure ?

Pour la DVB-T, une antenne intérieure peut suffire si vous êtes près d'un émetteur. Pour la DVB-S, vous aurez besoin d'une parabole. Pour la radio FM, une antenne filaire peut être utilisée.

Congratulations on becoming the proud owner of a Pinnacle PCTV 7010iX!

PCTV 7010iX is a PCI Express 6 in 1 TV card. It allows you to receive digital TV and radio (DVB-T and DVB-S), analog TV and FM radio. Depending on the antenna signals connected, computer performance and the software you are using, you can freely choose the four channels to be received/recorded at the same time:

If you purchased your PCTV 7010iX together with a PC and it is already installed, skip the next few chapters and continue with the chapter "Connecting the Equipment".

In the interest of your own safety and the flawless functioning of your new PCTV 7010iX and computer system, note the following:

• Computer components are sensitive to static charge. Divert any electrostatic charge from your body before touching the components with your hands or any tools.
• Before opening the computer, make sure that the power plug is disconnected from the wall outlet.

Preparing Installation

The only tool you need for the installation is a screwdriver.

• Divert any possible electrostatic charge from your body by touching the casing of your PC.
• Turn off your computer and all peripheral devices. Disconnect the computer from the power supply and all necessary components.
• Loosen the computer cover screws and remove the cover.
• Select a free PCI Express slot. Remove the slot cover at the back of the computer. Make sure to keep the screws in a safe place.

Using PCTV 7010iX Hardware

• Insert the card into the PCI Express slot. To do so, hold the card at the top and push it down into the slot while applying even pressure at both ends. Press down on the upper edge so that the card fits firmly in the slot.

• If you cannot easily insert the card into the slot, do not use force since this may bend the contact springs on the socket connector. Instead, remove the card and try to insert it again.

After Installation

• After you have inserted the hardware, tighten the card retaining bracket firmly on the back of the computer.
• Now place the cover onto your computer and connect the peripheral devices.

For optimal digital terrestrial TV reception please observe the following instructions:

• Connect to a roof antenna if one is available.
  If you wish to use the indoor antenna, it should be located as near as possible to a window.
• Wherever possible, place the antenna in the direction of the nearest transmitter.
• Try to position any indoor antenna as high as possible (for example, on top of a cupboard).
• An indoor antenna should not be located near a computer monitor, television or the like.
• Make certain to have the proper polarization if you use an active flat antenna (if you are not certain, you can find out whether the antenna should have a transverse or upright position by trial and error).
• For active antennas without a separate power supply, please use the Antenna input 1 and activate the antenna power supply.
• Only double-shielded antenna cable should be used.
