If the speed button is unresponsive and the fan remains stuck, here are the causes and solutions:

Checks to do first:

Check that the fan is powered - Make sure it is plugged into a working outlet (test the outlet with another device) and that the 2.5 A fuse has not blown.
Press firmly on the speed button - Control buttons must be pressed firmly and directly to change levels (high, medium, or low speed).
Check that the button is not mechanically stuck - Ensure that no object is restricting the movement of the button or the fan structure.

If the fan remains in silent mode:

The HYF013 has three speed levels (high, medium, low). If the fan is working but remains at a very low speed, press the speed button several times to cycle through the three positions until you reach the desired level.

If the problem persists:

There may be an internal fault with the control panel. In this case, contact HONEYWELL customer service or consult your retailer for an exchange or repair under warranty (1 year).
