To disable the earpiece on your GIGASET GLX 8 during a call, press the speaker icon displayed on the screen. This switches the audio output from the earpiece (handset) to the device's built-in speaker. Press this icon again to return to the earpiece.

To adjust the volume of the earpiece or the speaker, use the side key on your phone. This key controls the volume level depending on the usage mode (call, ringtone, or selected profile).

If you want to disable the earpiece permanently or adjust advanced audio settings, go to your phone's Settings, then look for sound or audio options. In this menu, you can configure your default audio output preferences, including using the speaker for all calls.
