If you have forgotten the lock code (system PIN) of your GIGASET SL930A base, you can reset it to the factory value 0000 by following the procedure below. Note: this operation will reset all the settings of the base and all registered handsets will need to be re-registered.

System PIN code reset procedure:

Unplug the power cord from the GIGASET SL930A base.
Press and hold the registration/paging button located on the base.
Reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet while holding the button down.
Continue to hold the button for about 10 seconds after plugging it in.
Release the button. The base will restart and the PIN code will be reset to 0000.

After the reset:

All custom settings and configurations of the base are deleted.
Each registered handset must be re-registered on the base. Refer to your handset's manual for the exact registration procedure.
You can now access the base with the default PIN code 0000.
It is recommended to change this PIN code to a memorized custom code to avoid having to reset it again in the future.
