Frequently Asked Questions - Metrobreeze 9 New York City Klarstein

How to install the air conditioner correctly?
Place the appliance near a window or door to expel hot air. Unfold the exhaust hose and attach it to the window kit. Make sure the hose is not bent for optimal performance.
Do I need to empty the water tank regularly?
In cooling mode, humidity is expelled through the hot air hose, so the tank fills slowly. However, in dehumidification mode, empty the tank or install a continuous drain hose.
How to clean the air filter?
Turn off and unplug the appliance. Remove the filter at the back, wash it with warm water and mild soap, dry it completely before reinstalling.
The air conditioner makes noise, is that normal?
Yes, a noise level of 52 dB is normal for a mobile air conditioner. Make sure it is on a flat surface and that the screws are tight. If the noise is abnormal, consult the manual.
How to use the remote control?
Insert two AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control. Point it at the appliance's receiver to change modes, temperature, and timer.
The timer is not working, what should I do?
Check that the time is set correctly. Press the TIMER button to program the delayed shut-off. If the problem persists, remove the batteries from the remote for 30 seconds then reinsert them.
What is the maximum area this appliance can cool?
The Klarstein Metrobreeze 9 New York City is designed to effectively cool a room up to 25 m², depending on insulation and ceiling height.
Can I use the air conditioner without the exhaust hose?
No, the exhaust hose is essential to expel hot air outside. Without it, the appliance will not cool properly and may overheat.
What should I do if the appliance shows an error code?
Check the error code table in the manual. Common causes include a full water tank, clogged filter, or too high ambient temperature. Reset the appliance by unplugging it for 5 minutes.
How to get spare parts?
Contact Klarstein customer service or visit their website. Common parts like the remote control, window kit, and exhaust hose are available.
