How do I turn on the fan heater?

Connect to mains and turn the power switch to the desired position: cool air, hot air (1100 W), or very hot air (2200 W). Adjust the thermostat to your preferred temperature.

How does the anti-freeze function work?

Set the thermostat to minimum and the power switch to hot air or very hot air. The heater will automatically maintain the room temperature at around +5°C, turning on when temperature drops below this value.

What is the ioniser function?

The ioniser generates negative ions that clean and purify the air. It is available on certain models (e.g., M2-200). The Ioniser warning light indicates when it is active.

Can I use the heater in a bathroom?

Yes, but unplug after use and ensure it is placed away from water sources, such as baths, showers, or washbasins. For additional safety, install a residual current device (RCD) with a rated current ≤30 mA.

How do I clean the fan heater?

Always unplug the appliance first. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the exterior. Dry thoroughly before using again. Do not immerse in water.

What should I do if the heater stops working?

First, unplug and check the power supply. If it still fails, contact an authorised service centre. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.

Is it safe to cover the heater?

- After unpacking, make sure the appliance is intact, complete with all its parts as shown in the illustrative guide and with no sign of damage due to transportation. In doubt, do not use the appliance and contact an authorised service centre.

• This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, namely as a fan heater for home use. Any other use is considered not compliant with the intended use and therefore dangerous.
• Before connecting the appliance to the mains supply, make sure that the voltage and frequency indicated on the technical data of the appliance correspond to those of the mains supply. The rating is on the appliance or on the power supply unit, if any (see illustrative guide).
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away from the appliance unless continuously supervised.
• Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the pliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

CAUTION! Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

• Use this heater on a horizontal and stable surface, or fix to the wall, as applicable.

PREPARATION

• Unpack the product.
• Check that it is intact and not damaged.
• Pull the cable from the cable reel at the bottom.
• Connect the product to the domestic mains.

USE

WARNING! This appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped or if there are visible signs of damage.

• For fan operation, move the power switch (4) to the cool air position and adjust the ambient thermostat (1) to the maximum temperature.
• To obtain hot air, move the power switch (4) to the hot air position and adjust the ambient thermostat (1) to the required temperature.
• To obtain very hot air, move the power switch (4) to the very hot air position and adjust the ambient thermostat (1) to the required temperature.
• To switch the appliance off, turn the power switch (4) to off.

Anti-freeze function

This function assures maintaining the room temperature at around +5^ . The fan heater turns on automatically as soon as the temperature falls below this value.

• Adjust the room thermostat (1) to the minimum temperature.
  • Turn the power switch (4) to the hot air position to gradually achieve a temperature of +5°C.
  • Turn the power switch (4) to the very hot air position to quickly achieve a temperature of +5°C

Ioniser function (Only for model M2-200 - Type L4802)

The fan heater with Ioniser is equipped with a device that mimics the natural ionisation phenomenon. The ions generated by the fan heater have a positive effect on the air, cleaning and purifying it.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

WARNING! Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or performing maintenance.

The fan heater may be cleaned using a soft, slightly damp cloth. Dry well after cleaning.

WARNING! Once you have finished using this appliance, make sure it has cooled down completely before putting it away.

Keep the fan heater in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children.

When you put the fan heater away, make sure it is well-protected from dust.

DISPOSAL

The packaging of the appliance is made of recyclable materials. Dispose of it in accordance with the environmental protection regulations.

Pursuant to Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), the crossed bin symbol on the appliance or its packaging indicates that the appliance must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its useful life.

The user must therefore take the appliance to an appropriate recycling centre for electrical and electronic equipment. Alternatively, instead of handling the disposal, the user can hand over the appliance to the retailer when a new, equivalent one is purchased. The user can hand over electronic products measuring less than 25 cm to retailers of electronic products having a sales area of at least 400 m² free of charge and with no obligation to buy. Appropriate separate collection for the subsequent procedure for the decommissioned appliance for recycling, which includes treatment and environmentally friendly disposal helps prevent adverse effects on the environment and health and promotes reusing and/or recycling materials that the appliance consists of.

ASSISTANCE AND WARRANTY

The appliance is guaranteed for a period of two years from the date of delivery. Evidence shall be taken as the date indicated on the receipt/invoice (provided it is legible), unless the buyer can prove that the delivery occurred later.

In the event of a defect in the product which existed prior to the date of delivery, appliance repair or

replacement is guaranteed free of charge, unless one of the two solutions is disproportionate to the other. The buyer has the obligation to notify an authorised Service Centre of the non-conformity within two months from discovering the defect.

The warranty does not cover any part that may be defective due to:

a. Damage from transport or accidental drops,
b. Incorrect installation or inadequate electrical system,
c. Repairs or alterations made by unauthorised personnel,
d. Poor or incorrect maintenance and cleaning,
e. Product and/or product parts subject to wear and/or consumables,
f. Failure to comply with the appliance's operating instructions negligent or careless use,
g. an obstruction at the cold air inlet and hot air outlet (front and rear grid),
h. the product being covered while it is running,
i. objects being inserted into the grids,
j. a twisted, bent or damaged power cord due to negligence.

The list above is purely indicative and not exhaustive and in any case, this warranty shall not cover all circumstances that cannot be attributed to manufacturing defects of the appliance.

In addition, the warranty does not cover any case of improper use of the appliance and professional use.

All liability is disclaimed for any damage that may directly or indirectly be caused to persons, property and pets as a result of failure to comply with all the instructions provided in the “Instructions and Warnings Booklet” regarding appliance installation, use and maintenance.

This is without prejudice to any contractual warranty claims against the seller.

Methods of support

Appliance repairs must be carried out by an authorised Service Centre. If the faulty appliance is under warranty, it must be sent to the Service Centre together with a fiscal document that can confirm the date of sale or delivery.
