FAN HEATER INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Dear customer, IMETEC thanks you for purchasing this product. We are certain you will appreciate the quality and reliability of this appliance, designed and manufactured with customer satisfaction in mind. These instructions for use have been drawn up in accordance with European standard EN 62079.
ATTENTION! Instructions and warnings for a safe use.

Please read the use and safety instructions before using the appliance and follow these at all times. Keep this manual and illustrative guide with the appliance for future consultation. Should you pass the appliance on to another user, make sure to also include this documentation. Should certain parts of this user manual be difficult to understand or should doubts arise, contact the company before using the product, at the address indicated on the last page.

SAFETY WARNINGS
• After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity based on the drawing and check for any damage caused during transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact the authorised service centre.
- Do not let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic wrapping out of the reach of children; risk of suffocation!
- Before connecting the appliance, check that the mains voltage data reported on the identification plate corresponds to that of the available electric mains. The identification plate is attached to the appliance.
- This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, that is as a FAN HEATER (convector) for home use. Any other use is improper and potentially dangerous.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. - Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

CAUTION - Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
• DO NOT use the appliance with damp or wet hands or feet.
• DO NOT pull the power cord or appliance to unplug the latter from the socket.
- DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or weather conditions (rain, sun, etc.).
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning or performing maintenance and when the appliance is not in use.
- In case of a fault or malfunctioning of the appliance, switch it off and do not tamper with it. If the appliance needs to be repaired, contact an authorised technical service centre.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorised technical service centre, so as to prevent all risks.
- NEVER pull or lift the appliance from the cable.
- NEVER immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Ⓞ ATTENTION! Do not cover the appliance as it could overheat.
• DO NOT place the appliance immediately under a socket.
- DO NOT use the product in the immediate vicinity of a bath tub, shower or swimming pool. Do not place the product for it to be reached by a person in a bath tub, shower or swimming pool.
- DO NOT place the appliance in the immediate vicinity of curtains or loose cloths.

ATTENTION! The fan heater does not have a room temperature control device.
- DO NOT use the fan heater in small rooms and in the presence of persons who are unable to leave the room autonomously, unless constantly supervised.

DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE AND ACCESSORIES

PREPARATION
- Unpack the product.
- Check that it is intact and not damaged.
- Connect the product to the domestic mains.
USE
Fan heater function
- Turn the power switch (4) to the ECO position for Eco heating.
- Turn the power switch (4) to the RAPID position for rapid heating.
- Set the room thermostat (3) at the desired temperature.
Summer ventilation function
- Set the room thermostat (3) to the maximum temperature MAX.
- Turn the power switch (4) to the ✗.position.
Anti-freeze function
This function keeps the room temperature at approx. +5°C. When the temperature drops below value, the fan heater switches on automatically.
- Set the room thermostat (3) to the minimum temperature *.
- Turn the power switch (4) to the ECO position to gradually reach +5°C.
- Turn the power switch (4) to the RAPID position to rapidly reach +5°C.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning or performing maintenance and when the appliance is not in use.
The fan heater can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. Dry it well after cleaning it.
Keep the fan heater out of the reach of children, in a cool dry place.
Store the fan heater where it is well protected from dust, which could reach the internal part of the appliance.
DISPOSAL

The packaging is made up of recyclable material. Dispose of it in compliance with the environmental protection standards.

The product must be disposed of properly, in accordance with the provisions of European standard 2002/96/EC. The recyclable materials contained in the appliance must be recovered so as to prevent environmental pollution. For further information, contact the local disposal body or the appliance dealer.
ASSISTANCE AND WARRANTY
To request repairs or purchase spare parts, please contact IMETEC's authorised customer service centre on the Toll-Free Number below or via the website. The appliance is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
For details, read the attached warranty sheet. Failure to comply with the instructions for use and maintenance provided in this manual will render the manufacturer's warranty null and void.
