How do I pair the speaker with my phone?

Turn the speaker on by setting the switch to ON. The blue status light will flash rapidly indicating pairing mode. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and search for devices. Select 'X3' from the list. Once paired, the light flashes slowly.

How do I charge the speaker?

Connect the micro USB cable to the speaker's micro USB port and the other end to a USB port on a computer or a USB charger (sold separately). The red status light stays on during charging and turns off when fully charged. Charge at least 24 hours before first use.

Can I use the speaker while it is charging?

Yes, you can use the speaker while it is charging, but it is recommended to allow the battery to charge fully for optimal performance.

Why can't my phone find the speaker during Bluetooth pairing?

Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode (blue light flashing rapidly) and within 10 meters of your phone. Also check that your phone's Bluetooth is enabled and not connected to another device.

How do I use the AUX input?

Connect a 3.5 mm audio cable from your music player's headphone jack to the AUX-IN port on the speaker. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode. Note that the playback controls on the speaker won't work in AUX mode.

What does the status light indicate?

Red light on: charging. Red light off: fully charged. Blue light flashing rapidly: pairing mode. Blue light flashing slowly: connected via Bluetooth. Blue light steady: playing from AUX.

Can I answer calls with this speaker?

Yes, when connected via Bluetooth, press the play/pause button once to answer an incoming call. Press twice to redial the last number.

How do I control music playback?

Tap the '+' button to increase volume, hold it to skip to the next track. Tap the '-' button to decrease volume, hold it to go to the previous track. Press the play/pause button to pause/resume.

What is the battery life?

The battery lasts approximately 4 hours on a full charge. Charging time is about 3 hours.

Is the speaker waterproof?

No, the speaker is not waterproof. It is designed for indoor use only. Protect it from moisture and do not expose it to rain or splashes.

USE

HOW TO USE

1. Set the switch in the ON position to start the speaker.
2. An audio prompt is given and the blue crotic limit flushes slowly

PAIRING

1. Place the speaker within 9 metres of the Bluetooth device,
2. Put the switch in the ON position. The blue status light flashes rapidly to show that the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
3. On the Bluetooth device (smartphone, computer, media player etc.), go to the menu for Bluetooth settings, enable the Bluetooth function and search for new devices.
4. Search for X3 on the unit.
5. Press the model name to pair the device with the speaker. The blue status light flashes slowly when the pairing is completed. The devices are now paired and ready to use.

AUX IN

For other compatible music players or MP3/MP4 players, connect the AUX cable to LINE OUT on the device and AUX-IN on the speaker

CHARGING

1. Charge the battery for at least 24 hours before using it for the first time.
2. Connect the small plug on one end of the micro USB charging cable to the micro USB port on the back of the speaker. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB port on a computer or to a network adapter (sold separately).
3. The status light is red during charging.
4. The red status light goes off when product is fully charged.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Action
Mobile phone cannot find new Bluetooth unit.	Check that the speaker is in pairing mode.
	Make sure the speaker is within reception range.
Will not pair with Bluetooth units.	Check that the mobile phone permits new connections, and that the maximum number of permitted connections has not been reached; see mobile phone instructions.
	Check password: "0000". if a transmission unit with Bluetooth is used, check that it supports password 0000.
The speaker does not play music and cannot answer calls when connected to a Bluetooth mobile.	Check that the mobile phone has Bluetooth and support for A2DP and HSF (handsfree).
	Make sure the mobile phone is within the reception area.
When the speaker is paired with My computer Windows asks for new drive routine. Can you send a drive routine?	We cannot send a drive routine. The Bluetooth drive routines A2DP/HSF can request to play stereo sound via the Bluetooth connection. But the drive routine is needed for the Bluetooth module on the computer and not for the speaker. Different Bluetooth module can require different drive routines. Contact the computer manufacturer or the manufacturer of the Bluetooth module to update the drive routine.
Why can I not remotely control the speaker, e.g. pause, play, go to previous track during playback?	When the 3.5 mm AUX input is used the speaker cannot be controlled with the buttons on the speaker.
	For this function to work the Bluetooth unit paired with the speaker needs to have support for AVRCP (Audio/Vicio Remote Control Profile). Check that your Bluetooth unit (mobile phone or other) has support for AVRCP.
