This manual includes all the feature operations and troubleshooting necessary to install and operate your new Steren's Big button elder telephone.

IMPORTANT
- Before using your new Phone Set, assure to install 3 type AA batteries, otherwise ocean blue light will not light on. Battery compartment is located at bottom of device.
- Disconnect the device from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
- Use a dry, clean cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners.
- Do not use or store the equipment near wet places. It may cause malfunction or shock hazard.
- Caller ID function only works if you have subscribed for the service with your local telecom company.
- This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label, consult your dealer or local power company.
- Do not disassemble this product. Opening or removing parts of the telephone base or handset may expose you to dangerous voltages or other risks.

1. HIGHLIGHTS
The caller ID telephone has a perfect design for kids or elder people, the keys are big size for an easy dial.

The screen has a blue backlite, allowing watch the display in darkness.
It has two quick dial memories, and one of them is marked as emergency.
It features caller ID, alarm, speaker, and in-call LED indicator. Manufactured in ABS plastic, highly resistant to impacts.

2. INSTALLATION
Install your telephone device away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
- The unit requires 3 × 1.5V AA batteries. Openthebatterycompartmentcover located in the back part of the phone.
Verify the polarity and close the cover.

There should be time display on the screen after the batteries are inserted.
-
Connect the coil cord to LINE and the opposite end to the wall line connector.

- Verify that the phone has dial tone.
To connect another extension (not included), plug it into the EXT connector using a phone cord.

- CONTROLS

- LCD screen
- DOWN: Used to navigate through menus. Press this key to reduce the volume of the speaker. In on-hook state shows incoming calls.
- C: Use this key to correct a mistake made while dialing a number and exit menus.
- Ring LED: Turns on when getting a call.
- Speaker: Activate the speaker. Press again to end the call.
- OUT. Press to select the different melodies using the HD / RING button.
- SET: Press to set phone functions.
- ALARM/P: Press to set up to 5 alarms.
- HD/RING: In on-hook state, press to select a ring tone. During the call, press to activate one of the melodies.
- REDIAL: Press to redial the last number.
- FLASH: Useful for other services provided by your telephone company.
- UP: Used to navigate through menus. In on-hook state increases the volume level.
- M1: Once you have stored a number, use to dial them.
- Store: Select to store a number.
- SOS: Once you have stored a number, use to dial them.
- Numerical keyboard
- Handset volume: Press to adjust the volume.
- In use led: Stays on during a conversation.
- Line: Connect to phone line.
- Ext: Connector for an additional extension.

4. SETTINGS
- In on hook state, press Set. The message Set
1 Date, starts to blink on the screen.
- Press Set again, the year starts to blink.
Use ▲uctions to set the current year. Press Set once again.

Repeat last step to set month, day, hour and minutes. Press Set to store the changes.

Press SET and button to modify Set 2 Code.

Please enter the local area code. Use buttons to enter the code. Press
Set to store the changes.
-
Use the ▲button until appears Set 3 LCode.
-
Press SET and enter the PABX code. If you are on a PABX and you need to enter a code to make external calls, set it here. Use the numerical key to enter the code. Press Set to save your changes.
-
To modify Set 4 Lcd press SET once again and use the ▲▼ buttons to level the intensity of screen light. It has 8 levels. Press SET to save changes.

Use the ▲ button until appears Set 5 FLASH. Using the ▲▼ buttons select between 100, 300, 600 and 1000.

- The phone can set up to 5 different alarms. Press ALARM/P, use ▲▼ buttons to set the time and alarm. Press SET to program each of the alarms and save changes.
5. INSTRUCTIONS
5.1 Making a call
• Using handset
- Pick up the handset. The In Use indicator lights on
- After hearing dial tone, enter the desired number to call
- After finishing the conversation, place the handset on the base.
• Using speaker
- Press speaker key. You can hear the dial tone.
The In Use indicator lights on. - Enter the desired number to call.
- After finishing the conversation, press selected
Line key or press speaker key.


5.2 Redial and pre-dial
• REDIAL
Press the OUT button, the last dialed number appears on LCD screen, press REDIAL it will automatically dial the number, then pick the handset up or the speaker.
• PRE-DIAL
- With the handset on the base, enter the desired number to call.
- If there are mistakes press C to delete the digit one by one.
- Press the speaker key or pick up the handset and the number will be dialed automatically.
5.3 Answering Incoming calls
When you receive an incoming call, phone start to ring. If you have caller ID service, then you will receive the incoming number, too.
Using handset:
- When the phone rings, pick the handset up and begin the conversation.
- When finishing the conversation, place the handset on the base.

Using speaker:

When the phone rings, press speaker key and begin the conversation.
-
When finishing the conversation, press speaker key once again.
To receive the caller ID data correctly, please answer the phone after two rings. Otherwise you cannot receive the caller ID data correctly.

5.4 Ringtone
Your phone set has up to 16 different types of ring tones, to choose one of them, follow these steps:

In on-hook state press HD/RING. You can see the current ring tone number on the screen and the volume.

Press the HD/RING button to move over the ring tone list.
-
Press SET to select and save changes.



5.5 Music on hold
If you need to do something during a conversation, press HD/RING and place the handset on the base. Making this you don't end the call and the other person will hear a background music.
When you need to resume the call, pick the handset up or press the speaker key.
5.6 Alarms

- Pick up the handset, press the ALARM / P
button repeatedly to set up to 5 alarms. - Press SET, the hour begins to blinks, use
▲▼ buttons to enter the hour and the minutes. - Press SET to save changes.
- Press C to deactivate the alarm.
5.7 Reviewing outgoing calls
- Press OUT. Dialed numbers appears on LCD screen.
- Press OUT once again, to visualize all dialed numbers stored on memory.

- Press OUT once again, to visualize all dialed numbers stored on memory.

Erasing dialed numbers:
-
Press OUT. Dialed numbers appear on LCD screen.
-
PressOUT until you visualize the desired number that you want to erase.
-
Press C. The number (s) will be deleted from memory.
If you press C for more than 5 seconds, all dialed number stored in memory will be erased.


5.8 Pause
We recommend you press Pause when enter a long distance area code or when you dial an extension number. This function enters seconds delay.

5.9 One touch memory
- Enter the phone number you want to store in memory.
- Press (Store) button, the phone will be stored in memory.
- Press M1 to dial the desired number automatically.

5.9 Two touch memory
- Pre-dial the desired number or check incoming and outgoing number that you
want to store. - Press (store) button and press one of digit keys (0-9).
- Press Store) display rECALL.
- Press digit key (0-9) key, the stored number will be dialed out.
5.11 Store a SOS emergency number
- Enter the phone number you want to store in SOS memory.
- Press the Store) and SOS button, the phone will be stored in memory.
- Press the SOS button to dial the desired number automatically.
5.12 Do not disturb
When a call comes and the telephone is ringing,
press C key, it will stop ringing.

WARRANTY
This Sleren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
- This warranty card will still be required information invoice, product box or package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is required.
