*)The given values are measured actual noise levels, which are not necessarily safe to work in. Even if there is a link between the specified noise level and experienced noise level, it is not possible on this basis to draw any reliable conclusions concerning the need for safety measures. Several other factors affect exposure to noise in each individual case, for example the acoustics in the work premises and any other sources of noise, such as other machines or processes in the premises and the exposure time. Limiting values at workplaces can also vary from country to country. It is incumbent on the user to assess any risks.
** ) Declared total vibration values are measured in accordance with a standard test method, and can be used for comparisons between tools. The value may also be used for a preliminary assessment of exposure. Vibration levels during actual use can deviate from the declared value, depending on how the lawn trimmer is used. Take appropriate measures to reduce exposure to vibration. Suitable precautions for users must be based on the actual conditions, taking into account all parts of the operating cycle, such as the time when the tool is switched off and the idling time, in addition to the time when the power switch is pressed.

USE
INTENDED USE
The lawn trimmer is intended to be used to trim grass and thin weeds alongside trees, walls, and posts etc. and on edges difficult to get at with a lawn mower. The lawn trimmer is not intended for trimming thick weeds, bushes and trees etc.
BEFORE USE
WARNING:
- Do not use the trimmer if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the power cord or plug are damaged. Damaged parts must be repaired or replaced before the trimmer is used.
- Carefully inspect the area where the lawn trimmer is to be used, and remove any objects that can be thrown up by the trimmer.
- Check visually before use that the power cord and plug are intact and undamaged. If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by qualified service personnel.
Check
- Check for any visible damage to the tool, power cord and accessories.
- Check that all parts and accessories are fitted correctly.
Correct working posture
- Hold the trimmer
– with your left hand on the front handle
— with your right hand on the back handle, approximately at hip level
- comfortably balanced.

natural_image
Close-up of a handheld electric shaver with labeled parts (no text or symbols on the device itself)Connecting an extension cord
- Connect the trimmer's power cord to the extension cord.
- Run the extension cord through the strain reliever (3) (diagram 6).
TRIMMING
NOTE:
- Trim only with the left part of the trimmer head (pale grey in diagram),
- Hold the trimmer over the grass when mowing it from left to right, to avoid throwing up grass.
— On the right part (dark grey in diagram) the trimmer lines move towards you. This results in the risk of throw and objects being thrown towards you by the line – risk of personal injury.

- Trim tall grass from the top and down in several steps, otherwise there is a risk of the blades fastening round the line spool.
- Only use the tips of the lines. This reduces the consumption of the line and reduces the risk of grass fastening round the line spool.
- Avoid working too close to walls, posts and fences etc. Contact with solid objects wears the line very quickly.
— The line can damage trees and bushes.
- Plug the trimmer into a power point.
- Press the power switch (1) to start the trimmer.
- Move the trimmer from right to left.
- Tap the trimmer spool on the ground to feed forward the trimmer line when necessary.
- Release the power switch (1) to stop the trimmer.
- Unplug the plug from the power point.
EDGE TRIMMING
WARNING:
- Be extra careful when working with the trimmer head vertical.
- Keep at a safe distance from the trimmer line when the trimmer is in use.
NOTE:
- Avoid contact with solid surfaces, this wears the line very quickly.
- The guide roller (6) makes it easier to steer when trimming edges. It should not be used for trimming bushes and does not affect the height of the trimming.
• Make sure the angle of the trimmer head is 90^ .
-
Fold down the spacer to maintain the right distance during the trimming.
-
Press the power switch (1) to start the trimmer.
-
Move the trimmer as shown in the diagram along the edge of the lawn (diagram 7).
