General Safety Instructions

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.

- WARNING: In case of misuse, there is a risk of possible injury.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. The surfaces will become extremely hot.
- Caution! The surface remains hot during and after its use.
- Only use the steam cooker as long as all the parts have been properly assembled.
- If one part is too hot, isolate that part or use oven

gloves. To avoid burnt produced by steam, keep a safety distance.
- If you want to remove the upper parts, make sure that they are not stuck on the lower parts.
- Before cleaning the device, switch it off and unplug it from the socket. Do not wet the base, it could be dangerous.
- Use only water in the tank.
- Use the device on a steady surface.
- Avoid the power cord to touch hot surfaces.
- Do not let the device unattended while working.
- Do not use the device in the microwave.
- To avoid an electric shock, use always the containers provided.
- Take care with the lid's holes. Steam can burn you.
- Do not move during working.
- Do not use outdoor.
- Unplug the device from socket if you are not going to use it.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the pedestal on a stable table-board. Make sure that all items likely to be damaged by steam are removed. Keep the steamer out of children's reach.
- Pour the required quantity of cold tap water into the reservoir (consult the cooking guide). Do not exceed the maximum level (refer to the markings on the inside of the reservoir). Do not put anything in the reservoir. Do not use wine, meat of vegetable stock or any other liquid.
- Place the food in the steam bowl. Do not add herbs or spices before the end of cooking.
- Place the lid on the steam bowl. Ensure that the handles of the lid are perfectly in line with the handles of the steam bowl. Do not overfill the steam bowl, thereby blocking the holes in the lid (the steam must be able to circulate and escape freely.)
- Put the steam bowl on the base. Plug the steam cooker in.
- In most cases, the water poured into the reservoir will be sufficient to cook the food. If necessary due to personal taste or if some foods require a longer cooking time, water may be added to the reservoir and the vaporization process continued by following the instructions.
- Once cooking is complete, unplug the cooker. Remove the steam bowl carefully. Gently lift off the lid to avoid burning yourself (steam can cause burns).
Tips
- We recommend increasing the time if you use more than one cooking container. Put the more loaded containers in the lower positions.
- You can put different foods in one layer, but should aware that flavors may be mixed.
- When braising different foods, place the time-consuming food in the lower layer.
- When the time left is equal to the time the other food needs, carefully lift the cape hood, put another layer onto the lower one, and braise them till the food are all finished.
- The use of the mess tin: the rate for rice to water should be 1:15, the mess tin should be placed above the layer, and then set the cape hood.
Switch on the power
Make sure that there is enough water in the reservoir before switch on the power. Before set the timer the power should be switched on. You can set the timer according to instructions.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning or any other maintenance operation, let the device to get cold and unplug it from the socket.
- Don't use grinding sanitary products or impregnant to clean the steamer
- Wipe the steamer pedestal and reservoir with wet cloth.
• Periodically clean heater cover to avoid the base v ent of the heater cover walling up. - The water in the water-containing utensil should be disposed when finishing using the steamer. You should put clean water into it whenever you use it.
- You should air all components before you pack it away. And you should place it in a safe ad dry place.
Lime elimination
After seven to ten times using, there will be some scale aggradations on the heater. The amount of scale is determined by the water rigidity in users' region. To avoid heat transform is jammed ad prolong the service life of steamer, clearing scale at a regular intervals are recommended.
- Pour the liquid mixture of water and white vinegar with 1:1 proportion between water reservoir and heater cover to the highest level. Any other cleaning products are prohibited to use.
- Other plastic parts like drip tray are not needed to put on when switch on the appliance to clear the scale.
- Set the timer to 20-25 minutes.
- Pull out power plug after the timer is off. Do not pour out vinegar before it becomes cool completely.
- Wash the reservoir with clean water repeatedly to get rid of vinegar flavour.
FOOD STEAMING CHARTS
The listed steaming time in the chare is only when placing the food on the bottom steaming layer and cold water is used. You can cook the food according to the different conditions. If the steaming time over 90 or 60 minutes (according to the timer), you should reset the timer.
Vegetables
- Leaves vegetables are not suitable to be cooked for ling time in case that the vegetables will lose bright colour.
- Add the salt to the vegetables after cooked.
- Frozen vegetables need not to be defrosted before steaming.

Note: the proportion of rice and water is 1:1.5(according to capacity) when cooking rice.
Postpone steaming time when food cooked with canteen.

Meat and fowl

Disposal of old electrical appliances.
