ENGLISH SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
3. Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of
children less than 8 years old.
4. WARNING: In order to ensure your children‘s safety,
please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
5. If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the
Authorized Service Agent in order to avoid hazards.
6. Never pull on the cord when unplugging.
7. Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it
is not working properly.
8. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
9. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

14. WARNING: In case of misuse, there is a risk of possible
injury. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately. Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always switch the machine off or remove the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead). Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged. Use only original spare parts. Place the appliance on an even, moisture and heat- resistant surface. Use a heat-resistant plate when placing on sensitive surfaces. Attention! Fill water into the rice pot only, never into the housing. Caution! Hot steam escapes from the lid during operation! Be sure to hold the lid only by the intended handles after cooking. 8. Function switch (cook and keep warm)
1. Measure the rice with included measuring cup. One cup of raw rice makes approximately 3 cups cooked
rice. Before cooking rice, it’s recommended wash the rice with water in a bowl until the water is relatively clear.
2. Place desired quantity of rice (after wash it) in the pot. Add water in the pot according following chart:

3. Place pot in cooker. To place it correctly, turn pot gently to right and left. Close the lid firmly.
4. Connect the supplied power cord to cooker and plug it to mains. Turn on the rice cooker putting
ON/OFF switch in “I” position. Don’t turn on the rice cooker until the rice is ready to be cooked, otherwise it won’t prepare well. If the pot is not in the cooker, it won’t work.
5. Push function switch, “COOK” red light will light and the cooker will start to work.
6. When the rice is cooked, the function switch will disconnect automatically and you will hear a click. At
the same time “COOK” light will turn off and “WARM” light will turn on, indicating that keep warm function is activated to avoid the rice gets cold.
7. It is recommended let cooked rice in “WARM” function for 6-8 minutes.

HINTS - Wash the rice: bran gives an unpleasant odor while rice cooking. To remove the bran it is recommended washing the rice with warm water. However, wash the rice may cause loss pf vitamins and nutrients. - “Keep warm” function: using this function for more than 12 hours may cause discoloration and bad odor. The sooner rice is served the better it will taste. It is better to use this function shortly before to eat it or while you are eating the rice to avoid getting cold. - Steam cooking: add as much water as you need in pot. Place the steamer on the pot. If you want to cook rice at the same time than using steamer add 1/8 measuring cup of water to pot. CLEANING Before cleaning, unplug the unit from the mains and let it cool down completely.
1. Remove the pot and the lid and wash them with warm water and detergent. Ensure to rinse them
completely when you finish, after that dry them with soft cloth.
2. Clean outside of cooker with damp cloth, never use a scourer or abrasive detergents, you could spoil it.
Instead of it, soft cloth or lightly wet sponge with water and detergent. Never immerse any part of the cooker in water except pot and lid.
3. Grains of rice or other kind of meal may be placed on heating plate. You have to remove it to avoid
uneven cooking. If it is necessary use a knife or similar instrument to remove it. Afterwards, steel wood can be used to smooth out and polish the area to insure good contact between heater plate and bottom of pot.
4. Improper cleaning can cause unpleasant odors.
5. Any residue of vinegar or salt may cause pot finish to corrode.
