AIR FILTER
The dehumidifiers are equipped with a 3-layer filter package to clean the circulated room air. The 3-layer filter package consists of a screen filter and (separately packed) 3M^TM HAF and active carbon filter. These filters must be placed according to the instructions before operating the dehumidifiers.

1 Screen filter; to remove bigger dust particles.
2 3M ^™ HAF filter; to remove unhealthy particles from the air such as pollen, bacteria, animal dander and dust.
3 Active carbon filter sheet; to remove odours.
TO CLEAN, INSPECT OR EXCHANGE THE FILTERS:
TAKING OUT THE FILTERS:
- Take out the water container (see chapter 'DRAINAGE OPTION').
- Take out the screen filter by firmly pressing down the top of the screen filter with 2 or 3 fingers. The screen filter will bend and the two securing hooks at the top side of the screen filter will be releasable from its dedicated holes. The screen filter is now disconnected and can be easily removed.
• Take out the now visible 3M ^TM HAF filter and the active carbon filter
The screen filter has to be cleaned regularly with a vacuum cleaner to avoid blocking of the air flow. It does not need periodically replacement.
New filter

Recommended change of filter
The active carbon sheet can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner when dusty but has to be changed at the same time as the 3M ^TM HAF filter.

NOTE!
- Never use the dehumidifier without the screen filter!
- To run the unit without active carbon sheet and/or 3M™ HAF filter package does not bring any harm to the dehumidifier. In that case unhealthy dust is not removed.
- Replacement filters are available at your dealer. / www.qlima.com
REPOSITIONING THE FILTERS:
- Reposition the new 3M ^TM filter and new active carbon filter. The active carbon filter at the most inner side of the machine, the 3M ^TM filter at the most outer side of the machine.
- Place the lower end 2 hooks in the dedicated holes, reposition the top end two hooks into the dedicated 2 holes. The screen filter will need to be bend a little, this must be done by pressing on the top of the screen filter with 2 or 3 fingers.
