To turn off the speaker, hold down the button ② for about 3 seconds.
SILVERCREST®
Connect the USB type-A plug of the USB charging cable 14 to a USB power supply (5 V, at least 900 mA) or a USB 3.0 port (can be recognised by the blue USB socket) on your computer.
Connect the Micro USB plug of the USB charging cable 14 to the Micro USB connection INPUT 13 on the speaker.
The following table gives an approximate indication of the speaker's charge level using the four LEDs of battery charge level display ①:
| LED display | Charge level |
| One LED is flashing < 5% | |
| One LED is on 5–25% | |
| Two LEDs are on 25–50% | |
| Three LEDs are on 50–75% | |
| Four LEDs are on 75–100% |
NOTE
The speaker can also be charged during music playback. However, this increases the charging time.
The battery charge level display 1 lights up during charging. When the battery is fully charged, the battery charge level display 1 goes out.
▶ Charging takes about 4–6 hours at a charging current of 2000 mA. When the battery is fully charged, you can play back music for around 8 hours at a medium volume (70 dB (A)). The playback time may vary depending on usage (volume/mode).
When the battery is dead, the speaker beeps every 2 minutes and the first LED of the battery charge level display 1 starts flashing. When the battery charge level drops too low, the speaker switches off automatically.
Checking the charge level
You can also check the speaker's charge level when it is not charged or while it is being used for charging.
While the device is switched on, briefly press any button. The four LEDs of the battery charge level display ① show the current charge level of the speaker for about 10 seconds.
