POWER SUPPLY CONNECTION
This device comes with a power cord.
- To connect the power, insert the figure-eight-shaped plug of the power cord into the power socket at the back of the device.
- Connect the opposite end of the power cord to a household power outlet (AC 100–240 V; 50 Hz/60 Hz) and turn on the power.
INSERTING BATTERIES

- Carefully remove the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 size "C" batteries (UM-2 or equivalent) so that the correct polarity is maintained.
Refer to the diagram inside the battery compartment for battery installation directions.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
Batteries must only be handled by adults.
Do not allow children to use this device unless the battery compartment cover is securely fastened.
The power cord must be unplugged from the power outlet of the player to power the unit with batteries.
Batteries that leak electrolyte can damage the battery compartment and the entire player, so remove them from the player when they are discharged or if you will not be using the player for an extended period of time.
TURNING ON
To turn on the device or put it into standby mode, do the following.
- To switch the device to STANDBY mode, press and hold the ⏻ OFF button for 2 seconds.
- To wake the device from standby mode, press the ⏻ ON button once.
In CD/USB/AUX/BT mode, the unit will switch to power saving mode after playback is finished and after approximately 15–20 minutes of inactivity.
THIS IS NOT A MALFUNCTION.
Press the ⏻ ON button to wake up the device.
SOUND SETTING [EQ]
You can adjust the volume and select different sound effects during playback.
VOLUME +/-
To increase or decrease the volume level, press the VOLUME + / - button.
Equaliser
Press and hold the MENU button for 2 seconds to open the menu and select the equaliser (EQ).
Select the appropriate equaliser for the selected style of music.
SETTING THE CLOCK
- Press the MENU button for 2 seconds to open the menu and select TIME/DATE, then press the OK button to confirm the selection.
- In the TIME/DATE menu, you can set the following by repeatedly pressing the ◀◀ \ ▶▶I button:

[Set Hour System]: 12/24 hour
[Set Date format]
[Clock Style]: Analogue / Digital
[Auto Update]: No Update / Update from Radio
Press the OK button to save the settings or press the MENU button to view the previous step.
Setting Alarms
Please make sure the clock is set correctly before setting it.
- Press and hold the ALARM button for 2 seconds to open the alarm settings:
• [Alarm 1]
• [Alarm 2]

Press the ◀◀ \ ▶▶ button repeatedly to set the alarm options:

Alarm: On / Off
• Time: Setting the wake-up time
• Source: Alarm source: FM, DAB, Buzzer, CD, USB
• Frequency: Once, Daily, Weekend, Weekday.
• Volume: Alarm volume level -
Press OK to confirm your selection.

Press the MENU or ALARM button to complete and save the alarm settings.
- When the alarm is activated, the Alarm 1 icon will be displayed.
- Setting alarm 2 is done in the same way as setting alarm 1.
When the alarm starts ringing, press the ⏻ button to turn off the alarm sound or the SNOOZE button to temporarily delay the ringing for 9 minutes after each press.
If the alarm source is set to CD or USB and no disc is inserted or no USB device is connected, the system will automatically switch to the BUZZER (Sound Signal) source.
If the alarm source is set to FM or DAB, please tune in the desired stations in advance.
LISTENING TO FM RADIO
FM radio station presets
For optimal FM reception, pull out the telescopic antenna and adjust its position.
- Press the MODE button repeatedly to select FM.
- Press and hold the TUNE+ / - button for 2 seconds or press the SCAN button.
• [Scanning...] is displayed.
- The device will automatically tune to a station with strong reception.
- Repeat step 2 to tune in the other stations.
Tuning in a station with a weak signal:
Press the TUNE+ /- button to tune to a better station reception.
Each press increases or decreases the radio frequency by 0.05 MHz.
STORING BROADCAST STATIONS AUTOMATICALLY
You can programme a maximum of 40 FM radio station presets.
- In the FM mode
- Press SCAN and hold down for 2 seconds
• The unit will store all available FM radio stations.
- The first stored radio station is automatically tuned in.
MANUAL RADIO STATION PRESET [PRESET STORE]
- Tune in to the desired FM radio station.
- Press and hold the PRESET button for 2 seconds to open [Preset Store].
- Press the ◀◀ \ ▶▶ button repeatedly to assign a number (1 to 40) to this radio station, then press the OK button to confirm.
- Repeat the above steps to save additional stations.
Note: To delete a previously saved station, save a new station in its place.
SELECTING A PRESET RADIO STATION
- In FM mode, press the PRESET button to activate the Preset Recall function.
- Press the ◀◀ \ ▶▶ button repeatedly to select the preset number.
- Press OK to confirm your selection.
DISPLAY FM BROADCAST INFORMATION
Press the INFO button repeatedly to cycle through the following information (if available).
- Radiotext
- Station name
- Programme type (PTY)
- Frequency
- Date
USING FM MENU
- In FM mode, press and hold the MENU button for 2 seconds to open the FM menu.
- Press the ◀◀ ▶▶▶ button repeatedly to switch between the following menus:
[Preset Recall]
[Preset Store]
[Audio setting]
• [Stereo]: Stereo broadcasting
• [Mono]: switch to mono sound to improve reception [Scan setting]
• [All stations]: Search all available FM radio stations.
- [Scan Setting]
• [Strong stations]: Search only strong FM radio stations.
- Press the OK button to save.
Tip: You can press the MENU button to return to the previous step or exit the FM menu.
LISTENING TO DAB+ RADIO STATIONS
- For optimal reception, fully extend the antenna and adjust its position.
- A maximum of 40 DAB+ radio stations can be programmed.
USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
- Press the MODE button repeatedly to select DAB+ (Digital Radio).
• The instrument automatically performs a full scan
- If no stations are found, the DAB menu will be displayed.

Select [Scan] to start the scan.
-
This product automatically stores radio stations with sufficient signal strength.
-
When the search is complete, the radio station that was saved first will be tuned in automatically.
-
Press ◀◀\▶▶I repeatedly to select the station you want to listen to.
PROGRAMMING DAB+ STATIONS
- Tune in a DAB+ radio station.
- Press and hold the PRE button for 2 seconds to open [Preset Store].
- Press ◀◀\▶▶I to assign a number (1 to 40) to this radio station, then press OK to confirm.
• The radio station is stored with the selected serial number.
- Repeat the above steps to programme other DAB radio stations.
- Press the PRE button to activate the Preset Recall function and then select the preset number of the station you want to listen to.
Note: If you store a radio station with the serial number of another station, the original station will be overwritten.
DISPLAYING DAB+ BROADCAST INFORMATION
In the DAB+ broadcast display, the first line shows the station name and the second line shows the service information for the current station. Press the INFO button repeatedly to cycle through the following information (if available). Short press OK to enlarge the station image (if available).

USING DAB+ MENU
- In DAB mode, press and hold the MENU button for 2 seconds to open the DAB menu.
- Use the ◀◀ ▶▶▶ button to switch between menus.

• [Manual tune]: To manually tune in a station.
• [Prune Invalid]: Remove all invalid stations
- Press the OK button to save.

MANUAL TUNING OF DAB + STATIONS
Use this function to manually tune to a specific channel/frequency. In addition to improving radio reception by changing the orientation of the antenna, you can also improve reception with this function.
- Press and hold the MENU button for 2 seconds to open the menu.
- Select a list of stations.
- Press the ◀◀◀ \ ▶▶▶ button repeatedly to select a station.
- Press OK to confirm the option.
REMOVING INVALID DAB+ STATIONS
This option displays a list of active stations and removes any stations that are listed but do not have service in your area.
- Press and hold the MENU button for 2 seconds to open the menu and select [PRUNE Invalid].
- Repeatedly press ◀◀ \ ▶▶ to select an option:
• [No]: Return to the previous menu.
• [Yes]: Remove invalid stations from the station list.
- Press OK to confirm your selection.
PLAYBACK FROM A BLUETOOTH DEVICE
- Press the MODE button repeatedly to select Bluetooth.
- On your mobile device, turn on and search for available Bluetooth devices nearby. Select the Bluetooth name SPT 6200DB and connect to it.
- After a successful connection, the SPT 6200DB radio will display the name of your mobile device.
- To end the session, disconnect the paired SPT 6200DB radio on your mobile device.
Warning: Keep the distance between the devices within 15 m. Avoid obstacles such as walls.
CD PLAYBACK CONTROL
Inserting a CD
- Press OPEN/CLOSE to open the CD drive door.
- Insert the CD into the CD drive with the printed side facing up.
- Close the CD drive door.
CD PLAYBACK
- If necessary, wake the unit from STANDBY mode.
- Press the MODE button repeatedly to select CD.
- Use the above steps to insert the disc (if not inserted).
- The player starts loading the disc immediately.
- When the disc is successfully loaded, the display shows the total number of tracks found on the disc.
- Press ▶II to start playback. Press this button again to STOP music playback; the flashing of the track time on the display indicates the player's pause mode. Press the ▶II button to resume playback.
- To stop playing music, press the ■ button. The display will show the total number of tracks again.
TRACK SELECTION
- To skip to the next track, press the ▶▶ button.
- To go to the beginning of the current track, press the ◀◀ button.
- To skip tracks in increments of 10, press the +10/F+ button.
- To skip a folder, press and hold the +10/F+ button
(CD-MP3/USB playback only)
REPEAT PLAYBACK
During CD playback, press and hold the MENU button to open the menu, select CD repeat, and then select the desired playback mode.

PROGRAMMED PLAYBACK
To programme an alternative track playback order, do the following.
- Make sure that the device does not play the disc.
- Press the PROG button once to activate the programming mode.
★ The "P01" and "T01" indicators will flash on the display. - Press ◀◀◀ \ ▶▶▶ to select the first track you want to programme.
-
Press the PROG button again to save and jump to the next programmed track.
The programme order indication will change to "P02" for a moment and the next input will be expected. -
Repeat the above steps to programme additional tracks. A maximum of 20 CD tracks / 99 MP3 tracks can be programmed.
- Press the ▶II button to start programme playback in your preferred order.
- You can press the ■ button to end the programme playback.
- To delete a programme, press the ■ button twice in stopped mode or open the CD drive door.
USB PLAYBACK
- Press the MODE button repeatedly to select USB.
- Press ▶II to start playback. Press this button again to STOP music playback; the flashing of the track time on the display indicates the player's pause mode. Press the ▶II button to resume playback.
- To stop playback, press the ■ button.
- The control procedure is the same as for playing CDs. See the general description of the control for details.
Caution:
Due to the variety of devices on the market, compatibility and playback support for all media are not guaranteed. The memory devices you want to connect should be tested in advance and/or formatted as FAT32. The playback of protected media, files or content stored inside them may fail.
EXTERNAL INPUT (AUX)
Press the MODE button repeatedly to select AUX. The device is equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack. Connect your device to the SPT 6200DB using an audio cable. First connect the audio connector to your device and then to the jack on the SPT 6200DB located on the right side.
Warning:
Before connecting your device to the SPT 6200DB receiver, ensure that the output signal from your device is at its minimum level (minimum output volume). This will prevent damage to the SPT 6200DB radio.
GENERAL SETTINGS
In standby mode, press and hold the Menu button for 2 seconds to adjust the settings:
- [Backlight]: Setting the time interval and brightness level
• [Time/Date]: Setting time and date entries
• [Language]: English, Francais (French), Deutsch (German), Norsk (Norwegian), Polski (Polish), Espanol (Spanish), Svenska (Swedish), Netherlands (Dutch), Portugues (Portuguese). - [Factory Reset]: Resetting the product to factory default settings.
- [System version]: Software version check.
SETTING THE SLEEP TIMER
This device can be set to automatically switch to standby mode after a preset time.
When the unit is switched on, press and hold the MENU button for 2 seconds to open the menu, then select [SLEEP] and press the OK button to open.
Repeatedly press ◀◀ \ ▶▶ to select the sleep timer period (sleep timer off, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, etc.).
- When the sleep timer is active, C^120 will be displayed.
- The number displays the minutes remaining until shutdown.
Press the OK button to confirm the selection or press the MENU button to exit the setting.
USING HEADPHONES
On the right side of the SPT 6200DB radio you will find an input (3.5 mm) for connecting wired headphones. Before connecting the headphones, reduce the volume of the music to a minimum. Then put on your headphones and select the volume that suits you. While headphones are connected, the speakers on the SPT 6200DB radio will be muted to the minimum level.

EN Warranty conditions
Warranty card is not a part of the device packaging.
This product is warranted for the period of 24 months from the date of purchase to the end-user. Warranty is limited to the following conditions. Warranty is referred only to the customer goods using for common domestic use. The claim for service can be applied either at dealer's shop where the product was bought, or at below mentioned authorized service shops. The end-user is obligated to set up a claim immediately when the defects appeared but only till the end of warranty period. The end user is obligated to cooperate to certify the claiming defects. Only completed and clean (according to hygienic standards) product will be accepted. In case of eligible warranty claim the warranty period will be prolonged by the period from the date of claim application till the date of taking over the product by end-user, or the date the end-user is obligated to take it over. To obtain the service under this warranty, end-user is obligated to certify his claim with duly completed following documents: receipt, certificate of warranty, certificate of installation.
This warranty is void especially if apply as follows:
■ Defects which were put on sale.
■ Wear-out or damage caused by common use.
The product was damaged by unprofessional or wrong installation, used in contrary to the applicable instruction manual, used in contrary to legal enactment and common process of use or used for another purpose which has been designed for.
■ The product was damaged by uncared-for or insufficient maintenance.
