III. VACUUM CLEANER PREPARATION

Remove all packing material, take out the vacuum cleaner and the accessories. Remove all possible adhesion foils, stick-on labels or paper from the appliance.

Fixing vacuum cleaner into adapter

Put vacuum cleaner A to cleaner body B with the suction vent and then tilt the vacuum cleaner to the aperture to the maximum position (you will hear a snapping sound). After taking the vacuum cleaner from the body you have to push lock button A3 and then to pull the vacuum cleaner out (Fig. 2).

Floor nozzle

Slide the nozzle D into the vacuum cleaner body B all the way (you'll hear an audible clack).

Assembling handle

Connect the handle into the cleaner body, insert and tighten the screw.

Slit nozzles, brush

Slide the selected accessory E all the way into the opening in the dust bin A5. Take the attachment off reversely. The accessory can be used only with this vacuum cleaner.

IV. USE OF VACUUM CLEANER

According to the selected cleaning activity, use either the vacuum cleaner alone and select accessory E or assemble the vacuum cleaner with an extension adapter and select accessory D. The floor nozzle D is intended for vacuuming carpets with low pile or smooth flooring. If the floor nozzle is fitted with a brush, pull it out by switching over a flap when vacuuming hard floorings. You can use crevice nozzle E1, for vacuuming places that are hard to access. In case of using the cleaner A without the body of the rod cleaner B, turn it on/off by switching the switch A1.

Emptying dust container

If you find out that the suction performance of the vacuum cleaner is reduced, make sure that the dust container is not full and if necessary, empty it. After pressing the dust bin arrest button A2, remove the container from the cleaner by pulling slightly (pic. 3). Pull out micro-filter E4 and filter protector E5 from the container, then place the container over a dustbin and empty it into common municipal waste. For sanitary reasons we recommend emptying the container outside residential premises.

Cleaning dust container and cleaning filter

After the container has been emptied about 5 times, we recommend complete cleaning of the suction system from the settled dust. All parts (e.g. container, filter, filter protector) can be cleaned in running lukewarm water (e.g. using a cloth or a soft brush) and let to dry thoroughly. Re-assemble individual parts in the opposite direction after it is completely dry.

CAUTION

- Do not switch the vacuum cleaner on and off by unplugging the power cord from a socket. If the switch is in "ON" and the vacuum cleaner is leaning (e.g. against furniture, wall), the vacuum cleaner can fall and it can be damaged due to the aggregate (motor) moment.

- Never vacuum impurities without protective filters on.

- The maximum suction effect will be reached with a clean filter and an empty container.

- Do not use any aggressive washing or cleaning agents or hot water to clean the filter.

- The dust container is not resistant to cleaning in a dishwasher!

- Neglecting the micro-filter cleaning may lead to breakdown of the vacuum cleaner!

- Make sure that the contact surfaces and the sealing elements are functional.

- We recommend replacing the filter once a year or when it cannot be cleaned properly or if it is damaged.

- The nozzle in this model is not suitable for use on carpets.***

V. MAINTENANCE

Unplug the battery charger from the power supply before any maintenance. Store the vacuum cleaner at a dry place, far enough from heat sources (e.g. fireplace, stove, heating element) and protect it against weather conditions (e.g. rain, sunshine). Treat the surface of the vacuum cleaner (only when disconnected from the electric socket) with a soft and wet cloth, do not use abrasive and aggressive cleaning agents! Never dry plastic moldings over a heat source (e.g. heater, electric/gas stove). If the power cord becomes dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth. Wind the power cord to the hooks on the bottom part of the vacuum cleaner. When storing, always set the floor nozzle with the brush retracted, thus you will prevent bending of the bristles.

Floor nozzle, brush

After any vacuuming it is recommended to check visually the brushes or collectors for possible impurities. If there are some impurities, remove them.

Storage

Store the appliance thoroughly clean on a dry, dustless place out of reach of children and persons sui juris. Do not put the assembled rod vacuum cleaner on an uneven surface! The cleaner must be placed on a flat surface where there is no danger of knocking over.
